Dinner at the Murphy’s - I

The news of his brother coming back home had already reached his mother and she was taking it quite hard.

Everything had been prepared to his liking. From the cutlery that he liked, to the exact glass of wine, he preferred dinner. Everything was according to the preference of his brother.

Now, he slightly regreted bringing him over. His brother had once again taken all the attention to himself, without even meaning to do so.

"Do you think he's going to like all of it?" Daphne murmured as she corrected the position of the folk near his seat. "I make sure everything is to his liking. Even desert and he likes everything sweet."

He knew that. He had noticed everything. The desert had been a chocolate biscuit cake, Charles' favorite and something Adrian despised very much. He hated anything chocolate and his mother always made sure that there was one type of desert that did not have any chocolate in it. At the moment, it seemed like she had completely forgotten about it.
