As A Mother And Advisor

Inna woke up the following day to an empty bed and sat up, looking around the tent for Yren. It didn't take her long to find him as he was sitting in front of the map that his mother had been looking at last night with a serious expression on his face.

"What are you looking at?" Inna asked as she walked over and leaned against Yren's back, and he put an arm around her waist and pulled her into his lap.

"I am trying to figure out where this Morbius thing is so I can avoid it," Yren explained, but Inna just snorted.

"You should just stay away from all of the mountains; it isn't worth getting hurt over," Inna said, but Yren shook his head.

"I need to find out more about this thing if I am ever going to be able to protect everyone from it," He said stubbornly, and Inna sighed. She knew that there was no use in trying to argue with him when he got like this; it was better just to let him do what he wanted.
