All this

"So I heard that you are getting married to the Prince" said Richard as the placed his book on the small stool and he looked at Wura.

"Gossip really does travel far in this house of ours does it not?" asked Wura as she laughed and she turned to look back at Richard.

She had come to the library of the house to find a certain book she was seeking for, and she just happened to find Richard here, he was sitting on one of the armchairs, he seemed to be busy reading something, so Wura did not disturb him, and she went ahead to look for what she was searching for.

"Wura" called Richard as he looked at her.

"Uncle you do not have to worry" said Wura as she smiled at him.

"Who said anything about me worrying about you?" asked Richard as he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Right Uncle, you do not have to pretend that you do not care Uncle, I know that you do" said Wura as she laughed, she found it funny that her uncle always like to act like he did not actually care for anyone, but his actions always said otherwise, and they gave him away.

"I do not want you to get hurt" said Richard.

"Who said that I ever will Uncle?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"And what makes you so sure that you will not be hurt?" asked Richard.

Wura was at a loss for words, Richard was right, what actually made her have so much confidence that everything would be okay?? Was it that she trusted the Prince?? No far from it, she did not like anything about him.

Okay wait she did like his smile, it was bright, but that was besides the point, she accused him of being a womanizer and yet she was running straight to him, what made her so sure that he would be so dedicated to her??

"Your silence speaks little of your confidence" said Richard as he snapped Wura out of her thoughts.

"Uncle I..." said Wura.

"Silence in the midst of adversary shows weakness" said Richard.

"Even when you have nothing to say to back up your opinion always say something, because when you do not, people will take you for a fool" said Richard.

"Uncle you once said that even a fool is counted wise when he keeps silent, and now you tell me that you always have to say something even when you have nothing to say" said Wura.

"It is your duty to determine which one you should use in a situation Wura" replied Richard.

"Think my niece, think" said Richard.

"The Lord did not give you such a big brain, and beautiful hair for you to put it to waste" said Richard.

"My niece, I know that you are intelligent, and with you getting married, you need to start to think, you need to plan ahead before taking any step" said Richard.

"And especially in the world of man, where deceit, greed and envy strive" said Richard.

"Uncle I do not understand why you are telling me all this, all of a sudden??" asked Wura.

"Do not tell me that it has not crossed your mind my dear niece" said Richard.

"You are not engaged to just anyone, you are engaged to the Prince, you will soon be a Princess, and with that title comes great responsibility" said Richard.

Richard words dawned on her, she had been so dumb, she had forgotten that she was not dealing with a mere man, but the Prince, the only Prince, and Crowned Prince of the entire Kingdom of Wyverdale.

And yet here she being rude to him, and all he would do was smile at her or overlook her rudeness. Wura never had the intention to become Princess, she found it a hefty price to pay, to be forever loyal to the Kingdom.

It was right about now that Wura was having cold feet, she wondered what entered into her that made her jump to accept the Prince's offer.

"Wura please do not tell me that you did not think your decision through well enough, and you are starting to regret it right this moment" said Richard.

"Okay Uncle, I will not tell you that" said Wura as she smiled.

"Wura??" called Richard as he sighed.

"Okay Uncle, you are right, I did not think my decision through" said Wura.

"But do not worry Uncle, I am not going to change my mind, my decision still stands, I was the one that agreed to the engagement and I will keep my word" said Wura, she encouraged herself, she was not going to back down, or else what kind of woman did that make her?

"Is your father aware of this?" asked Richard.

"Yes, yes he is, and he has said that he would support me no matter my decision" said Wura.

"*Sigh* Typical Lawrence" said Richard as he sighed, Lawrence was just too weak, if Wura was his daughter he would make sure to not let her take such a decision, he would lay down his authority with an iron fist.

Well who was he to judge?? his first child was still on its way.

"Uncle father is not weak, he cared for me, and the way he shows his care if by showing his support by letting me make my own decisions" said Wura.

"I am sure that if my little cousin was in the same situation as me, you would speak differently" said Wura.

"Firstly Wura, my future son or daughter, will not happen to find themselves in the same situation as you, because before such a thing can even think of happening, I will turn it down" said Richard.

"Oh Uncle" said Wura.

"Uncle you know on a second note, I believe that Aunt would have a different opinion" said Wura as she winked and smiled, Wura had just reminded him that he had a wife, no who was he trying to fool, he could never forget someone like Tessa, she was just too memorable.

"Uncle we can discuss this later, but for now, I have found what I am looking for" said Wura as she picked up a book.

"See you later Uncle" said Wura as she smiled, and she walked away leaving Richard alone.

This little niece of his was not so little anymore, she could not even walk out on him, that made Richard shake his head.
