A hug

Wura sighed as she pursed her lips and she ran her fingers through her hair, it was annoying her a lot, she had been too lazy to try to do something bearable with her hair, she wondered if she should maybe decide to cut her hair, it would be nice and different for a change.

Wura played with strands of her hair as the door to her room opened and Nora walked in.

"My lady, what is wrong you look annoyed" said Nora as she walked into the room with clothes that she had just washed.

"My hair is annoying me, I want to cut it, anything, just to get rid of it" said Wura as she groaned and Nora sighed in worry.

"My lady, are you alright?" asked Nora as Wura groaned even more, she was just getting even more annoyed and angry, she was just in a very bad mood today.

"No Nora, I am not okay, I feel so bad right now, my insides are tossing a turning" said Wura as she held her stomach.

"Oh why could I not have been born as a man? they certainly do not go through this sort of torture" said Wura as she sighed and she laid on her bed.

"My lady, do you feel worse?" asked Nora.

"I feel so bad, this is the worst that I have felt in days" said Wura as she sighed and she rubbed her temples as her hair was all scattered around her face.

"My lady, should I boil you some hot water so it can lessen the pain?" asked Nora.

"No Nora, you have done your best today for me, you even washed the clothes that I ruined, you have done too much for me, just leave me, I will be fine" said Wura as she sighed.

"Are you sure my lady, it is not bother at all" said Nora.

"No Nora, I am just fine" said Wura as she sighed.

"Then should I help you with your hair my lady?" asked Nora as Wura was squirming on the bed, of all the times she had been through with this, this had to be the worst, and worst of all, it was putting her in such a bad mood, she felt bad for Nora having to deal with her like this.

"No Nora, I will be fine" said Wura.

"My lady, I do not like seeing you like this, what can I do to make you feel better?" asked Nora.

"Give me a hug, I just need a hug" said Wura as she got out of bed.

"A hug?" asked Nora as Wura nodded her head.

"Alright my Queen" said Nora as she gave Wura a hug.

"Do you feel better now my Queen?" asked Nora as she broke their hug.

"Yes Nora, I do" said Wura as she smiled and she nodded her head as Nora smiled.

"Oh thank you for putting up with me Nora, I can be such a horrible, demanding person when I am like this, and you do not even seem tired with my many requests" said Wura as she smiled.

"I understand you my lady, when going through such, you forget about your sanity" said Nora as she laughed and Wura laughed, she had to agree about that.

"Oh my lady, before I forget, Malcom and Dothan told me that we will be leaving by noon today" said Nora.

"I see" said Wura.

"Yes my lady, but with the way that you are feeling now, are you sure that you would want to continue on the journey?" asked Nora.

"I will be fine Nora, besides, I do not want us to put a hold on our plans just because I feel a bit under the weather, I do not want to have to explain why to the others, so it is best that we carry on like it is another day" said Wura.

"Alright my lady, if you say so" said Nora as she smiled.

"My lady, let me pack everything" said Nora as she smiled.

"I will help you, and let me do it" said Wura as Nora nodded her head and Wura smiled in satisfaction.

"Liam, I will be right back, you and the boys stay here" said Darla as she finished saddling her horse.

"Where are you going?" asked Liam.

"To the market, I remembered that I need to get something first before we leave" said Darla.

"Alright then" said Liam as Darla smiled at him.

"Boys do not go anywhere, I will be right back" said Darla as she walked away as a few minutes later, Nora and Wura walked to where they were all standing as Zuph offered to help Nora carry all their bags, which she allowed him to do.

Liam looked at Wura as this was the first time he had seen her in two days, she had stayed in her room, and he had not seen her, he wondered if she was alright, but clearly she was alright.

"Hello Lily" said Dothan as he smiled and Wura walked to him.

"Hello Dothan, Hello Malcom" said Wura as she smiled at them, and Mero handed her horse to her as she thanked him and her eyes met Liam's as she did not know what to say, this was the first time that she had seen him in two days.

"Hello Lily" said Liam as he smiled.

"Hello Liam…" said Wura as she smiled, she had deliberately decided not to see him for two days, she needed to get her head clear and go back to her normal self, and she had to agree that doing that did her some good, she realized that her world did not have to revolve around Liam, or Darla, Liam was her husband yes, but she needed to let things move in their own course.

"How are you?" asked Liam.

"Good…" replied Wura as she looked at him.

"That is nice" said Liam as he smiled.

"Yes… and how are you?" asked Wura as she looked at him.

"Good as well" said Liam as he smiled and Wura nodded as Malcom and Dothan wondered what happened between both of them, they were just acting so weird with each other.

Darla walked back to where everyone was as she saw Wura there as she frowned and her nose she could smell the scent of blood.

"Darla did you get what you wanted?" asked Liam as Darla looked at him and she smiled as she nodded her head.

"Let us go now" said Darla as she mounted her horse and they all did the same.

Liam occasionally glanced at Wura, she seemed to be in her own world, he was worried about her, she did not usually act like this, ever since two days ago, she had been behaving strangely.

Liam decided to ride next to Wura as he snapped her out of her thoughts and she looked at him in confusion.

"Are you alright?" asked Liam as he looked at her.

"Ahh… well yes… I am fine" said Wura as she replied.

"Why do you ask?" asked Wura as she did not know why it seemed like Liam was worried for her.

"Well you seem absent minded" said Liam.

"And well, I do not know if I am thinking too much, but it seems like you have been avoiding me" said Liam as Wura was surprised by what he said.

"Avoiding you?" asked Wura as Liam nodded and she laughed as she could not believe this, the truth was that yes, she had been avoiding him, but was it that obvious.

"Well no… I have not been avoiding you" said Wura as she laughed.

"But I did not see you for two days, you stayed in your room all day" said Liam.

"Well I just preferred to be alone for a while and think" said Wura as she smiled.

"I did not think that you were so sensitive, why would I avoid you?" asked Wura as she laughed and Liam just looked at her, the truth was that Liam thought that Darla had said something to Wura to make her feel upset, and hence why she was avoiding him.

"I am not sensitive, I was just worried about you" said Liam as Wura did not want to be played with again, her heart was tired of this, him saying sweet words to her, but the only words that she wanted to hear were that he remembered her, only those words that he remembered her.

"Well you do not have to worry, I am just fine" said Wura as she smiled and Liam could not help but think that he did something wrong for her to be so cold towards him.

"Did I do something to upset you?" asked Liam.

"No, no you did nothing at all… *sigh*, I am just not in a good mood today, I feel really bad, and I have been grumpy all day, so please do not mind me, I am just fine, you did nothing wrong" said Wura as she sighed and smiled and Liam was relieved that he did not do anything to hurt her.

"Alright, I hope that you feel better soon" said Liam as he smiled.

"I will, thank you Liam" said Wura as she smiled as she looked ahead and she saw what looked like a mighty wall that was built very high, it looked like they were approaching a city that was closed with walls.

"Everyone we are approaching the territory of the giants, everyone be quiet, and let me do all the talking" said Darla as the others nodded.

"Giants?" asked Wura in confusion as Zuph, Mero, Nora, Elihu and Liam all had the same look of confusion that she had on their faces.
