Bound

"Ireti, do you believe that Wura is making the right choice?" asked Lawrence as he looked at Ireti who was making their bed.

"Lawrence, you have to realize that she had made her choice, and our duty as her parents is just to support her" said Ireti.

Even though she did feel like things were moving a bit too fast, she did not want Wura to have everything handed to her on a silver platter, she did not want to out rightly come out and tell Wura that she should reject the Prince's engagement. No she wanted Wura to use her wits.

It might seem like she did not care for her daughter, but that was far from the truth, she truly did worry about her, a lot, it was just a mother's instinct.

"Lawrence do not worry, Wura will be alright" said Ireti as she walked over to Lawrence and she smiled at him.

"You do not want more Grey hairs now do you?" she asked as she laughed and she touched his brown hair that was started to become Grey.

"Of course not" said Lawrence.

"Did we not promise to stay together and grow grey hairs together?" asked Lawrence

"And as far I see, I cannot spot a single grey hair on your head" said Lawrence as he laughed and he played with Ireti's hair.

"I hope you keep on waiting for my Grey hairs Lawrence, because you will not find them" said Ireti as she laughed.

"I love you" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"And I want you to stop worrying" said Ireti as she laughed.

"Alright my dear, I will not worry anymore" said Lawrence.

"Hmm there is something important that I want to discuss with you" said Lawrence.

"What is it Lawrence?" asked Ireti.

"When do you think it would be the best time to return to the plains?" asked Lawrence.

"We did cut or rest short due to the matter on ground" said Lawrence.

"Oh well, we cannot possibly leave no, there are still many matters that are left unresolved" said Ireti.

"For one we have the issue of Wura's wedding" said Ireti.

"Because I am very sure that the prince is eager to marry her" said Ireti.

"You know my dear, I never once thought of the day that we would say Wura's Wedding" said Lawrence.

"It was bound to happen one day Lawrence" said Ireti as she laughed.

"Yes, I know, but it was not supposed to happen this soon" said Lawrence.

"Oh Lawrence, you really are soft" said Ireti as she laughed at him.

"And is that not a good thing?" asked Lawrence.

"How else would I have been able to win your heart?" he asked as he winked at her with a smug smile.

"Do not become too proud of yourself Lawrence" said Ireti as she laughed.

"Oh I already am my dear" said Lawrence as he laughed, and Ireti scoffed at him, he could be so childish at times.
