Unsure if you're worth it.

Brent's PoV

Four years ago,

I have always been protective of my younger sister, Lhea. I want the best for her. Ever since I lost both my mom and my older brother, Arthure.

They were killed by our rival family, the Freshckers. The story my family told us had a lot of holes. But I don't care anymore. All I need to do is protect my sister from the people who want to harm us. I am ready to stain my hands just to protect my sister. She is all that I have now.

But I didn't think she'll also do what I should be doing. This thing is supposedly for me. She should leave her life as a spoiled brat now. Why is she being mature?

Where is the little sister I left years ago who was very dependent of me?

''What's that?'' Alexei asks.

''A letter from my younger sister.''

''From Lhea? Why?''

''She wants to join the military next year. We will be first years at Robina at that time.'' I said while crumpling the paper.

I'll be 16 next year. I need to stand on my own and be there for Lhea.

''We'll be independent next year.'' Steve said as he enters the room. ''You can make decision on your own and you can file for full custody to Lhea.''

That's right. I can file full custody for Lhea. I don't trust my aunts and uncles. They want to kill us because all the fortune are in our names.

''She wrote it in the letter, she doesn't full custody from anybody.'' my eyes swell up.

My two bestfriends rush towards me and hugged me. I cried. ''My Lhea is so mature now.....she doesn't need me anymore.'' The two tried to calm me down.

The three of us are bestfriends since childhood and they know how I want Lhea to depend on me.

PRESENT TIME-----

7:32 AM

''We're going to Lhea's room. I wanna meet the professor.''

''Ponyal*.'' Alexei agreed. ''YA v*'' and so as Steve.

We enter the gate, got our ID's check and walk towards the 1st year's building.

''KYAAAAAAHHHHH!!!'' the girls screamed. Alexei feeling hot, winked to the girls. Steve waved. And I just ignore them like a bad boy and bit my lower lip, making

the girls scream more.

''What room? '' '''6th room...'' jut like the old days." Alexei paused as we entered the red building. "What?'' Steve asked.

''Podozhdi minutu*!!! .'' Alexei said. ''Why are you always the handsome one in the group? '' Both me and Steve just laughed at him, and he continued to floor 6.

All the students in the hallway looked at us as we arrived. They must have recognized the bands on our arms. The bands show that we are students who survived the war between

Aville and Belarus when we were in our training years. That was four years ago. We infiltrated the army, got killed in the war and report here to the principal. We just fake our deaths and escape the

battlefield.

''Brent?'' A pretty lady asked. ''Lhea, my dear sestra.'' I touched her face.

''Ýour being dramatic, Brent.''

''Can you at least call me brother or brat?''

''I'm too old for that, Brent.'' She entered the room.

''Zhenikh*.'' Pia called me. The strongest woman I ever met. ''Moya krasivaya nevesta*.''

''What are you doing here?'' Pia asks.

''You have a new professor?''

''Yeah. You wouldn't believe who.'' Anne added and enters the room. I hold Pia's hand. I haven't hold this hand for 5 years. It is the same warmth I felt when I touch her.

My heart's gonna burst out of my chest.

The two followed us as we enter the room.

I sat beside Pia and Lhea. We can enter a room even if we are already in our third year.

We have to rate the new professor anyway.

The bell rang. The first 6 months here are for studies about college. The principal decided this for us so we could have a normal college day. I miss my first 6 months here.

Then the door opened. Now, let me see the face of this new professor.

Am I blind? The sun lit the person's face. A special dramatic effect maybe?

Then I saw the...fucker's face.....

My blood starts to boil.

So the two have met again. The second time, I couldn't stop their meeting. Am I even a brother?

Then the bastard made an eye contact. His eyes widened. ''I---I am no---not the o-ne you-your thinking of right now.'' he said.

"Yes, you are.'' I got up and run towards him. As soon as I get close to him, I punch him in the abdomen.

''How did you enter, huh, Oliver? '' He puked saliva."

''How come you are here. You weren't supposed to be here.''

''I'm so-sorry... I didn't kn--know....''

You didn't know. Tell me how can a Freshcker enter here? You murderers!

I punch him. Punched him until I see blood in his face.

''BRENT!!!'' Because of the adrenaline I had I couldn't clearly hear the noises. Not, until I saw my sister's tears.

I stopped.

S-Lhea? ''Oliver!!! Oliver!!! Oliver wake up please...'' Its all the thing I heard. Only warm hands pulled me away. I look behind. Pia? Everything was in chaos.

Lhea and Anne assisted Alexei in carrying Oliver. Steve and Pia are beside me. Pia hugging me and Steve talking to me. When did I become deaf? Or Steve couldn't talk at all?

I never thought a Freshcker would teach here. And what is his connection to Lhea? How come Lhea go with him? Is she already attached to that man?

My mind is in haze.

I slept in my lover's arms.

A tap in my shoulder woke me up.

''How long has it been since I slept?'' I ask Pia.

''Two hours.''

I sat next to Pia. Lhea!

''Where's Lhea?''

''She's with Oliver. Oliver is currently at the clini--.'' Pia didn't finish as Lhea entered the empty classroom.

''STELLA!'' I hurriedly hug her. She hugged me back. Glad, she's not mad at me.

''Why did you do that in front of his students?'' she asks. Why is she not asking about me?

''I'm worried about you too but doing that thing to Oliver in public not what father told us!'' she added.

I was wrong. I shouldn't let my emotion take control of me. ''I'm sorry.''

Lhea rubbed my back. I end the hug with a bitter smile.

''Why did you go to him, anyways? I'm your brother, you should have stayed with me.''

''I'll apologize for forgetting to tell you about this but we already sealed a kiss.''

SEALED A KISS?!

''What?! When? How can I not know about this? You kissed a murderer?''

I feel my head being dizzy. ''Oh god!!!''

It happened. A memory suddenly came flashing through my mind.

The history has been sealed off.

''Bring me a cup of cold water!'' As soon as I grasped the water I drank it.

''I would put my bet on Alexiac.'' I said confidently towards my older brother.

''That's where you got it all wrong, Brent.'' He exclaimed.

''Why? Alexiac got lost a month ago. It is clear that Alexiac is the cub Momma described in the story.''

''A legend doesn't get true just because the main hero got lost while he was a seven year old kid. A legend finishes a legend with how he survived when he was just a tiger with no stripes and how he find the garden of roses where the golden baby dragon is sleeping.''

''That is so dramatic. But I am sure that Lhea is the golden baby dragon, right. mommy?''

My mom's blurry face showed.

I thought it would be Lhea and Alexiac. Why would it be that bastard?

I lost to you brother Arthure. When we heard about the story, we bet on who would Lhea be marrying 'cause we know Lhea is the woman being described in the story. Alexiac was missing for a week when I was about 7 and I thought Alexiac would be the Missing cub that the baby dragon kissed.

Who would have thought that there is a missing heir? But Arthure really guess right.

I guessed the Baby Dragon already found her playmate.

I cannot do anything about this? Its what the legend says.

I lied down.

''I'll kill him if he ever hurt you.''

''Thank you, starsi brat.'' my heart melt. My younger sister just called me older brother in our mother tongue.

I slept again. AAHHHH!
