I am aware

"Oh Kristen, it is good that I met you here" said Nora as she stopped as she caught sight of a brown-haired girl with brown eyes.

"Yes, I was just on my way to the kitchen" said the maid named Kristen.

"Alright, but I need his highness's coat to be hung back in his closet, his highness, gave his coat to the princess earlier" said Nora as she handed the coat over to Kristen.

"Well alright then, I will do so" said Kristen.

"I had just finished tidying up his room before I met you here" said Kristen.

"Well I must be going now" said Nora.

"Well alright the Nora, I shall see you later" said Kristen as she smiled and Nora smiled at her as they both went in the opposite directions, Kristen went to the left in the direction of Liam's room, while Nora went to the right in the direction of the other Castle rooms.

"Ahh my lady, please forgive me, I did not see coming from that direction" said Nora as she stopped walking and she sighed in relief as she had almost bumped into lady Marli.

"That is alright Nora" said Lady Marli as she stepped back.

"But what are you doing in this part of the Castle?" asked Lady Marli as she looked at Nora.

"Ahh well my lady, the princess asked me to run some errands for her, and one of them was to return his highness's coat, which I have just carried out as I happened to meet Kristen on my way" said Nora as she explained quickly.

"Hmm… I see" said Lady Marli as she had thought that maybe Nora was just going about neglecting her duties.

"And where are you on your way to now?" asked Lady Marli.

"Because this surely is not the way to the Princess's quarters" said Lady Marli as she raised an eyebrow at Nora.

"Ahh well no my lady" said Nora as she shook her head.

"I was on my way to the guest quarters, because the princess asked me to call for her mother and Aunt" said Nora as she explained quickly.

"Is that so?" asked Lady Marli.

"Yes my lady, it is so" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"Oh well alright then, you may carry on your way" said Lady Marli.

"Thank you my lady" said Nora as she bowed and she left quickly.

"I wonder why that girl is always so fidgety?" asked Lady Marli to herself.

"Hmm" said Lady Marli as she shrugged her thoughts off and she continued on her way.

"You may enter" came Alaric's voice as he heard a knock on his office door.

"You called for me father?" asked Liam as he entered Alaric's office with a smile.

"Ahhh yes my boy, I did, please sit" said Alaric as he smiled and Liam sat down.

"Are you aware that Mero will be journeying to the east this evening?" asked Alaric as he smiled at Liam who was sitting right across him.

"Well yes Father, I am aware of such, he came to my office earlier to inform me of his plans" said Liam as he smiled.

"Alright that is good" said Alaric.

"The sooner he arrives at the east, the sooner we cane solve most of the major problems in the Kingdom" said Alaric.

"I recently received a complaint to my office from that of one of the blacksmiths, he says that he had been unable to work on anything, seeing as there is no iron for him to use to smelt and forge new tools" said Alaric as he sighed, this was a very great problem for the Kingdom.

"Well the blacksmith has to understand that we currently have no source of iron in the Kingdom at this time" said Liam.

"The only area in the Kingdom that had iron is the east, and they are not willing and ready to give it to use freely" said Liam.

"Which brings me to ask my boy, are you alright with Mero embarking on the journey alone?" asked Alaric.

"At least I would find it better and more easier to rest if he goes along with another, perhaps if Elihu or Zechariah went with him, I would be able to rest more at ease" said Alaric.

"I had also suggested that to him Father, but he had refused" said Liam.

"He prefers it if he went alone, he says that would lead to less mistakes, or less weight" said Liam as he knew the way Mero thought.

"Besides Father, I believe that you worry too much, Mero is more than capable" said Liam as he smiled.

"Oh my boy, I do not for once doubt the strength and valour of Mero, but the road to the east is very dangerous, it is full of traps, and the weather is now cold, it would snow more frequently and most of all Bandits roam around" said Alaric.

"And Mero is fully aware of all that father, but you should trust him, and let your mind be at ease" said Liam.

"He grew up in the east, he knows it like the back of his hand, which is why I do not doubt at all that he is the best person to represent us" said Liam.

"He speaks their language, and I am sure that he will be able to defend himself against any bandits" said Liam."

"And I do doubt that he would meet any bandits on the way" said Liam.

"The main reason he decided to embark on the journey in the evening is due to the weather and the usual evening snow, he believes that it would be too cold for any bandits to stay out and watch for any travellers" said Liam.

"Well I do agree with him, he does make a good point" said Alaric as he seemed to be thinking.

"Yes father, he does" said Liam.

"Which is why, believe me when I say that Mero is aware of what he is doing, and he had already carefully planned out every important detail" said Liam as he smiled, he could trust Mero with his life, Mero was like the brother he never had, which was why he trusted him, and whatever Mero had decided to do, then it only meant that it was the best decision that he could make.

"Alright my son, you have proven your point" said Alaric as he smiled.

"I learn from the best" said Liam as he smiled and Alaric and Alaric smiled right back at him.

"Which reminds me" said Alaric.

"How is everything with your new wife?" asked Alaric as he smiled, he was so overjoyed that his only son was now married to a very good woman, it put his mind at ease, because now he had one less thing to worry about, everything was already being put in place.

"Ahh well Father, everything is going well" said Liam as he smiled because it was not a lie at all, today, they had managed to have a conversation without any argument at all, they just spoke normally and naturally, and Liam liked that.

"Oh I am glad my boy, I truly am glad" said Alaric as he smiled he way very happy.

"You see now, in this new stage of both your lives, you have to make sure to strengthen the bond that you both have with each other" said Alaric as he smiled.

"It is time for you to even get closer than you were before" said Alaric.

"For you to go deep and search inside of each other's soul, mind and heart, for you to develop and unbreakable bond" said Alaric.

"Because you are now man and wife, you have become one soul, one body and one flesh" said Alaric.

"My boy, you have to make sure to carry your wife along" said Alaric.

"She is not just only your wife, but she is the princess too, and she will be future Queen as well, which is why now more than ever your bond must be strengthened" said Alaric as he smiled.

"Yes father" said Liam as he smiled and he nodded his head.

"You see my boy, the traits of a good husband are that he loves his wife as much as he own soul" said Alaric.

"So what you cannot do to yourself, you in that same manner cannot do unto her" said Alaric.

"You must treat her with love and care, you must be there for her at all times, you must tend to her, and most of all you should understand and listen to her, and in such way, her love for you would grow more and more for you each passing day" said Alaric.

"Yes father" said Liam as he smiled, he always took the words of his father to heart, and he always listened to them.

"Father, may I ask you a question?" asked Liam.

"Of course you may my boy" said Alaric as he smiled brightly.

"Father, is it possible for you to fall out of love with someone?" asked Liam.
