Already awake

"Oh I do not know if I am making the right decision here by allowing Wura to go" said Nigel to himself as he sighed, he did not know if he was making the right call here by allowing Wura to go to the Yonder Realm along with them.

"It will be dangerous out there" said Nigel as he knew that Mero and the others would be with her, but still, he did not want Wura to be in danger at all.

"But she is already set on going, and I cannot change her mind" said Nigel to himself as he sighed, he was torn on what to do, on one hand, he knew that he should not let Wura go, but she would not listen, and on the other hand, he wondered what Liam would say, he knew just how stubborn and determined his wife could be, so maybe she would allow her to go.

"*Sigh*, well you cannot change your decision now Nigel, you already agreed" said Nigel to himself as he sighed and he heard a knock on his door.

"Enter" said Nigel as Mero entered Nigel's office and he closed the door behind him.

"Ahh Mero, what brings you here?" asked Nigel as he looked at Mero as he gestured for him to sit down as Mero sat down.

"Royal Duke, I just came here to inform you that her majesty came to see me" said Mero.

"Yes, I am aware of that, I was there when she agreed to go and see you" said Nigel as he nodded his head and he smiled.

"Well Royal Duke, her Majesty has concluded, and we will be leaving for the Waterfalls tomorrow" said Mero as he explained and Nigel nodded his head.

"Alright, I really pray that you go and return in peace, and that when you do return you will return with Liam" said Nigel as Mero nodded his head.

"I pray so too as well Royal Duke, we will find Liam" said Mero as he nodded his head.

"I do ask one thing of you, please take care of Wura, guarding her must be your top concern at all times" said Nigel.

"You do not need to ask me to do that my Duke, it is my duty, and I made a promise to Liam, so believe when I say that protecting her, is my top concern at all times" said Mero as Nigel smiled at him.

"Thank you Mero, thank you" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Apart from that my Duke, her majesty and I spoke, and we concluded that we cannot possibly leave you all alone" said Mero.

"So her Majesty decided that not all of us will go, two out of us will stay here to assist you in anything that you might need" said Mero.

"That is rather generous of you" said Nigel as he knew just how all of them wanted to go and find Liam.

"It is her Majesty my Duke, she really does care for you and the Kingdom" said Mero.

"I know she does… I know that she does" said Nigel as he smiled, he could not have asked for a better niece in law.

The next morning.

"My Queen, you are already awake" said Nora as she walked into Wura's room and she was surprised to see her wide awake already, and getting dressed without her help at all as she braided her hair into a long ponytail.

"Yes I have Nora" said Wura as she looked at Nora, all throughout last night, she had been unable to sleep, nothing made sense to her, all she wanted was for the morning to come, so that they could proceed with their journey, and now that it was here, she was not going to waste time at all, she woke up early, took her bath, wore her clothes and made sure to braid her hair into something acceptable, there was no time to waste at all.

"My Queen, you have had your bath?" asked Nora in uncertainty.

"Yes Nora, there were buckets of water left in the bathing room, so I used that" said Wura as she explained.

"But my Queen, was that not cold?" asked Nora.

"Nora, we are in spring, it is no longer winter, the water was not that cold" replied Wura as she smoothed her hair one last time as she looked in her dressing table mirror.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she nodded her head.

"Nora, are you ready? We have no time to waste?" asked Wura.

"Yes my Queen, I ama ready" said Nora as she replied.

"Have you had your bath?" asked Wura.

"Yes I have my Queen" said Nora.

"Good, then go change into something easy to move in, we will be leaving soon" said Wura as she turned to look at Nora.

"Alright my Queen, but what about breakfast?" asked Nora as she was not going to let Wura leave just like that without having breakfast.

"I will go and have breakfast with Uncle Nigel so that I can say goodbye" said Wura.

"Alright my Queen, I will get changed, I have already packed all your clothes in a bag" said Nora.

"Alright Nora, thank you, when you are done, I will see you at the stables, and please make sure to have breakfast yourself as well, I will see you later" said Wura as she spoke quickly and she did not even give Nora a chance to reply as she quickly walked out of her room, she would not wait, not at all.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora even though Wura was long gone.

Nora just sighed as she smiled, she could see that Wura was eager for them to start their journey.

Nora just smiled as she noticed that Wura left her bed undone, so Nora walked to tidy up Wura's bed and the room before they left.

Wura sighed as she walked through the halls, it had been such a long time since she had ate in the dining room, or walked in these parts of the Castle, she had been in her room for so long, hiding away in her pain.

Wura felt so many memories rush though her head as she entered the dining room where she and Liam had so many meals together, in happiness, in sadness, in anger, in annoyance, all the thoughts that made her feel like crying, but she did not, not right now, they would find Liam soon, she was sure of it.

"Good Morrow Uncle" said Wura as she smiled and she looked at Nigel as he turned to look at her.

"Ahh Good morrow my dear, I did not expect to see you here" said Nigel as he smiled and Wura smiled as she gave him a kiss on the cheek before she proceeded to sit at her usual spot on the dining table.

"Well Uncle, I decided to come here and have one last breakfast with you before I leave" said Wura as she smiled.

"Well I am happy that you did my dear" said Nigel as he smiled, he had been eating alone as of late, and it made him feel lonely.

"How are you Uncle?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"I am good my dear, and I certainly will be missing you once you leave" said Nigel as he smiled and Wura smiled at him as she ate her breakfast, even though she really did not have an appetite, she did not know why.

"I will miss you too Uncle, but just know that when I return Liam will be with me" said Wura as she smiled and Nigel smiled at her, he was sure that he would be.

"So are you ready my dear?" asked Nigel.

"Ahh well…" said Wura as there was really nothing to be ready about, they were leaving into the unknown, into uncharted territory, and she was not sure if she was ready, but one thing that she knew for sure was that she was not backing down, not now.

"Uncle I am ready, I am ready for anything…" said Wura.

"Well my dear, I bid you a safe journey" said Nigel as he smiled.

"Thank you uncle, and please take care of yourself" said Wura.

"I will my dear, I will" said Nigel as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.

"Now, finish your breakfast dear" said Nigel.

"Yes Uncle" said Wura as she smiled and she nodded her head as she ate her food.

Wura sighed to herself as she walked to the stables, she just had to many memories here, so many good ones, with Liam, and bad ones as well, so much so that she did not want to be here, not without him, this place had become their place without her even realizing it.

Wura walked into the stables as she was about to continue on, on her way, until she heard a neigh coming from a particular stall as she stopped and she turned to look at the stall as she opened the gate and she saw Nolan there as she smiled.

"Oh Nolan, boy, you are alright" said Wura as she stoked Nolan's mane and he neighed as she sighed, she had thought that something bad had happened to him when he got spooked and he ran away, but here he was safe and sound.

"I missed you boy, I am so sorry that I forgot about you" said Wura as she apologized and Nolan just neighed as she sighed and she looked at him helplessly.

"Do you want to take him with you?" asked Mero as Wura turned to look at him as he stood right across of where she was.
