Reverence of Submission

The flower curled up Jackson with her vines.

She was going to drain his life energy. But then she realized that inside Jackson's body there is a strange kind of energy which, by absorbing increased his powers, not only that, the energy was purifying his lineage so if she absorbed all the energy in his body then she could surely approach atavism.

The flower is so gleeful that, she wants to suck all of Jackson's life energy until he becomes a mummified corpse.

But then a mist came over the whole place.

The flower looked around cautiously, she was afraid of an enemy attack that could interrupt her process of absorbing the qi in Jackson's body.

The goblins were scared too.

When they saw Jackson passed out, they panicked.

The goblins wanted to help Jackson, but the injuries from their previous fight with the flower didn't allow them to help him.

The goblins were also wary of the fog, they did not know if the new individual who has arrived is a friend or a foe.

The fog then encased the whole place, everyone was anxious.

A silhouette of a snake appeared, but it wasn't crawling on the floor, it was floating in the air.

Everyone froze, the newcomer was not a snake, but a flood dragon.

The dragon had a snake body, but it had a dragon head and four claws that could crush anything or anyone in the place.

The dragon approached Jackson, finding that he was not in any life-threatening circumstance despite his injuries, breathed a sigh of relief.

The flood dragon grabbed Jackson with one of his claws, he used his powers and grabbed the wolf and the bear, he then turned to leave but came across the goblins preventing him from leaving.

They were shaking, even though they knew that they weren't a match for the dragon, they could not let their savior be taken away.

The dragon looked at the goblins with a little interest.

He held them with his power, he looked back and saw the flower gathering energy, it could also prevent him from carrying Jackson, he then held her like the goblins.

The dragon left the place, after a few minutes he arrived near a lake.

The dragon released them all, with a wave of his hand, blue algae came out of the lake and clung to Jackson and the others, this stopped the bleeding and began to heal their wounds.

He then went into the lake, leaving everyone in silence.

The goblins moved near Jackson to protect him in case the flower launches an attack.

The flower didn't care about them and continued sticking to Jackson until he was awake.

Although, Jackson lost a lot of blood and had several wounds on his body.

He has the nature qi, which aided Jackson in recovering faster.

After an hour had passed, Jackson woke up.

He looked around and realized he was at home. In addition, the four goblins, and the monster-eating flower were also present.

The goblins seeing that Jackson had arisen, they surrounded him happily.

'I'm still alive'

Jackson was surprised by the situation, as he returned home somehow.

The goblins spoke without stopping in a strange language.

"I'm glad, they're fine," Jackson told them.

The quartet lined up and bowed in submission, which startled Jackson.

He knew what that implied.

When a monster makes a submission bow, it means that he has chosen the person as his Master.

Jackson understood their reason. He had saved their lives because of that they felt indebted to him.

"I can accept you as my servants, but are you sure? I didn't save you expecting anything in return."

The goblins slapped their chests proudly, it was as if they were offended by what Jackson had said.

"Fine then"

Jackson cut his hand, he took some of his blood and rubbed the goblin's forehead with it.

They jumped with happiness.

A light shone on their bodies and they began to change.

Them, who used to have a body of half-a-meter, now are a meter tall.

The appearance that was once similar to human children, now if it wasn't for their green skin, Jackson might have mistaken them for being humans.

They were very pleased. Jackson then realized that among the four brothers, one was a sister.

Jackson had a peculiar feeling as he looked back to discover the monster-eating flower.

He looked at her oddly.
