Mother for a day

"Two grown ups bullying a small cute kid, Tsk isn't this truly ugly?" A young girls voice rang out just beside Nian Yun ear

"Who are you?" Nian Yun looked at the lady that had stopped her hand, she felt a little annoyed cause the lady had stopped her and had also touched her, she never liked being touched by wretched people. People that weren't in the same caliber or status with her.

Although the girl was dressed casually, compared to her she would really look wretched since Nian Yun had put on a very sophisticated outfit, even her face had layers of flashy make up that looked a little too much and out of place, this was the reason the kid had called her ugly.

"Me? You don't have to mind me, I'm just a passerby" Yu Xiao yan replied playfully with a goofy smile on her face, she had just come out of the restaurant nearby and was on her way home when she happened to see what was going on as she passed by.

She recognized the two ladies Su Quiyue and Nian Yun as actresses from spring season entertainment, Fei Hong had given her a run down of the artists in the company so she had a vague remembrance of most of them, Su Quiyue was an A-list actress so she was quite popular while Nian Yun entered the company not too long and immediately became a famous B-list actress as she had become friends with Su Quiyue.

"Then why are you intruding?" Su Quiyue stepped forward towards her

"I am? Well I'm sorry" she apologized but didn't show any intention of leaving, she looked at how the kid stared at her with a serious look and almost laughed at how cute he was looking

"You can't be his mother right?" Su Quiyue looked suspiciously at the girl, she didn't look like she had given birth but Su Quiyue inexplicably felt that this two were mother and son.

"I'm not then are you?" Yu Xiao yan asked back.

"Impossible! There's no way sis Quiyue would have such a foul mouthed kid" Nian Yun exclaimed, she had a disgusted look on her face as she spoke.

"It's quite possible since she has a brainless friend" she folded her hand in front of her chest as she replied 

"You!... Ha! now that I look at it, you guys do really fit to be mother and child cause you're both unreasonable, rude and foul mouthed" Nian Yun roared at Yu Xiao yan.

"and now that I look at it, your stupidity is the cause of your ugliness" She would never had bothered herself with these people but since they had stooped so low to insult a child just to earn praises then she'll show them what real insult is!

"You_how dare you!"

"I was only trying to educate you but tsk see how you're acting, well since my lecture isn't welcomed I'll be responsible and take my leave" she said her piece and left together with the kid, first he didn't want to go with her but later reluctantly followed her.

"Little guy I've told you already, you don't have to follow me anymore. Go home!" She turned to look at the small kid still following her. After they left that shop she told him to go home but instead he kept following her. For someone who was reluctant to follow her at first it was funny to see him follow her relentlessly now.

"I'm not a guy, I'm a girl!" The little kid replied

'is everyone blind? Why do they think I'm a guy, I'm clearly a girl alright!' Her expressionless face showed a frown as she thought.

"Huh? Really?" She was shocked to hear that the little kid dressed in a male tuxedo with his bangs almost covering his eyes was actually a girl.

The kid nodded in response

"Fine it seems you're lost so I'll be your mother for a day until we find your parents okay?" Yu Xiao yan relented when she found out the kid was a girl, there was no way she would let a little girl roam around the streets on her own.

"Ok then let's go look for them" she held the child's hand and Flagged down a taxi, then gave the direction the child had said to the driver.

Meanwhile in the meeting room of the Ye corporation, the atmosphere was frostier than winter. The meeting was going fine until a certain cry baby barged in with bad news.

Everybody dropped their head and held their breath wishing they could become invisible, The frost seemed to be emanating out of the man sitting in front of the room.

"I'm listening" his voice rang out in the room, it sounded like the devil was asking for their souls.

"Um bro...bro um they still haven't found lingling" Ye weiyang lowered his head as he reported to Ye haoran, He couldn't bare to look at his face because he could imagine how scary he looked all kudos to the stupid sister of his, not only did she bring lingling out without permission but she had also lost the child . Everybody knew how precious Ye meiling was to their brother but yet she was so careless!

'If she was seeking death why didn't she just go and die on her own why must she drag him into it Ahh! So annoying!' Ye weiyang thought.

"but they're searching all the shops around that area"

"I'm sorry i...I didn't mean to lose lingling" the girl kneeling on the floor tried very hard not to cry but still her tears flowed non-stop.

Ye haoran looked at the girl pitiful expression but felt even more angry, this was not the first time she had put lingling life in danger and for a very stupid reason at that, if she wasn't a girl he would have beaten her into a pulp already

He pinched the space between his brows trying to suppress his anger.

"Keep searching, check the back surveillance of that shop maybe lingling left through the back door also...alert the police incase she has been kidnapped" He managed to say the last part after much difficulty, his greatest fear was that past incidence will repeat itself.

"Boss somebody knows you!"

Ring!!

His phone screen lit up, his phone was still connected to the big screen so everyone saw the call from an unknown number, as they stared at the unknown number calling, they couldn't help but imagine it might be from the kidnappers since there were very few people that could call Ye haoran direct line.
