All alone

"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled out of courtesy and she faced her food, she was still not going to forgive him, and she knew that it just looked like she was playing with herself, and she hated that.

Wura could feel Liam's lingering gaze on her, he wondered what he was thinking about, why did he always like to look at her? And smile at her? She just found it plain annoying, as If he had nothing better to do than to put his full attention on her.

Wura just decided to ignore him and focus on her food, because eating was obviously much more better than talking to Liam, and once Wura was done eating her food, she just stood up and she walked out of the dining room without explaining herself saying a word at all.

"She really is still upset with me" said Liam as he sighed.

"I believe I overstepped my boundaries when I held her close last night" said Liam to himself, she had been behaving strangely ever since he had done that, and well her anger from last night joined together with the anger she still had towards him, so she really was upset now.

"I need to get her to forgive me" said Liam as he sighed, he could not bear that she was still upset with him, he felt bad when she did, because he had let her down, and yes he knew that she kept on saying that they had no relationship at all, but regardless she was still his wife, and he was still her husband, and he was to treat her well.

"I am not going anywhere today, I am just going to sit here" said Wura as she sighed and she sat down on her bed, there was nowhere she needed to be today, so she would just stay put in her room and go nowhere at all.

She was going to stay locked up in her room so she could avoid Liam, she already had everything that she needed right here in her room, so she would be alright, and she would not eat anything at noon, since she was sure that she would not be hungry then, so she would only go out for dinner, and hopefully, Liam would finally find something better to do than to trouble her for no reason at all.

"Where did I keep my book then??" asked Wura as she did not remember where she had left her book and she looked around.

"Aha" said Wura as she finally remembered and she lifted up one of the pillows and she found the book she was looking for safely hidden under there.

"Well now I can rest in peace" said Wura to herself as she smiled and she walked over to the couch as she sat down and she opened the book and she began to read.

Hours and hours passed, and Wura had happened to finish her book, which meant that she was back to being bored once again, she had only taken the one book with her.

Wura sighed as she stood up and she walked to the drapes that were covering her windows and she opened them as she looked out the window and she saw that the sun had already set.

She did not even notice, if the sun was going down, then it meant that It was already time for dinner, and yet, none of the maids had come to call her down for dinner yet, which she found odd, because they would usually come and call her at this time, so did they forget??

Wura was curious, so she closed her drapes together as she walked out the door of her room and she closed the door behind her, she did not know why, but the Castle felt very quiet and barren today, as if no one was to be found.

She walked through the halls as she made her way to the dining room, and she entered the dining room as she saw him.

"Good Evening Wura" said Liam as he smiled and he turned to look at Wura as he had herd her footsteps.

"Where is everyone?" asked Wura as she noticed that the Castle was bare.

"I let them go home" said Liam as he smiled.

"Why?" asked Wura as she was surprised.

"Well because they do deserve it, they have looked after the Castle well, and they deserve a break to go back to their families" said Liam as he explained.

"I see" said Wura as she did not know why but she sensed some foul play here.

"Yes, but not to worry, the maids prepared dinner before they left" said Liam as he smiled and Wura just looked at him as she walked to sit across Liam.

"So what did you do all day?" asked Liam as he had noticed that she had not come out of her room till now.

"I was reading" said Wura as she ate her food.

"You seem to love to read" said Liam as he smiled.

"Yes, I find books intriguing" replied Wura simply.

"I see" said Liam.

"Mhmm" said Wura, and then it dawned on her… she and Liam were currently the only people in the Castle since Liam had sent everyone on their way, which meant that they were all alone… in this big Castle.

"Wait, did you send off everyone?" asked Wura as she just had to be sure.

"Yes I did" said Liam as he replied casually as he ate his dinner.

"I see" said Wura as she was upset that her thoughts were true, no, now she was all alone with this Prince, and he could do anything now.

"Does it bother you that we are alone?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Ahh… well no…" said Wura.

"No of course not, we are adults, we do not need to be watched and the Castle workers have their own lives as well" said Wura as she replied honestly.

"I believe that you are right" said Liam as he smiled, she always knew just what to say to defend herself.

The truth was that Liam had purposely sent off everyone, he wanted to be alone with Wura, they needed to speak, without any interruptions or bystanders, and hence why he sent everyone home, there were serious mattes that they needed to discuss between themselves.

"Of course I am" said Wura as she smiled and she faced her food.

"Would you believe me if I said that I was sorry" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Liam.

"Well your highness, it is hard to say, seeing is believing after all" said Wura as she looked up and she smiled at him as she drank her wine.

"Hmm I see" said Liam as he smiled, she was right after all, he could say I am sorry all over and over again, but if he never changed and truly showed that it was sorry, all his apologies were useless.

"Mhmm" said Wura as she smiled.

"And, you are not specific your highness, what exactly are you sorry for?" asked Wura as she glanced up at Liam who's eyes were on her.

"Well…" said Liam as he paused, there were many things that he was sorry for, they were great in number.

"Exactly" said Wura as she smiled, that was it, he could not mention all he was sorry for.

"That is not it at all" said Liam.

"Wait" said Wura as she saw something in the corner of her eye.

"What is it??" asked Liam as he wondered why she had told him to wait.

"There is something moving over there in the corner" said Wura as she pointed to something black and furry she saw moving in the corner of the dining room, close to the entrance of the dining room.

"Something like what?" asked Liam.

"See for yourself" said Wura as Liam turned to look at what she was pointing at and in that same moment the thing began to move/

"Just what is that??" asked Liam as he stood up from the dining table and he walked carefully to the thing and in that moment it scurried away.

"What in the??" asked Liam as he ran after the thing that ran out the dining room, and Wura immediately stood up and she quickly followed after Liam, and she saw him chasing after the strange furry being.

"Catch it" shouted Wura as she saw Liam.

"What do you think I am trying to do?" asked Liam as he turned back to look at Wura and he laughed, and in that same moment the thing scurried behind him quickly and it ran past him.

"Eeek" said Wura as she quickly moved out of the way, she did not want that thing to touch her, they did not know what it was.

"Haha" said Liam as he laughed at Wura's reaction and he ran after the thing, he could not let whatever that thing was roam inside the Castle.

"Oh very funny" said Wura as she laughed and she followed after him.

Liam followed after the being as it squeezed itself under the door of his room and Liam quickly opened the door as he creeped around to find it.

"Did you catch it yet?" asked Wura as she entered his room after him.

"Shh" said Liam as he put his hand over his mouth and Wura kept quiet as Liam creeped around the room as quiet as he could and he saw the furry being hiding behind his drapes and quickly in that moment he bent down and caught it.

"What is it?" asked Wura as she saw Liam had caught it.

"It is a little mouse" said Liam as he laughed and he opened his hand as the little black furry mouse seemed scared.

"Aww how cute, the little mouse really gave you a run" said Wura as she laughed.

"Here, why do you not have it" said Liam as he walked over to Wura and he attempt to put the mouse in Wura's hair.

"No, no, go away" said Wura as she laughed and she ran away, she did not want that poor mouse in her hair.

"It will not bite you Wura, it is very gentle" said Liam as he smiled and he stroked the little mouse.

"Alright, but do not put it in my hair" said Wura as she laughed.

"Do not worry, I will not, come and see the mouse" said Liam.

"Do you promise?" asked Wura.

"I promise" said Liam as he laughed.

"Alright then" said Wura as she walked over and she patted the mouse as it just stood still in Liam's hand.

"Awww it is so cute, poor thing, we must have scared you" said Wura as she smiled and Liam smiled at her.

"Let me set it free now" said Liam as he walked over to his window and he opened it as he placed the rat on one of the hedges.

"Goodbye little mouse" said Wura as she waved and Liam closed his window as they both looked at each other and they laughed.
