He is my husband

"Oh um my princess, before I forget" said Nora as she looked at Nora.

"I have called for your mother, and she said that she will be here soon" said Nora.

"Alright thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled.

"And as for your Aunt, my princess, your Uncle told me that she was sleeping" said Nora.

"Oh well that is alright" said Wura as she smiled, in the first instance Tessa was not supposed to be moving as much as she was, seeing the condition she was in.

"My Aunt does need her rest, especially now" said Wura as she smiled.

"My princess, is your Aunt with child?" asked Nora as she did not quite notice that when she had first saw Tessa, but she was sure that she was.

"Oh yes she is Nora, yes she is" said Wura as she smiled.

"That is a very joyous news" said Nora as she smiled.

"When is she due my princess… If I may ask?" said Nora.

"Well of course you may, and she is due in the summer" said Wura as she smiled, she could not wait to hold her little cousin, she had been waiting for long to do so.

"That is very close my lady" said Nora as she smiled.

"Yes it is" said Wura as she smiled and a in that moment there came a knock on her door.

"I will get it my lady" said Nora as she smiled.

"Alright" said Wura as she smiled and Nora went to open the door.

"Welcome my lady" said Nora as she bowed as she opened the door.

"Thank you" said Ireti as she smiled and she walked into Wura's room.

"E kabbo (Welcome)" said Wura as she smiled.

"Ase (Thank you)" said Ireti as she smiled at Wura, and Wura smiled back, she knew that her mother always liked her to greet her in her language.

"Um My Princess, my lady, I shall take my leave now, there are some things that I need to do" said Nora as she looked at Ireti and Wura.

"Alright Nora, you may go, I will see you later" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you my princess" said Nora as she bowed and she left the room.

"She seems very nice" said Ireti as she looked at Wura.

"Oh she is mother, she is very nice" said Wura as she sat down on her bed.

"Hmm alright" said Ireti.

"So what is it that you wanted to discuss with me??" asked Ireti as she sat down beside Wura.

"Well nothing very important mother, I just wanted to inform you that I asked his highness if you were allowed to prepare desert and he agreed" said Wura as she smiled.

"Well I am glad about that" said Ireti as she smiled.

"And so am I mother, so will you now please tell me what you will prepare for desert, I promise you that I will not tell anyone else" said Wura as she smiled.

"Well No Wura, I am not telling you at all" said Ireti seriously.

"Alright mother, I did try" said Wura as she laughed, she had tried her luck, but she knew that her mother would not tell her anything,

"So how are you doing Wura?" asked Ireti as she looked at Wura.

"How is everything?" asked Ireti.

"Ah… well…" said Wura as she did not expect her mother to ask her a question like this, well the truth was she was not doing fine at all, and everything was not fine, she just got married, and yet she could not still believe it, it felt to weird to her.

"Everything is fine mother" said Wura as she smiled, it was not like she wanted to lie to her mother, but her mother was always so serious, so unapproachable that Wura did not think she could confide in her, besides, she knew what her mother would say, her mother would say that she should be strong.

"Hmm, alright" said Ireti as she said nothing more, Wura was no longer a child, and she could as well take care of herself, she was a grown woman after all, and she was also now a married woman as well.

"And how does your husband treat you?" asked Ireti as she was doing her duty as a mother, and that was to look after and take care of the well-being of her child, being married was not a joking matter at all, it was a very serious matter.

Marriage was an unbreakable bond, it was till death do them part, and it was for the mature in heart, and not just anyone.

"Well mother, he treats me well, we get along very nicely" said Wura as she smiled as she remembered the conversation she and Liam had earlier, and even though she did not want to admit it, she did enjoy speaking to him, when they did not argue, Liam was actually not such a bad person to talk to.

"You seem to like him very much do you not?" asked Ireti as she looked at Wura suspiciously.

"He is my husband is he not?" asked Wura as she looked at her mother and she smiled.

"That is a good answer" said Ireti to herself.

"You are right about that" said Ireti and Wura smiled, by now, she had known her mother, and she also knew the things her mother wanted to hear, her mother always wanted her to be in control of the situation, that was just the kind of woman that she was, she was a woman of principle, and she never wanted to hear that you were struggling at all.

As a little girl, Wura always thought that maybe her mother did not love her, because she was always to serious and cold, but as Wura grew up, she realized that was just the kind of woman her mother was, and she was only that way because she wanted the best for her.

"Mother shall I braid your hair for you?" asked Wura as she smiled as she noticed that her mother's hair was left in its natural state, her dark black hair was tied in a bun.

"Thank you Wura, but no, not now, I would like to leave my hair like this for a while" said Ireti

"Alright mother" said Wura as she smiled.

"Mother, do you happen to know where Father is?" asked Wura.

"Well yes, I saw him earlier, he is currently in one of the Castle offices, he said that he had some records to look at" said Ireti as she seemed to be thinking.

"Oh alright then" said Wura.

"Why do you ask Wura?" asked Ireti as she looked at Wura.

"Ahh well Mother, I would like to speak to him" said Wura.

"Well you know he always has time for you, so you might as well go to him" said Ireti, she was not jealous of Wura's and Lawrence's close relationship at all, there was always the favourite parent in the household, and Ireti was not jealous that Lawrence was the one.

"Thank you mother" said Wura as she smiled.

"But I do not want to leave you all alone" said Wura as she frowned, she did not want to leave her mother in her room with nothing to do at all.

"Well that is no problem at all, I was on my way to the kitchen right about now, I need to check if the ingredients I require are available" said Ireti.

"Oh alright then Mother" said Wura as she smiled and In that moment Nora entered the room.

"Oh Nora, you have returned just in time, I was about to call for you" said Wura as she smiled.

"Oh?? Is that so my princess?" asked Nora as she was surprised, she was going to wash Wura's clothes and she had come to take them out for washing.

"Yes, I need you to please escort my mother to the kitchen, she is going to prepare desert for dinner" said Wura as she smiled.

"Oh Umm… alright my princess" said Nora as she was surprised, she did not think that Ireti would want to do such, as far as she knew Duchesses left the cooking to the chefs, they did not like to get their hands dirty at all, and yet Wura's mother was doing the exact opposite, which was a shock to her.

The princess's family were very weird, they were not like the other Duke and Duchess Families at all.

"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled at Nora happily.

"Mother, you can go along with Nora, she will escort you" said Wura as she turned to look at Ireti and she smiled sweetly.

"Alright then" said Ireti as she stood up.

"Goodbye Mother" said Wura as she smiled.

"Goodbye Wura" said Ireti.

"Right this way my lady" said Nora as she led the way as she bowed and Ireti followed after her.
