Brother

"I see" said Liam as he kept his eyes on the pendant.

"Yes…" said Wura as she could feel her heart beating faster, did he finally remember? She would be so overjoyed if he did.

"Why… why do you ask? Is something wrong?" asked Wura as she looked at him and Liam stopped looking at the heart shaped pendant as he looked at Wura.

"No, nothing is wrong, I just thought that it is rather familiar" said Liam.

"Oh…" said Wura with a hint of disappointment, she had thought that maybe Liam seeing his mother's pendant would evoke some memories that he could remember, to her dismay, it did not, it made her wonder just how serious Liam's enchantment was that he could not even remember something he held very dear.

She remembered just how upset he was when he first saw her wearing it, that was when they had one of their first official arguments, she had never seen him like that before… so angry…. It hurt her back then, but it would make her feel overjoyed right now if he could remember that/

"Yes…" replied Lian as he looked at the pendant again, he did not know why, but there was a sense of familiarity as he saw that pendant, as if he had seen if before, but he just could not remember where, it was as if his memories were blocked when he tried to go to those parts of it.

"Maybe it is familiar because your wife might have a pendant like this" said Wura as she wanted to give him mind a push to remember.

"No, I have not seen her wearing any pendants or necklaces, only her ring" said Liam as Wura wondered just who the heck Liam was seeing in his dreams, it ticked her off, she was annoyed, another woman was pretending to be her, she hated it so much.

"I see" said Wura as she felt so fed up, just what did she have to do for Liam to finally remember her.

"What can I do for you both" came the voice of an old looking man as he came out from the stall.

"Ahh, good morning" said Wura as she smiled at the old man.

"Good morning fair lady" said the old man as he smiled at Wura.

"What can I do for you?" asked the old man as he smiled.

"I want to buy a sword" said Wura as she smiled.

"Why would a pretty, fair lady as yourself want to buy a sword?" asked the old man in curiosity.

"Ahh, well no, the word Is not for me, it is for my brother" said Wura as she smiled and Wura looked at Liam as he looked at her, since when was he her brother?

"I see" said the old man.

"Yes" said Wura as she nodded her head, she did not want to be asked many unnecessary questions by the old man, so she decided that it would be best for her to hide behind a pretence of buying it for Liam, she was sure that the old man would not question her if she said that it was for Liam, and not for her.

"So which sword would you like boy?" asked the old man as he looked at Liam and Liam looked at him as he stopped looking at Wura, he wondered why she lied that he was her brother.

"I think that you would like to choose for me Lily" said Liam as he turned to look at Wura.

"Ahh yes… how about this one?" said Wura as she pointed to the sword on the right as the old man picked it up and he handed it to her.

"Are you sure about that one fair lady?" asked the old man as Wura held the sword and she gave it to Liam.

"I think that this is a bit too heavy for a beginner" said Liam as he held the sword.

"I agree with your brother" said the old man as Liam felt like scoffing, since when was she his brother?

"Hmm, alright," said Wura as she looked at the other swords, she had to find something lighter for herself.

"What about that one?" asked Wura as she pointed to a sword that looked light in her eyes.

"Good choice fair lady" said the man as he picked up the sword and he handed it to Wura as she liked the way it felt, and she handed it to Liam with a smile as she looked back at the old man.

"How much is it?" asked Wura as she smiled.

"5 gold coins" replied the man.

"I will reduce the price for you, seeing as you are a young pretty lady" said the old man as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.

"Thank you sir, you really are kind" said Wura as she smiled brightly at him.

"Oh dear, do not cause an old man to faint with that smile of yours" said the old man as he smiled and Wura laughed at him as she got the pouch that Nora gave her and she brought out 5 gold coins as she handed It them to the man.

"Thank you dear" said the old man as Wura smiled at him.

"You have a very beautiful sister, take care of her" said the old man as he looked at Liam and Liam just smiled at him.

"Come on Liam, let us go now, Darla should be back by now" said Wura as she turned to look at Liam as he was holding the sword for her.

"You will need this dear" said the old man as he handed Wura a sheath to put her sword in.

"Oh I forgot, thank you" said Wura as she was about to pay for the sheath.

"No need to pay dear, you can have it" said the old man.

"Thank you" said Wura as she smiled and Liam put the sword in its sheath as he held it and they walked away as the old man looked at them as they disappeared among the crowd, the wondered what humans were doing in the Yonder Realm.

"So I am your brother?" asked Liam as he looked at Wura as they tried to go back the way they came.

"Hmm?" asked Wura as she looked at him, she did not hear what he said.

"Since when was I your brother?" asked Liam once again.

"Oh umm that, I did not want the old man asking any unnecessary questions, so it was better for me to say that" said Wura as she explained.

"I can understand that, but why would you call me your brother? You could not think of anything better?" asked Liam as he did not know why he was ticked off by the mere thought of being called her brother, did he look like a brother to her? Not at all, he did not know why he considered that an insult.

"Well that was what I could come up with at the moment" replied Wura.

"And besides, why does it bother you so much?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam and she could see the annoyance on his face, it was an expression that she had not seen on him in a long time.

"It does not matter" said Liam as he scoffed and he continued walking.

"No, there is something Liam, tell me, why do you look annoyed?" asked Wura as Liam said nothing at all.

"Brother, Brother, why are you upset? Do you not like being called my brother?" asked Wura with a smile as Liam looked at her, she could see the ticked expression on his face, and she loved it, she could tell that he hated being called a brother, and she enjoyed annoying him a lot.

"Do I look like your brother to you?" asked Liam as he stopped walking and he turned to look at Wura who was just smiling at him, which made him even more annoyed.

"Well yes brother, you are like my brother" said Wura as she kept on going, she wanted to push him over the edge, and she did not know why, she just loved to do so.

"Stop calling me brother, I am not your brother Lily" said Liam as Wura just smiled at him, she felt like pinching his nose right now, he looked so cute, so much so that she almost did pinch his nose, but she stopped herself before she could do anything stupid.

"But Brother Liam, you are so tall, handsome, kind… sweet" said Wura as she watched Liam's expression carefully.

"Do not call me your brother, if you call me your brother one more time I will…." Said Liam as he paused.

"What will you do… hmm brother?" asked Wura as she raised an eyebrow at him with a smile, she wanted to see what he would do, she was curious.

"You know what, forget it, you are so annoying" said Liam as he scoffed, she was doing this on purpose, he could see it, he found her so annoying when she was like this.

Wura just laughed at his reaction, now that was her Liam, always letting her have her way, unless he was really ticked off and serious, she missed him so much, she wanted him to come back to her soon.

"Alright, I am sorry Liam, I was just joking" said Wura as she laughed and Liam just scoffed at her.

"You were being annoying Lily" said Liam.

"I know, and I am sorry, I just do not know why calling you my brother affects you so much" said Wura as she laughed and Liam paused, he did not know why as well.

"You are sweet, thank you for holding my sword for me" said Wura as she smiled and she quickly gave him a kiss on his right cheek as she took her sword from him and she walked away quickly with a smile as Liam stood there in surprise.

She kissed him on the cheek?? Liam quickly snapped out of his surprised state as he ran to catch up with Wura as she did not look at him at all, she felt so embarrassed, she had never initiated kissing him before, even if it was only on the cheeks, he was usually the one who kissed her, often without her permission, but now, she was not complaining.

Wura and Liam walked in silence as they walked out of the gate as they were met with an angry looking Darla.

"Just where did the two of you go?" asked Darla as she walked to them in anger.

"Liam went with me to buy a sword" said Wura as she explained and Darla did not seem to care for her explanation at all as she scolded her.

"Did you not hear me when I said that everyone should stay put?" asked Darla.

"Well yes and I…" said Wura as she was cut off.

"Save it, I gave my orders, and you wen behind me to do something completely different from what I said" said Darla.

"Do you know how dangerous it is to go there alone, and much more less when you are human?" asked Darla as she snapped at Wura.

"Well I…" said Wura as she was cut off once again, Darla was not letting her get a chance to explain herself.

"Enough, do not say anything, because you broke my rule" said Darla.

"Darla, enough, she did not go alone, I went along with her, we were fine" said Liam as Darla just looked at him and she ignored him.

"Look, just because Liam will condone your behaviour does not mean that I will" said Darla as she looked at Wura.

"You are not Queen, and we are not your men or subjects, you do not make the rules here, I do, and whatever I say goes, if you do not like it, then you can leave if you want, whichever you prefer" said Darla as Wura just looked at her, she had never been spoke to like that before.

She could see the hate in Darla's eyes as she spoke to her, she had never seen anyone look at her like that before.

"I am sorry, I admit that I was wrong, it will not be repeated again" said Wura as she just looked at Darla and she walked past her to Mero who was holding her horse as she took her horse from him and she got on top of him.

"Good that you know" said Darla as she scoffed.

"You went too far Darla" said Liam as he looked at Darla as she just looked at him.

"We do not have any time for this Liam, we need to be on our way" said Darla as she walked to her own horse and she mounted on it as Liam did the same and they began to ride.

"My lady, are you alright?" asked Nora as Zuph rode closer to Wura as she snapped Wura out of her thoughts, she was sure that Wura was not happy with the way she was spoken to.

"I am fine Nora" replied Wura as she did admit that she broke Darla's rule.

"Alright my lady" said Nora as she nodded her head and Wura sighed internally.

Liam turned to look at Wura, he did not like the way Darla spoke to her at all, she did not deserve to be spoken to that way, and Malcom and Dothan felt the same as well, but they could say nothing to Darla at all, not when she was in a state of anger, she would not listen to them.
