Not comfortable

Liam looked at Wura as she was focusing on unwrapping his bandages, she had been behaving strangely ever since this morning, and Liam did not know why at all, at first he thought that maybe it was only a one time thing and she would be back to her usual self, but no, it still felt like she was avoiding him.

"Lily are you upset with me?" asked Liam seriously as he just had to ask, if she was, then he would apologize, he did not like how she was avoiding him.

"No, I am not upset with you, why would you think that?" asked Wura as she answered but she still did not look at him.

"Then why have you been avoiding me Lily?" asked Liam.

"No Liam… I… I am not avoiding you" said Wura as she replied.

"Then look at me" said Liam as Wura hesitated.

"Look at me" he said as Wura sighed and she looked at him.

"You are avoiding me" said Liam as Wura felt guilty, he looked hurt.

"No Liam, that is not it at all, I am not avoiding you…" said Wura as she explained.

"But your behaviour towards me has changed" said Liam.

"No Liam, not at all" said Wura a she did not want to have to explain why she felt so embarrassed.

"I… *Sigh*, I just feel so embarrassed" said Wura as she just said it out.

"Why?" asked Liam.

"Well I… I am just not comfortable with how close I was to you, and I feel embarrassed because I could not control myself" said Wura as she bit her lip.

"You do not have to be embarrassed at all you were sleeping, besides, I do not mind" said Liam as he smiled.

"You do not mind, but I mind, a lot" said Wura.

"Is it because of your husband?" asked Liam.

"Yes, it is because of him" said Wura as she nodded.

"Is it because you feel like you are being unfaithful to him?" asked Liam.

"No, it is not that… I can never be unfaithful to him" replied Wura.

"I feel like I am starting to forget him… because I have not been able to find him, and I do not want to move on at all" said Wura as she looked away.

"I feel the same as well Lily, and I understand, but I doubt that you can ever forget someone that you truly love so much" said Liam.

"You think so?" asked Wura a she looked at him.

"Yes, I do not think that you can ever forget them, they will always be somewhere in your heart" said Liam as he smiled.

"Liam, I am sorry that I made you feel like I was avoiding you" said Wura as Liam smiled at her.

"It is alright Lily, I understand" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled at him.

"I just never knew that you could be such a deep sleeper" said Liam as he laughed.

"Well I did not know that as well" said Wura as she laughed, but now that she thought about it, it was true that she was a deep sleeper, once she was sleeping, nothing, or no one could wake her up.

"I like talking with you Lily" said Liam as he smiled.

"And so do I Liam" said Wura as she smiled and she continued to unwrap Liam's bandages.

"Wonderful, your wounds have healed completely Liam" said Wura in awe as she looked at Liam's abdomen, she was about to change his bandages, thinking that there would still be a wound there, but there was nothing at all, his skin looked just like normal, it was clear, without even a scar.

"That is wonderful news" said Liam as he smiled.

"It means that I have recovered and we can continue on our journey" said Liam as he smiled.

"Yes" said Wura as she smiled.

"I just have to ask, are the rats out of your room yet?" asked Liam.

"Well sadly not, apparently rats are very hard to get rid of, I do not even know how those things got into the room, it still baffles me" said Wura as she sighed and Liam laughed.

"You know it Is strange that only your room was invaded with rats" said Liam as he laughed.

"If I did not know any better, I would think that maybe someone put them there on purpose" said Liam as he laughed.

"I can believe that, I think that maybe Da…" said Wura as she stopped herself from saying anything further.

"What was that?" asked Liam as he did not hear her finish her sentence.

"Ahh do not mind me, I was just going to say that Darla was very nice for going all the way to another town to get you these potions that work very well" said Wura as she smiled.

"I agree with you, she can be very nice If she wants to be" said Liam as he smiled.

"Have you… have you forgiven her for what she did to me?" asked Wura as she hesitated.

"Well yes, we all make mistakes, and what is important is that we learn from them, she told me that she was sorry, and she felt bad for what she did" said Liam.

"And you believe her?" asked Wura.

"Yes I do" said Liam as he nodded his head.

"If she was really sorry then she would come and apologize to me" said Wura as she scoffed, she had not received a single apology from Darla at all.

"I agree with that" said Liam.

"Do not tell her that she has to apologize, if she wants to do so, then she must come to me on her own accord" said Wura.

"Well will you forgive if her if she asks for your forgiveness?" asked Liam.

"Well my father used to say that…" said Wura as she removed the bandages on Liam's shoulder.

"Only a fool would not forgive when an offender asks for your forgiveness, because even if they offend you again, the one in the wrong will always come to ask for the forgiveness of the one in the right" said Liam.

"So who am I to hold my forgiveness away from them?" asked Wura as she looked at Liam.

"Your father is right, and he also sounds like a very wise man" said Liam as he smiled.

"He is, very wise, and he is a wonderful man, and I love him and miss him very much" said Wura as she smiled and Liam smiled at her.

"I wish that I could remember my own father" said Liam as he smiled sadly.

"You will, and he was a wonderful man" said Wura as she spoke without thinking and she quickly scolded herself internally.

"You know him?" asked Liam in confusion as the way Wura replied with so much sureness surprised him.

"Ahh well no… I just think that if he raised you then he would be a wonderful man as well" said Wura as she smiled.

"I see" said Liam as he smiled and Wura smiled at him as she sighed internally in relief, her and her big mouth, she was about to talk herself into something that she would not be able to get out of.

"Well you are completely healed now, I am sure that the others will be very happy to hear the good news" said Wura as she smiled and Liam smiled at her.

"Nora" called Mero as he walked into the kitchen, knowing fully well that he would find her here.

"Oh Sir Mero, what can I do for you?" asked Nora as she turned to look at Mero and she smiled as Zuph walked into the kitchen after Mero.

"Nora, do you know where I left my leather sack?" asked Zuph.

"Oh, I am not sure Zuph, maybe you left it saddled on your horse" said Nora as she smiled.

"Oh alright then, thank you Nora" said Zuph as he smiled.

"You are welcome" said Nora as she smiled and Zuph walked away.

"Sir Mero, do you need anything?" asked Nora as Mero just looked at her.

"Did her Majesty speak to you?" asked Mero.

"Ahh well yes, she did, and she told me that his Majesty had healed completely, and she also told me that she is sleeping outside with me whether I like it or not" said Nora.

"I see" said Mero.

"Yes, is there something else that you want to know?" asked Nora.

"Well no, I will tell her Majesty that we will be leaving tomorrow" said Mero.

"Oh alright then" said Nora as she nodded her head and Mero walked away, this would be the last time that she would ever be an accomplice in one of Mero's plans to get Wura and Liam together, it was just too much, and it also made Wura upset, which was something that Nora wanted to avoid severely.
