A duel with Fyre

The place was still as it was before my supposed death.

"Seems like someone has been taken care of this place."

Aside from the trees that have become taller since the last time I came here, everything was just the same. It was as if someone were personally keeping it this way, for me.

That thought alone, made me smile.

"Why are you smiling to yourself, my queen?" Fyre circled his hand around my waist and drew me close to himself. He nibbled on my neck a bit before he placed his head on my shoulder.

"What's wrong? Don't you have demons to judge? Don't tell me they don't have any problem, today?"

"Staying in there since I woke up, made me feel like a caged bird. Who knows, it can be tiring being the king of hell."

"Why? Don't you know what you were signing up for when you decided on that?"

"I never decided on that. The post has always been mine. It's not as if I were given the choice to refuse.
