Dream well

"My princess, would you like to take a bath before you retire to bed?" asked the maid as she had packed away Wura's dinner after she had finished eating her dinner.

"Ahh well No, I will take a bath tomorrow morning" said Wura as she shook her head, all she wanted to do was sleep so she could get this day already over and done with.

"Alright my princess" said the maid as she nodded her head.

"Yes, so you may go now, and have a goodnight" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you my princess, and the same to you" said the maid as she smiled and she bowed her head as Wura smiled once more as the maid left her room.

Wura sighed, if only she could forget all her problems, Wura stood up as she walked to the closet to get her nightgown, so she could change out of her dress, luckily for her, Nora had picked out a nice dress with buttons at the back of the dress, so she did not anyone to help her remove her dress, which was a luckily thing for her.

"Everything will be alright Wura, you have faced worse, and even if you have not, you are facing it now, and of course you will come out on top" said Wura as she smiled and she reassured herself.

The next morning.

"My princess, your bath has been prepared" said the maid as she smiled and she bowed her head.

"Alright then, thank you, you may go now" said Wura as she smiled.

"My princess, do you not require any assistance?" asked the maid in surprise.

"No, I will be able to handle myself, so you may go now" said Wura as she smiled, she could take her bath perfectly fine by herself, the truth was, she did not want every single maid seeing her parts, It was simply embarrassing, she was used to Nora doing it, since Nora would insist, but Wura saw this s a chance for her to finally go back to bathing herself like she normally did.

"Alright my princess, if you say so" said the maid as she nodded her head.

"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled and the maid walked out of her room as she closed the door.

Wura walked into the bathing room, and the wooden bath was filled to the brim with water, Wura walked to the bath and she dipped her hand in the water, it was warm, which made her realize something, it did not snow here early in the morning like it usually did in Wyverdale, which was a surprise for Wura, because she thought that the weather would be the same here as it was in the capital.

Wura snapped out of her thoughts as she realized that she was going to be late for breakfast if she wasted any more time, so she removed her nightgown as she immersed herself in the water and she gave herself a quick bath.

After her bath, Wura chose a simple, plain blue gown with yellow ribbons in front of it, and it was easy for her to wear since it also had buttons, Wura sat down in front of the dressing table mirror, she had decided that she did not have any energy to wash her hair this morning, so she just gave her hair a quick brushing as she left her hair down seeing as she also did not have the energy to attempt to pack it in an updo.

At that same moment that Wura finished getting ready, she heard a knock on the door.

"Come in" said Wura as she smiled and she stood up from the dressing table.

"My princess, I am here to escort you to the dining area" said a maid as she walked into Wura's room and she smiled.

"Well alright then" said Wura as she smiled.

"Please follow me my princess" said the maid as she smiled.

"Lead the way" said Wura as she smiled and she followed after the maid as she closed the door behind her.

Wura was all smiles, today was a new day, and a happy day, but all her happiness was crushed when she saw him… sitting at the dining table happily, without a care in the world.

"My princess here we are" said the maid as she stopped walking and she turned to look at Wura.

"Ahh, I see, thank you" said Wura as she was snapped out of her thoughts, and Liam turned to look at her since the maid speaking to Wura caught his attention, he had not heard Wura walk in, he was busy in his own thoughts.

"You are welcome my princess" said the maid as she smiled and she bowed as she walked way, one thing she noticed about the princess was that she was a very simple woman, she did not even require their assistance to get ready.

"Good Morrow Wura" said Liam as he smiled at Wura.

"Hmm" said Wura as she walked to the dining table.

"Good Morrow your highness" said Wura as she smiled out of courtesy, and not to Liam's surprise, she did not seat beside him, but rather she walked all the way across the dining table to sit at the chair opposite him.

Wura had just remembered that they were not in the presence of anyone important that they would need to pretend in front of, so she decided to sit across him, she would not sit beside him like she was often forced.

"How was your night?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"It was good your highness, thank you for asking, and how was your night?" asked Wura as she looked up to look at him.

"It was good as well" said Liam as he smiled, she seemed to be in a better mood than yesterday, but that was not to fool you, she was still as upset with him as she was yesterday.

"Did you dream well?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Well yes, I had a very good dream, which I will not share with you, seeing as that is my business and not yours" said Wura as she smiled and she replied him curtly.

"I see, no wonder you are in a good mood" said Liam as he chuckled and Wura scoffed at him as the maid walked into the dining room with a tray and she placed Liam and Wura's breakfast on the napkin set on the dining table as she bowed and she left.

"Yes" said Wura as she smiled at him, she did have a good dream, that she never had to see him again, oh that would be wonderful, if she could just wake up one day and all this was just a silly dream, and she was never married to Liam, she would have been so happy.

"I also had a good dream" said Liam as he smiled as he ate his food.

"I did not ask if you did your highness" said Wura rudely as she smiled at him.

"Well, I had a dream that you forgave me, and we were no longer in an argument" said Liam as he smiled.

"Well I am sorry to say your highness, but that dream shall never come to pass" said Wura as she smiled at him and she used her fork to eat her eggs.

"Oh is that so?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Yes your highness, it is perfectly so" said Wura as she smiled.

"You still wear your ring" said Liam as he smiled and he happened to glance at Wura's hand, and her ring was still on her finger, shinning brightly.

"Well of course I do" said Wura as she looked down at her hand.

"I cannot take it off, it would raise suspicion why a woman would not wear her wedding ring, and I frankly would like to remain in peace and not in pieces" said Wura, and Liam laughed.

"You do forget that you are the princess, you can do whatever you want and no one would dare question you" said Liam as he smiled.

"Well yes, that may be so" said Wura.

"But doing things without explaining why you do them would only make people loose respect and confidence in you" said Wura.

"A good leader always considers the opinion of their subjects" said Wura.

"Hmm you are right" said Liam as he smiled, Wura did really know what she was doing, she never did anything out of impulse.

"Of course I am, a great Kingdom is not built on lies but rather the truth" said Wura as she smiled, her father always used to tell her that.

"MY father says the same thing" said Liam as he laughed.

"Well his Majesty is a very wise man" said Wura as she laughed.

"And a stubborn one at that" said Liam as he laughed and he and Wura laughed, the one person they really enjoyed talking about was Alaric.

"I am sorry to interrupt you your highnesses, but there are people here to see you" said the maid as she walked into the dining room as she interrupted Liam and Wura's conversation and she bowed.
