Few footsteps away

"My princess, your room is ready for you now" said another maid as she walked into the room and she bowed.

"Alright then Thank you" said Wura as she smiled and she stood up quickly.

"Well I really am sorry your highness, but I will be going now, take care" said Wura sarcastically as she smiled at Liam and she walked towards the maid.

"And you should take care as well" said Liam as he smiled as Wura and the maid left his room as the maid closed the door behind them.

"I really did offend her this time" said Liam to himself as he shook his head and he smiled, he did deserve her treatment towards him, he treated her unfairly when all she wanted to do was to make something special for him in honour of his birthday.

Liam sighed, he just could not help himself, even if he did not want to, every year on his birthday, he would be in an utterly foul mood, and well his father knew that fact already, so he would just leave him be, but Wura was not his father, she was not used to that type of treatment from him before, and he was sure that she could not understand him, and he was really sorry for that, and he wanted to apologize to her correctly, but the question now was how?

"My princess, your room" said the maid as she stopped in front of a door.

"This is my room?" asked Wura in surprise.

"Yes my princess" replied the maid as she nodded her head.

"Is something wrong my princess?" asked the maid as she noticed Wura's surprise.

"Ahh, no, no everything is fine" said Wura as she smiled.

"Alright my princess" said the maid as she smiled and she opened the door to the room as Wura walked in, all her belongings had already been placed in her room, and he room looked very neat and clean.

"My princess, is everything to your liking?" asked the maid as she turned to look at Wura.

"Ahh yes, everything is fine" said Wura as she smiled.

"I am glad that you think so my princess" said the maid as she smiled.

"My princess, I will take my leave now, I shall call you when dinner is ready" said the maid as she smiled.

"Alright then, thank you once again" said Wura as she smiled and the maid smiled once again as she bowed and she walked out of Wura's room.

Wura sighed as she walked to her bed and she sat down on it, her bed was nicely made, the thing was that actually she was a bit upset, the truth was that she was a bit unhappy with where her room was, she was just a few footsteps away from Liam's room, which would be the closest her room had even been to him.

She did not want to be a bother and request for an unnecessary room change that would warrant suspicion from the Castle staff, so she had to swallow down her discomfort and just wish that she would be alright here.

Wura stood up from her bed as she sighed and she walked over to the couch as she looked through her belongings, she had managed to pack along a book she was currently reading about the history of Wyverdale, and she could tell you that is was interesting, to think that Wyverdale was once not a part of this world was surprising, but there were still some things that she could not understand.

"Well alright then, at least I have something to keep me company" said Wura as she smiled and she sat down on the couch as she opened the book, she wondered how Nora and his Majesty were doing.

Yes, she knew that she had not been away from the Castle for less than a day, but she did already miss them, she herself did not know just how close she had become with all of them, in just a short amount of them, she truly cared for them all deeply, and even if she did not want to admit it, Liam was part of those who she cared for as well, even though she would have preferred if that was not so.

A knock on the door interrupted Wura's reading as she closed the book and she looked up.

"Come in" said Wura as she looked at the door.

"My princess, dinner is ready" said the maid as she walked into Wura's room and she smiled.

"Alright thank you" said Wura as she smiled and she put the book she was reading on the couch.

"Shall I escort you to the dining room?" asked the maid.

"Well alright then" said Wura as she smiled and she stood up as she followed after the maid and as soon as she stepped out of her room, she happened to catch sight of Liam, who always seemed to have been stepping out of his room at that same moment.

"Ahh, you know what, on second thought, I would like to eat dinner in my room, if that would be alright?" asked Wura as she stood walking and she spoke to the maid who turned to look at her.

"Alright my princess, as you wish" said the maid as she bowed and she nodded her head.

"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled, if she ate dinner in her room, that way she could easily avoid Liam's face that irritated her so, it would be a win for her.

"My prince, would you also like to dine in your room?" asked the maid as she turned to look at Liam.

"Yes I would like to" said Liam as he smiled, there was no point of going to eat in the dining room if he was going to eat alone, so he would rather eat alone in his room then.

"Alright my prince" said the maid as she bowed.

"I will return soon with your dinner your highnesses" said the maid as she bowed once again before she left the hall to the direction of the kitchen, which only left Liam and Wura only a few footsteps away from each other as they stood in that great, empty big hall.

"Enjoy dinner" said Liam as he smiled and Wura turned to look at him.

"I wish that you do not your highness" said Wura as she smiled in annoyance at him.

"Hmm" said Liam as he chuckled.

"Mhmm" said Wura as she walked back into her room and she closed the door behind her and Liam chuckled.

"She really is not going to forgive me easily at all" said Liam to himself as he sighed and he smiled, it seemed that he was going to have to do better.

"*Sigh*, he is so annoying" said Wura as she sighed and she rested her back behind her door.

"He just stands there, and smiles, and he acts like nothing happened at all" said Wura.

"Did he forget his attitude towards me yesterday or what??" asked Wura as she had not heard a sincere apology from him yet, and that was why she was still upset with him.

"What are you even saying Wura, why do you need him to apologize??" asked Wura to herself as she scoffed.

"You and him do not have a relationship at all" said Wura as she reminded herself of that fact.

"In fact, he can do whatever he wants to do, because neither of us need each other" said Wura as she reasoned with herself and she sighed once more as she walked and sat down on the couch, why was this all so stressful?? Her sham of a marriage was so stressful and for what?? What did she do to deserve this??

A few minutes later, the same maid from earlier walked into Wura's room with her dinner.

"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled as the maid placed her dinner on the table near the couch.

"You are welcome my princess, I will take my leave now" said the maid as she smiled and she bowed.

"Alright, you may go" said Wura as she smiled, and the maid smiled as she bowed once again and she left the room.

Wura sighed, she was even more lonely here than back at the Castle, at least she had Nora to talk to, but here she was so secluded, and there was no one else to talk to rather than him, the aids here seemed to just do their duties and excuse themselves, they did not seem like the chatty type, and Wura was just tired.

"I hope whatever it is that needs to be done here will be done here soon" said Wura to herself as she sighed and she rubbed her eyes, she was sure she had faced more stress than she was supposed to at this age, she never imagined this.
