When Leah opened her eyes for the second time, she felt much better and surprisingly found out that she was not on the couch but in her bed.
What was more surprising? That Aiden was nowhere to be found. Like he had left.
He had left. She found that after checking every nook and corner of the house.
Disappointment felt heavy in her heart. A feeling weighed itself in her heart, making her mood dampen. She had expected him to be here when she had woken up only to find him long on.
"But isn't that right?" She murmured to herself, lying in the bed again. "It would be weird and inappropriate to find him sleeping in the same bed as me."
Nobody would want that.
She did. Deep inside she did.
It was like a feeling that long to be beside him inside her. Like how she felt last night, cuddled up against him. She even fell asleep on his shoulder.
