Blasted thing

"That is not the point my lady, it is dangerous here" said Mero as he turned to look at Wura.

"Mero, everything is dangerous to you, everything" said Wura as she scoffed, she was tired of hearing Mero say that at this point.

Mero just sighed as he continued facing off the beast that was in front of him, while Wura did not know what Mero was so angry about, it was obvious that these things could neither see or hear them, all they did was roar, and go after Darla and her brothers, which was why Wura did not feel scared at all to come here and face them, even though they looked ghastly and horrible.

They were very terrible looking creatures, their pale green skin, and their deformed wings that appeared like the wings of bats, and their overall stature, those were the only things that made them feel even scary at all, but apart from that, they were easy to take care off.

In a matter of minutes all four beasts had been slayed down to the ground as nothing remained but a pool of green blood.

"I do not understand there were four of them, it would seem that they were looking for us already" said Wura as she tried to think about this logically, for the past three days, they had not seen any of these beasts at all, and suddenly, they all show up in a group of four.

"I agree, it would seem that they have been following us" said Liam as he looked at Wura and Wura looked at him.

"I believe it is because of Darla and her brothers, they probably want to eat them" said Elihu as Mero looked at him.

"Elihu, do not say such nonsense" said Mero as he shook his head.

"Darla did say that they know when one of them have been killed, so they must have been following us for a while now" said Liam.

"Well they should stop following us then, I do not know what those things are made off, I believe my sword could have broken if it had to deal with any more of them" said Elihu as he sighed and in that same moment, a mighty roar tore throughout barren wilderness as they all looked up to see something that made Wura become frightened.

"What in the…" said Elihu as the roar came again, and they all looked up to see the biggest beast that they had ever seen in their entire time of being here, it was twice the size of all of the other beasts.

"I think that we have met their leader" said Elihu as the gigantic beast landed on its two feet on the ground as it looked around and they all stayed completely still.

"That looks like a giant" said Wura as she could not believe what she was seeing right now.

The beast looked around, it could see nothing, neither could it hear nothing, but it could smell, it could smell the scent of blood, and apart from that, a mouth watering scent, it smelt like the scent of werewolf.

The beast roared as Wura felt like the ground could tremble from the magnitude of the roar, the beast flared its nostrils as it caught sight of the werewolves that it was smelling.

"It is going to go for Darla and her brothers, we have to kill it now" said Liam as he noticed what the beast was looking for as Mero and Elihu nodded as Wura stayed back, and they all charged to the beast as they started to cut its feet at the beast cried out in pain as it fell down to the ground with a mighty thud that made the entire ground shake, that even Zuph and the rest could feel it where they were.

The beast began to wave its hands in the air, as if trying to swat away whatever it Is that had been attacking him.

Liam did not waste a second at all as he climbed on top of the beast quickly as he ran on the beasts chest towards it's hard as Liam drove his sword right through the beast's heart as the beast cried in pain and Liam removed his sword as the blood gushed out.

The beast let out one last screeching cry as it closed its eyes, and Liam got down from it as in the same moment to all their surprise, unlike all the other beasts, this beast melted as it's blood exploded and it's green blood covered them all.

"Oh my…." Said Wura as she opened her eyes, and she looked at herself, she was covered in green slimy beast blood, in her hair, everywhere, and so were the others.

Liam rubbed his face as he opened his eyes, he did not expect that at all, none of them did.

"Just what is it?? That blasted thing dare do this to us, look at me, I am ruined, I am dirty" said Elihu as he looked at himself.

"Can you not be grateful that you did not get the beast's blood into your mouth Elihu" said Mero as Elihu frowned at him.

"Can you see me, all covered in nothing but green beast's blood, this has ruined my look" said Elihu as he whined and Mero scoffed at him.

"Even our lady is not complaining about her appearance" said Mero as he pointed to Wura who shook her head, sure she was not complaining, but her hair, her hair was just horrible right now, the blood was all over her.

Liam looked at her his hands as they were sticky, he was sticky and green.

"Luckily the blood does not seem to smell" said Mero as Wura sighed, she was starting to regret staying behind, just how was she supposed to get all of this off her? There was not any water here for miles.

"Come on, let us go and catch up with Darla and the others" said Liam as he turned around to hold his horse by the reins, he could not ride on him when he was like this.

"Yes, let us" said Mero as he and Wura followed after Liam with their own horses as Elihu whined and groaned.

"Liam, what happened to you?" asked Darla as she rushed to Liam as she saw him covered in green, slimy blood.

"*Gasp*, my lady, what happened to you?" asked Nora as she rushed to Wura and she gasped when she saw Wura was covered head to toe in a green, slimy substance.

"The beast's blood" said Wura as she replied.

"Cool" said Malcom and Dothan as they laughed and Wura shook her head at them as they laughed.

"The last beast that we fought decided to burst and spray its blood all over us" said Liam as Darla looked at him with worry, she hoped that the blood was not harmful to humans at all.

"My lady, just how are we going to get this off you, it is everywhere, in your hair… everywhere…" said Nora in concern, she was relieved that she did not get sprayed on with the beast's blood.

"I do not know Nora" said Wura as she sighed.

"Lily, you should keep this new look of yours, it really suits you" said Malcom as he and Dothan laughed.

"Oh really now, how about we all look like this together then?" asked Wura as she walked to where Malcom and Dothan were standing as she attempted to hug them as Malcom and Dothan ran away.

"Hey I thought you said that it suits me, so it should suite you as well" said Wura as she blocked Dothan's way as he turned back.

"No, no, I do not want beast's blood on me" said Dothan as he laughed and Wura scoffed, the two of them had big mouths, if she was mean, she would have thrown some of the beast's blood on them as well.

"We need to get this off you Liam" said Darla in worry.

"Excuse me, Liam Is not the only one in despair right now, just take a look at me, I was dashing and handsome a moment ago, and now I am covered in this slobber" said Elihu as Liam chuckled and Darla scoffed at Elihu as she looked at Liam.

"I can hear water running nearby, come on, maybe we can find its source so we can clean you up" said Darla as she took Liam's hand, not even caring that it was all sticky and covered in beast blood.

"Of course, do not care about any of us at all" said Elihu as he scoffed.

"Elihu, can you please relax, you sound like a woman, and even out lady is stronger than you, she has not complained once" said Zuph in annoyance as Wura laughed.

"Shut up Zuph, I know how I take care of myself, how do you think that I always look so handsome?" asked Elihu as Mero scoffed and so did Zuph as, Nora, Wura, Malcom and Dothan could not help but chuckle.

"Come on, let us follow after Darla and Liam" said Wura as she pulled her horse behind her after Darla and Liam.
