Fruits

The grasses tickled her feet and she chuckled excitingly before jumping to Mr Ken who was staring at her occasionally as he surveyed the tree. Actually, he was talking to the place.

"Is this the gift?" She asked holding his arm.

With a blank expression, he replied. "Yes, Mona. Do you like it?" He asked and she jumped in exhilaration as she scrutinized the place. His hand was moving as she bounced on the grass. The place was looking so magical.

"I love it, Mr Ken. Thank you, thank you so much. I love you!" She let go of his hand and fell to the ground to feel the grass.

Then, she had a great view of the sky. Surprisingly, the place was so bright but there wasn't any sun in the sky. She suddenly had her eyebrows ceased as she search the sun but after elongating her neck and rolling over on the grass, she found none and stood up to approach Mr Ken with her eyes away.

She planned to hold his arm but with her gaze still searching for the sun, she held the air instead and realized that Mr Ken wasn't standing there anymore.

She saw him touching almost all the trees as he went close to the falling water that looked like milk.

When she looked around, she noticed that the west and east were a long way ahead. She went closer to Mr Ken and asked. "Why isn't there a sun?"

Mr Ken didn't look at her. "Because this place isn't Earth," he replied.

"Huh?" She was surprised. "Are we in heaven or the garden of Eden?" She asked.

Mr Ken had to glance at her, "no Mona, this place isn't. . ." He laughed. "We are not in heaven, only spirits are allowed in heaven so it's when someone is dead that the person is allowed to see heaven." He told her.

"Oh," she nodded her head thoughtfully and looked around again.

'She said she loves you, Kenny, you never mentioned to us that you are married' the place spoke in his head.

'Come on, she just said it, she doesn't mean it' Kenny replied.

'How many times have I said you shouldn't lie to me when I can clearly see the truth?' said the place. 'You know deep down inside you that she loves you sincerely'

Kenny placed his hand on a tree as if he was communicating with it. He sighed. 'I know what she feels for me and it's damn sincere'

'Tell me you are also in love with her. I can see how you stare at her'

'She's sexy' Kenny glanced at Mona who was still surveying the whole place.

And as if sensing his gaze, she asked, "What's the name of this place?"

Kenny answered, "It doesn't have a name because people don't come here. You are the first person I've ever brought to this place."

Mona's mind did some calculations and she lifted her brows. "How did you know so much and the existence of this place?"

Kenny looked away. "Someday, I'll tell you," He gave his response.

"Why not now?"

"Because it isn't the right time,"

Mona nodded and looked away. Why doesn't he want to share everything at once? Always keeps me in suspense. She frowned at him before touching the trees as he was doing.

'I noticed that,' Kenny was being teased by the place. He could hear everything and was familiar with the place because he wasn't human.

'What?!'

'How you didn't want to disappoint her'

'You are always this annoying so it isn't surprising,' Kenny walked away and went deeper into the north. Mona followed his steps only to keep getting surprised.

'I'm annoying because I always blurt out the truth'

'The truth is that I just find the black girl attractive,'

'Then why did you bring her here? She's the first-ever since you renew your body'

'Stop blabbing!' He scolded the place in his mind.

Then, he looked behind him to check on Mona only to see her trying to pluck a fruit from a tall tree. He watched her as she tried, believing she wouldn't reach that high even if she jumped but the tree went lower for her. She didn't notice, she just took the fruit and smiled at it. Her stomach growled as she was so starving!

Besides, the fruit looked so clean so she took a bite before Mr Ken could stop her. "You shouldn't have eaten that," he went back to her.

She glanced at him. "Why? Is it forbidden?" She was laughing.

"No, you'll just keep laughing," he told her and she went on laughing like a lunatic.

"B-hahaha, but I was hahahaha. I was hungry, hahahaha," her stomach began to hurt.

Kenny smiled tiredly and turned around, walking away. Mona laughingly followed him. "What hahaha what am I going to do Mr Ken! Hahaha, I can't stop and my hahahaha hahahaha, it hurts," she grimaced her face but it was hidden as she was stupidly laughing.

Mr Ken just took fruit from his right and tossed it her way. Without waiting for permission, after catching it. She took a bite and another before chewing.

Hearing her teeth crush the fruit he looked behind him and laughed. "You shouldn't eat that too," he teased her.

"Why? I've stopped laughing anyway," she uttered and sneezed.

"That's the effect, you should have waited for me." He played with her.

"Why didn't you give aa-shoo, give the right one?" She sneezed again and again and continually causing her to lose her breath and her face went swollen. Kenny immediately went to the tree close to the water and gave her another fruit to eat. She shook her head.

"This won't hurt," he told her and she ate it, soon the sneezing stopped and she wiped her tears that were caused by sneezing.

"I hate you!" She yelled.

"You hate yourself, Mona," he said quietly and walked away.

'I told you she didn't mean it when she said she loves me earlier' he spoke to the place.

'You annoyed her, why did you give her the wrong fruit?'

'Just. . .just. . .' he glanced at her to see her sitting on the grass and touching the flower there is.

'You find her cute?'

'She is cute' Kenny admitted. 'Mona is hungry'

'Then feed her. There are enough fruits to eat and I know you only came here to take some fruits with you' In his mind the forest spoke and he smiled before grabbing three fruits from a weird-looking tree.
