Want him back

"If there are things that he does not tell you, it is because he does not want you to worry at all" said Nigel.

"But I am his wife… if he does not tell me things, then he does not trust me, what worries him, will worry me" said Wura.

"My dear, he is your husband yes, but he is also King, there are somethings that a King has to keep to himself, because he is the only one that can handle them" said Nigel as Wura looked at him, she knew that he was right, why was she making a big deal out of this anyway?? It was not like she and Liam were that close before that they told each other everything… and she regretted that, because now that she lost him, she wanted him back.

"You have to understand my dear, everything he does, is for your own good, and that of the Kingdom's as well" said Nigel as he smiled.

"I know my nephew, and he loves you, he would do anything to protect you, just to make sure that you are alright" said Nigel as he smiled and Wura felt tears drop down from her eyes as she began to cry again.

"Even sacrificing himself for me" said Wura as she cried and Nigel nodded his head, Liam did sacrifice himself for her.

"Oh Uncle, I just want him back, I just want to see him again, to hug him and tell him that… that I… I love him as well" said Wura a she broke into sobs.

"Oh my dear come here" said Nigel as he hugged Wura as she cried… the last words that she had heard from him was that he loved her… he loved her and it killed her that he did, she did not deserve his love at all, because of her he was lost missing.

"Everything will be alright my dear… I am sure that it will be" said Nigel as Wura hugged him as she cried.

"Finally, you are here" said Elihu as he sighed in relief once he saw Luc riding towards them with his horse as he finally returned.

"What happened?" asked Luc as he brought his horse to a stop as he got down from his horse quickly.

"Nothing happened that is what" said Elihu as he replied and Luc looked at Zechariah in confusion, he could not understand Elihu when he got like this.

"What he means to say is that Mero refused to tell us anything until you returned" said Zechariah as he calmly explained.

"So we have been out here, wating for you to return" said Zuph as he chipped in.

"And where is Mero?" asked Luc.

"In there" said Zuph as he pointed to the tent.

"And he did not say anything?" asked Luc very carefully as Zechariah shook his head.

"Nothing at all?" asked Luc.

"Nothing at all" replied Zuph as Luc was surprised.

"He did not scold you?" asked Luc as Zuph shook his head.

"No he did not" said Zuph.

"And he did not look angry?" asked Luc.

"Not in the slightest bit, he only looked very serious" said Zechariah as he explained.

"Enough of all the questions, now that you are here, we can go ask Mero for ourselves" said Elihu as he was already tired of all the waiting, it was too much, Luc was already here, and yet they were already wasting time here talking when they could just go in and see what Mero wanted to talk to them about.

Elihu just scoffed as he walked straight for the tent and he entered the tent as the others looked at each other and they sighed as they shook their heads and they followed after Elihu, his impulsive nature would get him nowhere.

Mero turned to look at who had just entered the tent as he saw Elihu standing there as the others entered after him.

"Luc is here now Mero" said Zuph as Mero looked at him.

"Good, now, will you all please tell me why you would bring the Queen here?" asked Mero.

"She asked us to" said Luc.

"And you just decided to bring her here?" asked Mero.

"Well Mero, the thing is…" said Zechariah as he was cut off by Elihu.

"I will not lie, the others did not want to bring her here, but I was the one who said that we would" said Elihu as Mero looked at him.

"And why would you do that?" asked Mero.

"Well because Mero, just like you, we all deserve to be here, you sent us away, when you know that all of us what to be here, looking for Liam along with you, because we want to find him as much as you do" said Elihu.

"What did you expect? That we would just sit and watch as you did everything, and we did nothing, it is not fair Mero" said Elihu.

"I respect you Mero, we all do, but in the end our loyalty lies to the King of Wyverdale and that is Liam, we are all his men, and if our leader is missing, then we all as his trusted men should look for him, and not sit by, watching others do what we are supposed to do" said Elihu as Mero just watched him as he spoke, he had been in silence for so long, but not anymore.

"I understand if you want to send us back to the Castle, or if you are upset, but just know that we are not just going to sit back and watch you do whatever you want to do, because we are also going to look for Liam, with or without your permission" said Elihu.

Mero kept quiet, he knew that out of them all, Elihu was the one who was always honest and spoke his heart, and for him to speak like this, Mero knew that the others felt the same way he did, but unlike him, they would not say all of this out to his face.

"You are not going anywhere…" said Mero as Elihu, Zechariah, Zuph and Luc all sounded surprised.

"Because you are right Elihu… we all care for Liam, our King, and well all need to look for him…" said Mero as he paused, he had thought about what Wura had said to him, and yes, he knew that she was right, it was like he was hindering them from finding Liam if he did not allow them all to help him.

"We… no I… I need your help… all of you to help me find Liam… because I cannot do it all on my own" said Mero as he sighed, he realized that this was no time for him to refuse help, their King was missing here, he was nowhere to be found, and if they did not find him in time, the people of the Kingdom would start to get suspicious and worried, and that would not be good at all.

"What made you change your attitude so quickly?" asked Elihu.

"Elihu!" called Zechariah in worry, just what did Elihu think he was going here?

"That is alright Zechariah" said Mero as he gestured that Zechariah leave Elihu be, he was only asking what was on his mind after all, and Mero did not blame him at all, he knew that if he was in his shoes, he would have asked the same.

"Her Majesty spoke to me…" said Mero as he started to explain.

"She asked me why I was refusing your help" said Mero.

"She told me that by refusing your help, it was more like I was trying to stop you all from finding Liam, and that is not true at all, we are all his men, I am sure that he would want us to all work together to find him, and not argue or fight" said Mero.

"I apologize for my attitude earlier, it was unfair of me to insist that you all stay back, when in truth, you all deserve to be here looking for him as well" said Mero.

"Elihu, forgive me" said Mero as he looked at Elihu and Elihu did not say anything at all as Mero looked at him.

"Alright fine… you are forgiven" said Elihu as he did not want to be painted as the bad man here.

"Thank you" said Mero as he nodded his head.

"Have the rest of you forgiven me as well?" asked Mero as he turned to look at the others.

"We hold no grudge against you Mero, we understand why you behaved that way as well" replied Zechariah simply as he spoke for the rest of them.

"Thank you all" said Mero as he nodded his head, all he wanted most, was to find Liam, before it was too late, he could not shake off the thought that something more dangerous was looming right around the corner.
