Side Story: Valentine's Day

"It's chaotic wherever you go" Jaden replied with that subtle smile on his lips

Drachen agreed with him and in that small space where there were only the two of them and the books surrounding them, he swallowed a bit of his saliva as he slowly reached out Jaden's hand to take it, however, his friend didn't realize Drachen's actions and got up quickly.

"That's it!! I Got it!"

"W-What is it?" The prince spoke very fast thanks to his nervousness looking at his friend while he slowly withdrew his hand very ashamed.

"The solution to that pile of chocolate, I'm sorry I must go now Dreach, see you later!"

Jaden was going to make some bread with chocolate inside them and give it to the children of the orphanage. He always saw how the children couldn't eat sweets and even less chocolate because it was really expensive so he could make their dream true thanks to that ridiculous celebration.

Jaden smile at his friend and said goodbye with a beautiful expression leaving the library like a little whirlwind, it was quite good for Drachen to see Jaden so lively...

He also get up, and even though he had lost a great opportunity to confess his feelings, he wasn't disappointed.

Drachen looked at the door where Jaden leave absent-minded for a moment, his eyes went to the place where his friend was sitting a few seconds ago, and smile sadly, the prince had a distressed look and everyone could see the regret and pain in his eyes...

If only he had noticed earlier that Jaden was his first love, if only he hadn't wasted his precious time with his aunt's schemes... It wouldn't be too late now to be next to Jaden as his partner... maybe he could be able to be with his true love...

After some time, he took a small bag out of his pocket with the chocolates he had made for Jaden and placed them among the pile of books they were before, and then he went to the door and leave the library as well.

"Maybe it was our fate, maybe it had to be like this..."

He whispered to himself, trying to comfort the pain in his heart. Drachen thought that maybe there was a reason why life kept them apart for so long... Maybe they weren't meant to be together...

Jaden ran back to his classroom unknowing how his precious friend feels about him, he was carrying some cardboard boxes that he got from the concierge of the school.

In those boxes he placed all the left chocolates from his desk, luckily the pile had been reduced by half and he was able to get the remains out in two boxes.

Since they wouldn't have classes that day thanks to the stupid event they were holding he didn't worry about homework or anything else, and even though he couldn't leave school because the headmaster made a kind of dynamic he hadn't bought the chocolate for someone else so he went back to the Krinwood castle by himself, without telling or waiting for Alucard.

"He would be very busy... Isn't he? Yes... He must be eating the chocolates of my sister and his millions of fans" Jaden whispered to himself completely angry while the carriage bring him back to the sunshine pack.

At school

"HAHAHAHAHA so Jaden doesn't like chocolate?"

"He likes them, Lucian"

"So? Why do you still have that in your hand?"

The young boy pointed to the small box of chocolates in Alucard's hand, although Lucian didn't want to make fun of his friend, the whole situation was something unbelievable to him.

It was amusing that his friend the Grand Duke of the Sunshine pack was fighting for the opportunity to give some chocolate to his destined mate.

Any other person in the whole of Snowlight Hill would die of happiness to receive something like that from Alucard but the one that his friend was interested in wasn't like the rest of the people. It was something new seeing him suffering some mundane problem.

Alucard's destined mate was more difficult and funny than he had imagined.

"It's complicated…"

It was the only thing that Alucard answered.

He didn't know how to explain to his friend that Jaden wouldn't accept chocolate from someone like him... who at first treated him badly and now wanted his affection...

He thought despondently not knowing why he'd had to be such a bastard when he met Jaden.

"Ugh… I'm going to sleep on the yard, are you coming?" Not knowing how to say something to Jaden he decided to go get some rest to think of a plan.

Both of them got up and went out through a door of the room without noticing that on the other side of the classroom that beautiful alpha girl who was Alucard's fiancée entered with a beautiful bag full of chocolates for him.

"Excuse me, have you seen Alucard?"

Beyond the large school buildings, where the frozen lake was, two figures were ice skating and dancing to the rhythm of the wind.

They laughed as they twirled on the ice and hugged each other when they were exhausted.

After a few minutes, they sat on the bench near the shore and rested there to catch their breath; however, the most impatient of both couldn't wait any longer to steal a kiss from his partner.

"Mmm Archer! Wait… ahh… I still can't breathe properly"

"And why do you want to breathe well? Now that you mention it, you're going to run out of breath very soon"

"Hahahaha silly, what are you talking about?"

"Nian…" The albino-haired young man left a caress on his partner's cheek before kissing him again but this time was slow.

Archer and Nian were still hiding from the public eye because they couldn't draw attention to themselves, although most were already wondering why Nian had an alpha mark on his neck or why he always smelled like Archer nobody dares to say anything.

Archer had excused himself to his friends saying he was torturing Nian even more to calm his "rage" and more because he now think that he had protection from his alpha outside of school. Einar and the rest agree with him but it was a little strange to them.

Nian's mother was still trying by all means to find her son, she hadn't said anything about the minor's disappearance because if Nian spoke and said what happened in their house it could go wrong for her.

She had heard from the headmaster that her son was still attending the school that's why she was outside every day at the entrance of the school without knowing that Nian was under Archer protection and that they leave the school in the Winterlane's carriage or that Archer covered Nian's scent on their way out.

With the real appearance of Nian that only Archer knew he was able to convince his mother Elein that Nian was a foreigner who lost his memory and that he would keep him in his room merely to "play" for a while under one condition, he should marry the girl or omega boy that his mother chose for him.

He positioned Nian facing him leaving him sitting on his lap with almost no distance between them, that way Nian could feel the touch of his torso and Archer had a good opportunity to caress Nian's round and shapely butt.

"What is it?"

"L-Let go of me and you'll see!"

"Mmm maybe later" the Alpha complained a little, hugging Nian better.

He only laughed between the kisses.

"My God, you are more possessive than I have imagined"

"Oh… so you imagined me being possessive with you?"

The words filled with that tone of seduction from the Alpha managed to turn Nian's face into that intense red color.

"I-I never said that!"

Although if he had done it he would not recognize it or even say it out loud because that would only raise the ego of his partner and Archer has already an overflowing ego.

"Too bad... I did imagine Nian that way, I thought you would look sexier being a little more territorial with me... Trying to tame me" he whispered those words in a seductive tone.

And there was that look that made Nian tremble from head to toe in seconds, he swallowed a bit of his saliva and concentrated on those beautiful intense green eyes that looked at him with desire, lust, and a strong passion that could be felt in the environment.

Nian took his partner's face and slowly approached his neck, passing his warm and wet tongue over Archer's skin, making him tense his body for the surprise, Nian took out his fangs to bite a little that area gearing that guttural growl almost filled a hoarse groan from the alpha's wolf beneath his body.

"Happy Valentine's day Archer…"

He whispered to him with a gasp of pleasure licking his own lips at the taste of his mate but that only caused Archer to lose his sanity.

"You must not play with fire Nian"

The older warned, taking him to his home like a sack of potatoes while the younger tried in vain to flee for having provoked him.
