Feel any different

"Good Morrow, to the newly wedded husband" came Zuph's cheerful voice as he laughed and he entered Liam's office while Zechariah, Luc and Elihu followed behind him happily.

"I was not aware that you all were coming here" said Liam as he looked up from his desk and he smiled.

"Well that is because we wanted to surprise you" said Luc as he laughed as the all sat down.

"I can see that surprise" said Liam as he laughed.

"So tell us Liam, how is being a husband??" asked Luc as he laughed.

"Do you feel any different??" asked Zuph as he laughed and Elihu scoffed as everyone turned to look at him and they all just ignored him.

"Well I feel the same as I was before, I am still the same person" said Liam as he smiled.

"Oh, that is a lie, there must be something you are not telling us, of course you have changed, I hear that married men are different from the rest of us" said Luc as he laughed.

"Well I believe that I just do not feel anything different, today is just another day" said Liam as he smiled, he truly felt nothing at all, he did not feel any different at all, to him, it did not really feel like he and Wura were married at all.

"Oh what a shame" said Zuph as he laughed.

"We have been telling this one that it is his turn to get married as well" said Luc as he laughed and he pointed to Zechariah.

"You are not serious at all" said Zechariah as he laughed, marriage was a serious matter, he could not just go out and propose to any maiden he happened to see.

"Oh I do believe that they are right Zechariah" said Liam as he looked at Zechariah and he laughed.

"You are not getting any younger" said Liam as he laughed.

"We are of the same age" said Zechariah as he laughed and he shook his head, these men of his would never leave him alone, they were going to tease him.

"No I do believe that I am now older, seeing as I am married now" said Liam as he laughed.

"Oh Liam, what a nice joke" said Zechariah as he laughed, why had they all decided to pick on him this morning.

"Enough of that, so Liam how was your wedding night??" asked Zuph as he smiled.

"Probably horrible, because that woman is a witch" said Elihu to himself, and as if Liam knew what he was thinking, he turned to look at him and Elihu panicked and smiled sheepishly.

"Well it was like most wedding nights" said Liam as he smiled and he said nothing more, he laughed to himself internally, he had spent his wedding night in this same office working, and he did not seem to mind at all.

"Ah… I see, I see, you do not want to give out much detail hmm??" asked Luc as he winked and Liam laughed.

"Well anyway, how did you like the wedding gift from all of us?" asked Zuph as he laughed as he looked at Liam.

"I could not believe you guys got me something… something like that" said Liam as he shook his head and he laughed, they were all jokers.

"Oh but It is really a heartfelt gift from all of us" said Luc as he laughed.

"The mere fact that you got me a ram's horse for a gift, is truly funny" said Liam as he laughed and he shook his head.

"Well we all know how much you dislike straining your voice when commanding the troops, so it will be more easier now with the ram's horn, you can just blow on it, and you will have everyone's full attention" said Zechariah as he laughed.

"I cannot imagine myself blowing on that thing" said Liam as he laughed, this was just a huge joke, of all the things they could have gifted to him, it had to have been a ram's horn??

"Ahhh well trust us, you will use it one of these days" said Luc as he laughed.

"I am very sure that Mero was not a part of all this" said Liam as he laughed, he knew Mero would not have time for this nonsense, he would not have agreed to any of this at all, in fact, he would have told them not to do such nonsense.

"Oh you know Mero is Liam" said Luc as he laughed.

"He would never be a part of this, even if we begged him to, he considers this all nonsense" said Zuph as he laughed.

"And that is because it is" said Liam as he laughed, he agreed with Mero, he would not have done any of this at all, he considered it all an utter waste of time.

"Speaking of Mero, has he informed you that he will be going to the east this evening??" asked Zechariah.

"Well yes he had, I saw him earlier in the day" said Liam.

"He has said that he would prefer to go alone" said Liam.

"I still believe that at least one of us need to go with him, two are better than one after all" said Zuph seriously.

"But you do know how Mero is Zuph, he would rather go alone, for the sake of his own safety, and that of others as well" said Liam because as much as he agreed with Zuph, Mero was also right in his own way.

"Well it should be a three day journey to the east, and another three day journey back, especially with the weather now" said Zechariah.

"I worry, seeing as the road to the east is overrun with bandits" said Elihu as he spoke up.

"We do know that the bandits target official members of the Kingdom, and they loot and steal from the rich, that is mostly what they are after… money" said Liam.

"And we all know that Mero has none of that" said Luc as he laughed.

"Let him catch you saying such, and we will see what happens to you next" said Zechariah as he laughed.

"So how is the Kingdom's current iron problem?" asked Zuph as he looked at Liam.

"*Sigh*, well bad, the blacksmiths are complaining, they cannot make a living at all since Iron is their main metal that they work with" said Liam as he sighed, the problem was seriously deteriorating, and it worried Liam every single day.

"That is bad, very bad" said Zechariah.

"I am aware of that, which is why we need to seal the treaty with the east" said Liam.

"But at the same time, we need to be careful, if they know that we desperately need the iron that they have, they will make unnecessary demands, we need to express our need for iron, but not as much as they would see that we truly cannot function as a kingdom without it" said Liam.

Ruling a Kingdom was a very hard duty, it was not easy at all, there were many things that needed to be taken into consideration, not everything could go on perfect, there would be ups and downs, and this was just one of the downs.

"I really do not understand why the East believes that we want to enslave them??" asked Zuph as he sighed and he shook his head.

"They were the ones who first waged war against us, and now that their Kingdom is captured, they are bent on not conforming at all" said Luc.

"That is just how people are, they never want to change, even though the change is for the better" said Zechariah as he shook his head.

"I do agree with you on that Zechariah, I do agree" said Liam as he seemed to be thinking.

"My Princess, I have returned" said Nora as she walked into Wura's room after she had escorted Ireti to the kitchen.

"Oh welcome back Nora" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you my princess," said Nora as she smiled, she liked how Wura was always happy to see her.

"Nora, I would like to go and see my father, and my mother has said that he is in one of the offices, going through some records" said Wura.

"Alright my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"Would you happen to know the office he might be in?" asked Wura.

"Ahh well my princess, since you mentioned that he would be looking at some records, he might be in the records office" said Nora a she seemed to be thinking.

"Oh well alright, can you take me there??" asked Wura.

"Of course my princess" said Nora as she smiled.

"Alright then, let us go" said Wura as she smiled as she got out of her bed and she stood up to her feet.

"Please follow me my princess" said Nora as she smiled and Wura smiled at her as they left her room.
