After lunch of ham, egg, and cheese, with sauce in a flat cake, which Healia had to admit tasted a lot better than she thought it would, Yren stepped them back into the cave. This time, when they got to the spot where Healia had gotten lightheaded before, Yren stopped and looked at her with a concerned expression on his face.
"Are you sure you are feeling up for this? We can turn back," He offered, but Healia shook her head.
"No, I am fine; let's just get this over with," She said as she straightened her spine and lifted her chin in determination. Yren chuckled at her but then nodded his head and took another step forward, dragging the girls behind him.
The further they went, the worse the air quality became, and Healia started to feel lightheaded again. She tried to breathe through it but eventually had to stop as she felt herself start to black out. Yren must have sensed it because he stopped and turned around to face her.
