What in the world?!

"Now, we are lost," she muttered as she stared down at the streaming clean water behind her and up at her feet level were two big logs together as a bridge to a big rock. Why a rock? Shouldn't the logs lead to a place or so? But to a rock.

She flew her gaze at Kenny, the man just smiled at her and settled his stance right in front of her. "My Mona will always find her way but being a dummy, she wouldn't know," he shook his head and climbed the logs.

"Mr Ken," she outstretched her hands at him so he wouldn't fall but the man was walking confidently on the logs that couldn't even be reliable. "How sure are you that the logs are strong enough?" She asked as he watched his steps on the logs

"Just follow me, Mona,"

"To where? I don't see where you are going to except that big ro-ock of a thing." she blurted and the man glanced at her.

"Will you listen to me or not? Climb the logs and come to me," he ordered.

Mona looked down at the streaming water and at Mr Ken pleadingly, "What if I fall?" she asked.

The man rolled his eyes subconsciously and sternly gazed at her. "Did I fall?" He asked quietly.

"I won't, you called me a dummy when you promised not to," she crossed her arms and the man got fed up with her childish attitude.

"You once said you are Eighteen and you are acting this way?"

Mona eyed him, "Whatever, you called me a dummy."

Mr Ken stared at her for more than five minutes and said, "I'm sorry Mona, I will try, I won't call you a dummy anymore. Will you climb the log now?" He was already standing in front of the rock.

Mona smiled and looked down again, "I won't fall right?"

"You won't," he shook his head as an assurance.

Mona climbed the logs only for them to shake and let some stones into the water. "Kenny," she called him with her shaky voice. The man just gathered himself and went closer to her, he took her hand and brought her with him to the rock.

Mona was still shaking but she had to regain herself, she took deep breaths and let them out slowly. "Mr Ken this is a rock," she pointed at it.

"There is always a way if you believe," he smiled at her and she stared at the rock.

Mona let down her shoulders and doubtfully stared at him, "Seriously, Mr Ken,"

He nodded with that smile on his face. "Close your eyes and think of a way through the stone, believe," he instructed her.

Mona sarcastically stared at him and then at the rock, she gesture questioningly to the rock and he nodded. "Alright if you say so," she stared at the water again and her lungs went shaky, she needed to leave these unreliable logs. Mona closed her eyes slowly and meditated on the rock.

"What do you see?" he asked.

"Just the rock."

"Go deeper then, imagine and believe," he told her. "Don't open your eyes."

"Okay, is this the gift you wanted to give me?"

"No, just concentrate Mona or else we'll be stuck here forever."

"Fo. . ."

"Don't open your eyes."

Mona was about to but when she was told sternly, she locked her eyes closed and faced the rock.

Mr Ken just continued to stare at her face, not that he couldn't open the door but he wanted the girl to, she found the portal so she should open it too. Anyone could actually open the door but because everyone lacks faith they couldn't.

He looked at her eyes and then her cheeks, the urge to stroke them fell on him but he restrained himself. And then her lips, seriously, he was admiring this little girl. He chuckled at himself and removed his gaze to see that her hand was placed flat on the rock and the rock went open. "Don't open your eyes, Mona," he told her, pushing his hand around her waist.

"Where are we going?" she asked when he pushed her gently to walk into the portal.

"You've opened the door," he told her and then pushed her in with himself.

When Mona opened her eyes, it was so dark that she couldn't see a thing, the door had closed already. While Mr Ken could see everywhere and before she couldn't panic, he circled her waist with his hand and told her that her eyes were still closed which was why she couldn't see a thing.

"But my eyelids are parted," she said.

The man only sighed and took her forward, "Where are we going?"

"To the place I left the gift I am to give you," he told her, the girl smiled and followed his steps. It took too long before she finally saw a touch of light, they went further and the light went brighter and brighter until it was so blinding.

When Mona beheld the place, her jaw dropped to the ground. What in the world?! Her eyes fell on the streaming water that was flushing from a big huge rock or maybe a mountain. The water looked like milk so, she licked her lips.

The whole place wasn't a forest or a bush or a garden. The whole place had weird trees and the grass was sparkling like they were sprinkled with pixie dust. Mona closed her mouth with both her hands and her eyes widened. "Mr Ken," she muttered as the whole place sparkled in her eyes. "So magic is real?" she asked herself.

Suddenly, she felt water flowing through her legs and when she looked at it, Mr Ken spoke. "Tell it to go away if you don't want it," he uttered and went forward into the place.

Astonished, she stared at him and then at the water. "Go away," she said gently and the water dried up. "What?!" she screamed only for her to receive her voice back. Her voice was echoed! My God! Was this heaven?

She ran to Mr Ken who was already walking on the grass barefooted.

"Take off your sandals Mona, the grass will hurt you if you hurt them."

"Huh?!" She looked at the grasses and saw them dancing, but the breeze wasn't that much, why were they dancing? She took her sandals off and stepped gently on the grass.
