Mistaken

"You are with child my princess" repeated the Physician once again with a smile as Wura looked at him in shock and she turned to look at everyone else who was staring at her.

"Oh what a glorious news" said Alaric as he smiled very brightly as the worried look on his face was replaced with Joy.

"I am going to be a grandfather, my boy I am going to be a grandfather" said Alaric as he looked at Liam as he smiled and he felt like jumping around, this was a great news to him, a very great news.

"This is great news my princess" said Nora as the look of concern on her face was replaced with one of happiness and Joy, just like Alaric she was overjoyed with the news, her princess was going to be a mother, this was happy news, very happy news.

"My King, my prince, please accept my congratulations" said the Physician as he turned to look at Alaric and Liam as he smiled as he bowed.

"Wait, wait" said Wura as she finally snapped back to her senses, and everyone turned to look at her.

"This is wrong, this is impossible" said Wura.

"I am not with child, I cannot be" said Wura as there was assurance in her tone, she was serious, there was no way in this world that she could be pregnant.

She and Liam had not done anything at all, nothing… she was still a virgin, she had not laid with any man in her entire eighteen years of living, so it was impossible for her to be pregnant, it was impossible.

"My princess, you must be mistaken, all the signs point to you being with child" said the Physician as he smiled, this was normal, some maidens did not handle the news that they were going to be mothers very gently, it seemed impossible and the princess was going through that right now.

"I am sorry to say, but she is correct" said Liam as he stepped in as he could see Wura was struggling, she looked devasted because the physician was truly mistaken, he and Wura had not done anything, and he was sure that she would never go behind his back, he was sure that she did not have a lover, so the physician was mistaken.

"What do you mean my boy?" asked Alaric as he turned to look at Liam, and Wura as well as everyone else turned to look at him.

"Wura cannot be with child" said Liam.

"We have not been together in a while, seeing as I have been busy" said Liam as he explained.

"So I am sorry to say, but you are mistaken" said Liam as he looked at the physician, and Wura sighed in relief, she did not know what she would have done, or what she would have said if Liam had not stepped in, this was like a dream to her, she was not with child at all.

"Ahh I see" said Alaric as he could not hide the tone of disappointment in his voice, he could not lie that he was excited at the thought of being a grandfather.

"Oh please forgive my your highnesses, these silly mistakes happen" said the Physician as he laughed, symptoms of being with child often correlated with some other illnesses.

"That is alright, these mistakes happen" said Alaric as he laughed, anyone could easily be tricked.

Wura sighed a sigh of relief as the air was cleared up, her… carrying a child?? That was just too much, Wura turned to look at Liam and she mouthed the words "Thank you" to him and he nodded at her, he had done it for himself as well, he did not want to have to lie to his father and put his hopes all high.

"My princess, please forgive me for the misunderstanding" said the Physician as he turned to look at Wura and he smiled at her.

"It is alright, mistakes are bound to happen" said Wura as she smiled and she just looked relieved.

"My princess, have you felt overwhelmed recently?" asked the Physician.

Wura looked at Liam, and then she looked back at the Physician.

"Well yes… a bit" said Wura as she replied honestly.

"And have you been feeling unnecessary tiredness and fatigue?" he asked.

"Only a little" said Wura.

"Well my princess, those are possible symptoms of stress, that could have triggered your uncontrolled sneezing" he said.

"I see" said Wura as she had never been stressed before, she was always happy, but she guessed that she was not happy with all the things that were going on around her, especially with Liam.

"Yes my princess, you need to rest more, and do something relaxing, clear your mind, and you will be alright" he said.

"Thank you, I will" said Wura as she smiled, she felt embarrassed, everyone was here, because they were all worried about her, after her sudden display, she had never cried like that before.

"My King, I shall take my leave now" said the Physician as he turned to look at Alaric.

"That is alright, let me walk you out" said Alaric as he smiled and he followed the physician out.

"Nora, please escort the princess back to her room" said Liam as he turned to look at Nora.

"Yes your highness" said Nora as she bowed and she turned to look at Wura.

"My princess, please follow me to your room" said Nora.

"Alright" said Wura as she followed after Nora and she did not look at Liam at all, she was just still embarrassed with everything that had happened this evening.

"*Sigh*" said Wura as she fell flat on her bed once she and Nora reached her bedroom.

"My princess… I have a question" said Nora as she had something that was bothering her.

"Go ahead Nora" said Wura as she closed her eyes and she breathed in deeply as she exhaled, she needed to relax after what happened this evening.

"My princess…" said Nora as she was hesitant at first, but then she remembered that Wura had asked her to be free with her.

"My princess, how were you so sure that you were not with child??" asked Nora as she finally said what was on her mind, it had been bothering her, the way Wura quickly rejected the thought that she was with child surprised her, most women would have been happy to hear such news, but Wura did not seem to be happy at all, she denied the thought immediately.

"Ahh…" said Wura as she opened her eyes, she did know that Nora was asking a valuable question after all, it was very valuable, and she had every right to ask this question.

"Well Nora, I and his highness have not been together in a while" replied Wura as she rose up from her bed and she looked at Nora.

Nora nodded, that was true, she was with Wura all day every day, and she had not seen Liam and Wura together, in fact, she doubted if they were together like husband and wife were supposed to be, only for that one time on their wedding night.

"And well the other reason I was so sure…" said Wura as she paused.

"I will tell you that later… but for now I just want to rest" said Wura as she smile.

"Alright my princess" said Nora as she nodded her head, if Wura said that she would tell her later, then she would tell her later.

"My princess, when is your birthday?" asked Nora as she tried to lighten the mood, she could tell that Wura was very tired today.

"Ahh" said Wura as she laughed.

"Well in a few months from now" said Wura as she laughed and she closed her eyes, she had so many good memories of her birthdays with her family, there would always be joy, food and most of all laughter.

"Ahh I see my princess" said Nora as she smiled.

"Yes, and when is your birthday Nora?" asked Wura as she smiled and she opened her eyes.

"My princess, my Birthday had already passed" said Nora as she laughed.

"Aww what a shame, you have to make sure to remind me when your birthday is near" said Wura as she smiled.

"I will make sure to do so my princess" said Nora as she smiled and she walked to Wura as she sat on her bed to help her remove the lace on her dress.

"Great" said Wura as she smiled.

"Nora, you may go now, I am tired now" said Wura as she yawned.

"Alright my princess, please have a goodnight" said Nora as she smiled.

"I will, and the same to you Nora" said Wura as she smiled and Nora left her room as she closed the door behind her gently.

"*Sigh*, I am just so tired of everything" said Wura to herself as she sighed and she removed the ribbon and pins from her hair, she would not be able to sleep with them there.

"Relax Wura, Relax" said Wura to herself as she ruffled her hair with her hands.
