A time

"My Princess, it is time for you to go now" said Nora as she walked into Wura's room as she had left to check on some things quickly.

"Alright Nora" said Wura as she sighed and she stood up, crying would solve nothing now, and she had responsibilities as Princess to carry out.

"Are you going to come with me Nora?" asked Wura as she turned to look at Nora.

"Well sadly no my princess…" said Nora as she shook her head.

"I will not be able to go with you… only the Prince and Princess will be allowed to come close to where the Coronation will be held" said Nora as she explained.

"Oh… I see" said Wura.

"Yes my princess" said Nora as she bowed her head.

"Well that is alright Nora…" said Wura as she forced a smile.

"Shall we go my princess?" asked Nora.

"Yes… let us" said Wura as she walked ahead and Nora followed behind her as she closed the door of the room behind them.

"Where is his highness?" asked Wura as she looked around as Nora escorted her to the Carriage and she could not see Liam anywhere.

"My princess, he will not ride with you… he shall join you later" said Nora as she explained, that was what she was told.

"I see" said Wura as she looked at Nora… she could not blame Liam, he needed time as well, and this sudden coronation was not helping matters at all.

"My Princess, you need to go now, before the sun sets" said Nora as she looked at the Sun as it was turning orange, strangely enough today all the snow in the Kingdom had melted and the sun had come out shining like it would have in the summer, it was very strange.

"Alright then" said Wura as she entered into the Carriage.

"My Princess, I will be back here waiting for you" said Nora as she smiled, it pained her so that she could not go along with Wura, but that was just how things were done, the maids were to stay back and prepare the Castle for the new changes, but of course after they were done with that, they could go out and attend the Coronation.

"Thank you Nora" said Wura as Nora smiled and she closed the door of the carriage as the carriage began to move.

Wura sighed as she looked down and her eye caught the gold heart shaped pendant that she wore on her neck… Alaric had gifted it to her.

Wura held the pendant in her hand, she treasured it… it was a gift from him, he was such a king, generous, kind, loving, and joyful.

Tears ran down Wura's eyes as she quickly wiped them off, she could not been seen crying… it would not be good at all, so Wura sniffed, and she made sure to dry her eyes as she caught a hold of herself.

"My Princess, we have arrived" said the coachman as the carriage came to a halt and he came down to open the door for Wura.

"Alright, thank you" said Wura as she came down from the Carriage and she walked into the Church, the Sun had already set and the moon and stars were getting ready to shine.

"Ahh my princess… welcome" said Father Mathias as he caught sight of Wura.

"Good Evening Father" said Wura as she smiled as Father Mathias walked to where she was and he planted a kiss on her forehead.

"My condolences my dear" said Father Mathias as he smiled sadly.

"His Majesty was such a great King… he is in a better place now… with the Greatest King" said Father Mathias.

"Thank you Father… I am sure that he truly is" said Wura as she smiled sadly, death was inevitable, and they had to learn to cope with it over time.

"How are you doing my dear?" asked Father Mathias with a smile.

"Father… I am not good at all… I cannot help but feel sad" said Wura as she looked very sad.

"That is understandable my dear… but you must remember that he would not have liked for you to be sad… rather he would want you to smile" said Father Mathias as he smiled, he was just a young Priest when Alaric was Coronated King, and now he was going to Coronate the new King.

"Yes… he would have" said Wura as she smiled, Father Mathias was right.

"Now that is better my dear" said Father Mathias as he smiled.

"Everything has been prepared for the Coronation… the Prince will be Coronated before he shall move outside to give his first speech as King" said Father Mathias as he explained, he was wearing a white robe and a white mitre on his head… this was an official function, and so he had to dress in an official way, today was a very important day.

"Where is his highness?" asked Wura as she looked around.

"He is yet to arrive" said Father Mathias.

"I see" said Wura as she smiled, she had not seen Liam since this noon, she was starting to get worried, but she could understand Liam, and she also knew that he was very responsible.

"Good Evening Father Mathias" said Liam as he walked into the Church and he walked to where Father Mathias and Wura were standing.

"Ahh my Prince, welcome" said Father Mathias as he smiled and Wura turned to look at Liam.

"Thank you Father" said Liam as he nodded his head.

Wura looked at Liam, was it only her, or did Liam look tired? He had some subtle bags under his eyes, and even though his eyes were clear, it was certain that there were some tears in them before.

"Well shall we proceed now? The ceremony of the Coronation will start soon" said Father Mathias.

"Yes Father" said Liam as he nodded and Father Mathias smiled as he began to walk and Liam followed after him as Wura followed after them… she wanted to talk to Liam, but this was neither the place or the time, and quite frankly, he did not look like he wanted to be spoken with, and she remembered their agreement, so she would just hold herself.

It was time… time for the Coronation… the entire Kingdom had travelled down to the Capital to make the Coronation and pay their last respects to Alaric, those who could travel down in time did, and those who could not, remained where they were.

The Church was full and crowded with people as slow music played and the atmosphere was quite sombre, with the people subtly mourning and praying.

And so it began… the coronation of the new King.

The Church doors opened as Liam walked in, and he walked down the aisle to the altar, he looked very serious and regal, he wore a red mantle and his hair was finely combed as the trumpeters blew their trumpets and everyone went quiet as Liam was being welcomed.

And just as Liam stopped in front of the altar, Wura came in after him, she was adorned in a golden dress, her hair was neatly up in a bun as she walked to the alter and the trumpets blew as she walked, and she reached the altar as she stood beside Liam and the Church was very quiet.

"Let the Coronation begin" said Father Mathias as he smiled and Liam knelt before the Altar as Wura did the same as Father Mathias sprinkled water on them both, and he began to speak.

"We are here this fine evening to crown Prince Liam Alaric Phillip Nigel Wyverdale as King, and Princess Diwura Lily Wyverdale as his Queen" said Father Mathias.

"We may have lost a King, but we have now received an even greater King… do not be sad… because all things happen for a reason, and there is a time for everything" said Father Mathias as he smiled.

"There is a time for weeping and a time for crying… a time for sorrow and a time for Joy" said Father Mathias.

"A time for birth and a time for death, a time for crying and a time for laughing, a time to be free and time to be bound" said Father Mathias as he looked at everyone as they quietly listened to him.

"A time for old Kings to pass and a time for new Kings to ascend" said Father Mathias as he smiled, and the people all hummed in a chorus, Father Mathias spoke the truth… it was true… such was life, there were always endings and new beginnings.

"His highness shall now take the oath" said Father Mathias as he brought forth a scroll and Liam placed his hand on it as Wura watched, Liam looked very serious and mature as he looked at Father Mathias.

"Pleas say after me your highness" said Father Mathias as he smiled.
