The guest - III

Their breakfast arrived together. With their respective plate of food in front of them, Gavin exited the dining room. Joyce knew better. He must be hanging around waiting if someone needed anything else.

As much as that freaked her out, sometimes it was actually a blessing. Gavin just knew stuff and his loyalty was an added benefit that almost helped everyone in the house at all times.

From the corner of her, Joyce noticed that Katrina had gone for a full English breakfast. She had assumed that she would order something Russian, but then again, she was not going to get anything tasting close to home.

If she was a good person with a good heart, Joyce decided that she was actually going to find an authentic Russian restaurant for Katrina.

Switching off her tablet, she picked up the knife and fork and dug in.

Her mind even know her eyes were on the tablet at an article that was very close to her field, was somewhere else. More particularly, it was on the gas in her house.
