A breaking Point - III

A day later.

Daphne stopped at the end of the stairs. Body felt tired and so was her mind. It was a message to get up from bed and face the situation at hand every single day but you have to do it. Everyone was doing it and she had to take a step forward and help all of them and whatever we should go to.

She made a mental note to herself about starting exercises as soon as all of this was over. Her joints are paining now and climbing upstairs was not easy.

She squared her shoulders and wiped away any remnants of sadness from her face. Some tasks took bravery from her extent also and this one was just like that. She had to face everyone in this family with a smile on her face to give them the hope that at the end of the tunnel, there was light. Then she took the first step towards her daughter's room.

Taking a plate from a cart that was being wheeled by a servant behind her, she knocked on Margaret's door before walking in.
