"I think my mother is going to be the death of me," Yren muttered as he leaned back in his chair with a frustrated sigh. Inna giggled and then walked over, sitting on his lap and putting her arms around his neck.
"It's not that bad," Inna said, trying to comfort him, but Yren groaned.
"She just keeps giving me more responsibilities, and I am already feeling overwhelmed as it is! Plus, she insists on bringing Healia with us everywhere we go now! I just want some peace and quiet for once," Yren explained.
"I think your mother is just trying to help you learn how to deal with people. You are the King now, so you have to start learning these things," Inna said reasonably, but Yren groaned again.
"I know, but it is just so frustrating sometimes!" He exclaimed, and Inna chuckled as she kissed him on the cheek.
"It will all be over soon enough," She said comfortingly as she snuggled closer to him. "Just try to enjoy the time that you have with your family."
