"My Queen, please I understand your despair at this moment, but I do not believe that going to see a diviner will answer all the questions that we have" said Mero as he looked at Wura and Wura looked at him.
"Well do you have any other ideas?" asked Wura as she looked at Mero and he shook his head.
"Zuph has presented us with a suggestion, and seeing as such, I will take it" said Wura as she dried her eyes and she sniffed, she was tired of crying now.
Zuph had given her a glimmer of hope, if this diviner could actually see the past and present, then maybe she would know where Liam was.
"My Queen, please try to understand" said Mero.
"Understand what?" asked Wura.
"My Queen, what Mero is trying to say is that we know what we believe, and are we really going to believe the supposed words of a diviner who might be fake and just tell us what is on her mind" said Elihu as he found this risky.
"And what if what she says is true? So you would rather that we all be left in the dark, when there might be a way for us to find out the truth?" asked Wura as she sniffed and Elihu kept quiet she was right.
"But my Queen, diviners are dangerous, they had ways of twisting words into what you want to hear" said Luc.
"Enough of this, I am sure that Zuph would not have brought the diviner up if he was not sure that she would be able to assist us" said Wura as she looked at Zuph and then she looked at Nigel, he did not seem to be refusing like the others were.
The truth was that Nigel considered the possibility of the diviner knowing what happened to Liam, and if she could tell them the truth, then he would forever be grateful.
"Uncle, are you against the matter?" asked Wura as she looked at Nigel she really needed him to say no, she needed him to be on her side, because she herself was not sure, she knew that Elihu was right, she also did not trust what diviners said, but they had to give it a chance.
"My dear, as you said, even if there is only a little chance of the truth being told, I am in full support" said Nigel as Wura nodded her head, she really thanked Nigel for being on her side.
"That settles it, we will go and see the diviner" said Wura as she looked at Mero, her tone sounded like there was no room for refusal at all.
"You said that she lives in the west right?" asked Wura as she looked at Zuph and he nodded his head.
"Yes my Queen, she does" said Zuph.
"Alright then, we will go and see her, right now" said Wura.
"No my Queen, we cannot possibly go now" said Mero as Wura looked at him.
"And why not? The sooner we enquire from the diviner, the sooner we can know what happened to Liam" said Wura as she looked at Mero, she did not look like she was going to back down now, and she was not, if they were all not in support of her decision then she did not care, she would not wait for them, she would go alone.
"My dear, please listen to Mero, you cannot go now" said Nigel as Wura turned to look at him.
"The night has already fallen, and it would be dangerous to go in the night" said Nigel as Wura knew that he made a good point, but she just could not take it, not at all, she wanted to know the truth as soon as possible.
"Uncle you are right… I just want to know the truth" said Wura as she sighed, she could not calm herself down.
"Yes my dear, I understand, and I do not blame you at all" said Nigel.
"But we just need to take things slowly, we need to take it one step at a time, we cannot risk anything dangerous happening to any of you" said Nigel as he spoke gently and softly, he was trying to make Wura see reason, even though he felt just as restless as she did.
"Just take it easy my dear" said Nigel as Wura just sighed.
"Fine" said Wura as she reluctantly agreed, left for her, she would leave right this instant to meet that diviner.
"That is better my dear" said Nigel as he smiled.
"We will leave early tomorrow morning then, and I will go if you agree with me or not" said Wura as she looked at the others.
"We will surely go with you my Queen" said Mero as he replied.
"Good" said Wura as she just felt so tired now, and she felt a headache coming on.
"My Queen, you have stressed yourself too much, you need to rest" said Nora as she could notice that Wura was not feeling well.
Wura just sighed as she had to agree with Nora, she did feel tired and she needed to rest.
"Alright then…" said Wura.
"I will see you all early tomorrow morning, whether you are all ready or not" said Wura as she looked at Mero in particular.
"Uncle I will take my leave now" said Wura as she turned to look at Nigel.
"Alright my dear, rest well" said Nigel as he smiled at Wura and nodded at him, she wished that she could.
"Let us go Nora" said Wura as she walked ahead.
"Yes my Queen" said Nora as she nodded her head and she followed after Wura as she closed the door.
"Zuph, do you really believe that the diviner will be of help to us?" asked Nigel as he looked at Zuph and Zuph looked at him.
"Honestly Uncle… I really hope so" said Zuph as he replied.
…
"Liam is not dead, no not at all, Nora he is not dead" said Wura as she kept on repeating that.
"Yes my Queen, he is not, I believe so as well" said Nora as she replied, she just wanted Wura to calm down first.
"He is not dead… because what happened that day was not normal" said Wura as Nora looked at her in confusion.
"How do you mean my Queen?" asked Nora in confusion.
"Nora, what happened that day was as a result of the barrier breaking… I have been reading Liam's journal, and well… I remember seeing some sort of black portal of some kind, I am not crazy, because Liam is not dead, what if, what if he was just unconsciously carried to another Kingdom? Or another area?" asked Wura as her mind was racing, but one thing was sure she knew that Liam was not dead, she refused to believe that he was dead.
Something within her told her that he was not dead and he was still alive, call it instinct, or maybe it was because they were married but… she felt a deep conviction within her he was not dead.
"My Queen, please slow down" said Nora as she did not understand anything Wura was saying.
"My Queen, now is not the time to think too much" said Nora.
"Tomorrow, you will go and see the diviner, and if she can answer all our questions, God bless her" said Nora.
"So please my Queen, please try to rest now, because your mind needs to rest before tomorrow" said Nora as Wura knew that Nora was right, but she just could not control herself, not right now at least, she was so restless.
"Alright Nora, alright, I will try to rest" said Wura as she took a deep breath and Nora smiled at her.
"That is better my Queen, some rest will do you some good" said Nora as she smiled.
"Nora, will you go with me tomorrow?" asked Wura as Nora looked at her.
"My Queen, I will go with you wherever you ask me too" said Nora as she smiled.
"Thank you Nora" said Wura as she really did not want to go alone, she would feel better if Nora went along with her.
"You do not need to thank me my Queen" said Nora as she smiled.
"Now get some rest my Queen, I will just tidy your room" said Nora as she smiled and she walked to Wura's closet as Wura nodded her head.
"Thank you Nora… for everything" said Wura.
"You are welcome my Queen, it is my duty to serve you to the best I can" said Nora as she smiled and Wura tried to smile, but she just could not, not until she knew the truth.
"Please get some rest now my Queen, you said that you would leave early in the morning" said Nora as Wura nodded her head, she did say so, and she could not be late herself.
So Wura closed her eyes as she tried to go to sleep.
