Admire beautiful things

"Greetings your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled and she walked into the stables as she caught sight of Liam.

"Greetings Wura" said Liam as he smiled and he turned to look at Wura.

"You called for me your Majesty?" asked Wura as she just wanted to know why he had called for her, it seemed that whenever he called for her, she ended up doing, or saying something that embarrassed herself.

"Yes I did" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura.

"And why is that?" asked Wura, she just wanted to know what he wanted from her, so she could go back to her room, she still felt a little bit embarrassed that she had asked Liam if he had a lover, but he seemed to have moved past it, he did not mention it, not even once, but that still did not make Wura feel any more better.

"My King, I have brought your horse as you have requested" came the voice of the stable master as he held the reins of Nolan and Liam turned to look at him.

"Thank you" said Liam as he smiled and he took the reins from the man.

"Ah… my Queen, I did not know that you were here, please forgive me for my insolence" said the stable master as he caught sight of Wura and he bowed.

"Greetings my Queen" said the man as he followed due protocol.

"Greetings, please rise, that is not necessary at all" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you for your kindness my Queen" said the stable master as he stood up and Wura smiled at him.

"Please bring the other horse" said Liam as he looked at the stable master.

"Yes my king" said the stable master as he nodded his head and he went to do as he was told.

"Be a good boy Nolan" said Liam as he looked at Nolan as Nolan neighed as if refusing to, which made Wura laugh and Liam turned to look at her.

"You want to say hello to him?" asked Liam as he smiled at Wura.

"Of course, why not?" asked Wura as she smiled and Liam walked towards her as he gave her Nolan's reins.

"Hello boy" said Wura as she smiled.

"Did you miss me?" asked Wura as she smiled and she patted Nolan's snout as he moved in closer and he neighed as if agreeing that he did.

"I think that is a yes" said Liam as he smiled and Wura laughed.

"Well I missed you too boy" said Wura as she smiled and Nolan neighed as Liam shook his head at his traitor of a horse, who would so kindly betray him just for the love of his wife.

"You are so cute" said Wura as she patted Nolan's snout and he sniffed her hair, she was shorter than him.

"That tickles, do not do that Nolan" said Wura as she laughed and Nolan neighed.

"I can see that the both of you enjoy each other's company" said Liam as he smiled and Wura turned to look at him.

"How can I not when Nolan is such a joy to be around, unlike some people" said Wura as she smiled.

"Hmm, I see, and those other people do not go by names?" asked Liam.

"I would rather not say your Majesty, the walls have ears now do they?" asked Wura as she smiled sweetly as Liam smiled at her, they both knew what who she was talking about, but Liam would not pay attention to that right now.

"I believe that you are right" said Liam as he smiled.

"Your Majesty, I am sure that you did not call me here just to come and see Nolan now did you?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"Well no, you are right, I did not bring you here to come and see my traitor of a horse named Nolan" said Liam as he laughed.

"Do not call him that your Majesty, he just knows good people when he sees them" said Wura as she laughed.

"Mhmm, I doubt that, he is only nice to children and women, and beautiful women at that" said Liam as he smiled and Wura cleared her throat, did Liam just call her beautiful?

"You think I am beautiful your Majesty?" asked Wura.

"No, I did not say that, you did not let me finish, there are some exceptions, maybe he only likes you because you are my wife" said Liam as he smiled and he loved the way the expression on Wura's face turned from embarrassed to annoyed.

"Oh is that so your Majesty?" asked Wura in annoyance, he mislead her, she should have known that this so called husband of hers would only be toying with her and nothing more.

"Yes it is so" said Liam as he smiled, he wanted to laugh because this was just payback for when she refused to admit that she thought he was handsome, of course he thought that she was beautiful, she was very beautiful to him, but she had refused to admit that she saw him as a very handsome man, and for that, he just needed to get back at her.

"Oh your Majesty, I beg to differ, because if my memory serves me right, Nolan liked me way before we got married" said Wura as there was a smirk on her face, she was sure that she had got him this time.

"Well that was only because he knew that I was going to marry you" said Liam.

"Whatever you say your Majesty, whatever you say" said Wura as she smiled at him, she knew that he knew that she was right.

"But unlike some people who prefer to live in denial, I love to admire beautiful things" said Liam.

"And you are one of them" said Liam as he smiled and Wura looked at him, she wondered if he knew what he had just said, Wura felt her heart skip a beat as her eyes held his, she did not know what to say.

"My King, I have the horse you asked for" came the voice of the stable master as he walked into the stables and he interrupted the moment as Wura looked away from Liam as he smiled and he turned to look at stable master.

"Thank you, you may go now" said Liam as he smiled.

"Thank you my King" said the stable master as he smiled and he bowed his head and he walked away.

"Let us go" said Liam as he smiled and he looked at Wura.

"To where your Majesty?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam.

"Outside, I have something to show you" said Liam as he smiled and he took Wura's hand.

"But what about Nolan?" asked Wura as she was flustered but the way Liam quickly took her hand in his, they had never held hands before, what was she even thinking.

"He is a good boy, he will be fine here, right Nolan?" asked Liam as he smiled and he looked at Nolan as Nolan neighed.

"See, he will be fine" said Liam as he looked at Wura and he smiled.

"Alright then your Majesty" said Wura as she let go of Nolan's reins, she did not know what to do, she and Liam were alone, and he was taking her outside to show her who knew what, she felt so nervous.

Liam smiled as she held Wura's hand and he started to walk as she followed after him, she was in her own thoughts, thinking of what exactly Liam was playing at with this new gestures of his, first he called her beautiful, and now he was holding her hand, Wura was sure that this was because of the question she had asked him.

Wura and Liam walked outside hand in hand as Wura looked ahead and she saw a reddish brown horse who's reigns were tied to a wooden pole outside.

"Who tied the poor horse over there your Majesty?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam and he let go of her hand as he walked to where the horse was tied and he untied it as he held the horse's reins in his hand and he walked to where Wura was standing.

"I was the one that asked that the horse be tied here" said Liam as he smiled.

"But why your Majesty, the poor horse must be cold" said Wura as she felt bad for the horse.

"I assure you that the horse has not been out here for too long" said Liam.

"I see" said Wura as Liam smiled at here.

"Here" said Liam as he smiled and he handed Wura the reins of the horse.

"Why are you giving me the horse's reins your Majesty?" asked Wura in confusion as she took the reins from Liam.

"Do you like the horse?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Well yes, I think it is very pretty, but what does that have to do with anything your Majesty?" asked Wura as she was confused.

"It is yours" said Liam as he smiled.

"Excuse me your Majesty, but what do you mean it is mine?" asked Wura as she could not understand Liam right now.

"I bought this horse for you, you own it" said Liam as he smiled.

"You did?" asked Wura in surprise as Liam nodded his head.

"Yes I did" said Liam as he smiled.

"But why your Majesty?" asked Wura as she was still surprised, Liam bought a horse… for her??

"Well I believed that it was time you had your own horse, I have mine, and you should have yours as well" said Liam as he smiled as Wura was trying to take this all in, he bought a horse for her? He actually did?

"Say something… do you not like the horse?" asked Liam as he smiled as Wura was quiet, he wondered if he should have bought a lighter coloured horse for her.

"No, it is not that your Majesty… I do like the horse" said Wura as she finally opened her mouth to speak.

"Thank you for buying me this horse your Majesty, I really appreciate it" said Wura as she smiled, she really did appreciate this gesture of Liam's he did not know how she always wanted to have a horse of her own, even since she was a little girl, this was a dream come true.

"You are welcome, I was sure that you would like it" said Liam as he smiled, he was happy that she liked it, he had made sure to buy her the best young stallion in the Kingdom.

"But…" said Wura as she paused.

"But what?" asked Liam as he could sense some hesitation.

"I appreciate your gesture your Majesty, I really do, but the thing is…" said Wura as she paused and she sighed.

"I do not know how to ride a horse" said Wura as she sighed.

"I am afraid that the horse would be of no use to me, since I cannot ride it" said Wura sadly.

"I know that Wura" said Liam.

"Which is why I am going to teach you how to ride a horse" said Liam as he smiled and Wura looked at him in surprise.

"You will?" asked Wura.

"Of course I will, I did say that I would did I not?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"I thought that you forgot" said Wura.

"No I did not, I never forget" said Liam as he smiled.

"But will you not be busy your Majesty… I mean, you are the King after all" said Wura as she did not want him neglecting his duties as King just because he wanted to teach her how to ride a horse.

"No I will not be busy, the Kingdom is finally calm, and I have some free time on my hands, I have time to teach you" said Liam as he smiled, everything in the Kingdom had finally settled down, which meant that he would be less busy now.

"You do?" asked Wura.

"I will have time for you Wura" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.

"Thank you your Majesty… thank you" said Wura as she smiled, she had always wanted to learn how to ride a horse, and now she would, she could not wait.

"You do not need to thank me, we will start your riding lessons tomorrow" said Liam as he smiled.

"Alright then your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled, she could not wait.

"Yes, but for now, why do you not give your horse a name?" asked Liam as he smiled.

"Ahh, yes your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled and she nodded her head and Liam smiled at her.

"Is it a boy or a girl your Majesty?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"It is a boy" replied Liam.

"Do you have any names in mind?" asked Liam as he smiled, naming a horse was one of the most important things in owning a horse, whatever name you gave your horse would determine how they would act.

"Yes your Majesty, I already have one" said Wura as she smiled.

"Care to share?" asked Liam as he smiled and Wura turned to look at her horse.

"His name is Ayo" said Wura as she smiled.

"Ayo, what does that mean?" asked Liam as he smiled, that did not sound like a Wyverdanian word at all.

"It means Joy in my mother's language" said Wura as she smiled and she patted her new horse on his snout as he neighed.

"I see, it is a beautiful name" said Liam as he smiled.

"Thank you your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled.

"That language is not Wyverdanian is it?" asked Liam as Wura was smiling as she patted her new horse.

"No it is not, it is the language of the land of Eru" said Wura as she smiled.

"You speak the language of the land of Eru?" asked Liam in surprise.

"Well yes, it is my mother's language, she is from the land of Eru, but she was sold as a slave to the plains" said Wura.

"Your mother was a slave?" asked Liam in surprise.

"Yes she was, my Father met her when she was a slave" said Wura as she explained and Liam was surprise, he realized that he did not know much about Wura at all.

"So your mother is from the east?" asked Liam.

"Yes she is, and I grew up speaking her language with her" said Wura as she smiled and she looked at Liam.

"I see, that is interesting" said Liam as he smiled.

"Yes it is, my Father, well he was always rather jealous that my mother and I always had this secret language to communicate in" said Wura as she laughed.

"Your Father does not know how to speak the language?" asked Liam as he laughed.

"He never truly got the hang of it, even though he did try" said Wura as she laughed.

"He can only understand little bits" said Wura as she laughed and Liam laughed.

"Well this is quite interesting, it would seem that you and Mero speak the same language" said Liam as he smiled.

"Mero speaks the language of Eru?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam in surprise.

"Yes he does" said Liam.

"What a surprise, but how come?" asked Wura.

"Well his mother is from the land of Eru, but his Father is a Wyverdanian" said Liam as he explained.

"Well I guess that we are closer than we think" said Wura as she laughed.

"I believe so" said Liam as he laughed.

"Well then, it is cold out here, how about we take the good, quiet, gentle boy Ayo over here to his own stable, and then tomorrow, you can learn how to ride him" said Liam as he smiled.

"Alright your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled and Liam smiled at her.

"Thank you once again your Majesty" said Wura as she smiled, she was really grateful.

"You are welcome Wura" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled brightly at him.
