Think of things

Malcom sighed in annoyance, he was bored, being with Mero was so boring, the man never spoke, and he did not look at him at all, and Malcom was used to speaking, right now, he would have preferred it if he had gone with one of the others.

Malcom glanced at Mero, who was a quiet as usual, and by now Malcom was tired of all the quietness, so he was going to speak.

"So what if Lily is unable to make Liam remember her by the time that we reach the first city? Then what?" asked Malcom as Mero looked at Malcom and he sighed internally; Malcom had snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Why do talk too much?" asked Mero.

"Why do you talk too little?" asked Malcom as he shot the question back at Mero, he did not get it, he was always so quiet, and always looking so serious, which made it hard to even try to figure out what he was thinking about.

"Because nothing good comes out of speaking too much" said Mero as he replied.

"And nothing good does not come out of silence as well" said Malcom as he looked at Mero.

"Oh good things do come out of silence, for one, no one can use words that you have never said against you" said Mero.

"Why would anyone want to use your words against you?" asked Malcom.

"Trust me Malcom, many people would want to" said Mero as Malcom did not see how that made any sense.

"To me it just seems that you are very distrustful man, who just likes to die in utter silence" said Malcom.

"When you have dealt with half the things that I have dealt with, you will realize that what I am saying is the truth boy" said Mero.

"I doubt that, what exactly have you dealt with?" asked Malcom in confusion.

"The world is truly wicked, just remember that, and only if you keep yourself will you be safe" said Mero.

"Whatever you say Mero, but you did not answer my first question, what you are going to do when we reach the first city and Liam still does not remember Lily, then what?" asked Malcom.

"Whatever will happen, will happen" said Mero.

"That is not enough of an answer" said Malcom.

"And you are rather nosy" said Mero as Malcom just smiled at him.

"You do not tell me what you plan to do" said Malcom.

"Everything will sort out itself in due time, what will happen will happen" said Mero.

"You really think that?" asked Malcom as he looked at Mero.

"I do" replied Mero.

"Well that is not a very good way to think of things" said Malcom.

"Silence" said Mero as Malcom sighed and he nodded his head.

"Fine, but if I lose my voice, it is your fault" said Malcom as Mero just shook his head.

Wura sighed internally as she and Liam were riding in silence, now that she thought about it, she did not know why she felt some kind of sense of peace when she and Liam slept on the same bed together.

She could not help but smile, she loved being with him so much, and yet it killed her that he still did not remember her, and she had tried to remind him, she spoke about some moments that he should have remembered and yet nothing, no response at all, it made her feel even worse than before.

"What are you thinking about?" asked Liam as he poked Wura's nose and she turned to look at him in surprise.

"Nothing…" replied Wura as she looked at him.

"Why did you poke my nose?" asked Wura in surprise.

"Oh that…" said Liam as he did not even know why he poked her nose, he just thought that she was looking very cute, and before he knew it, he had poked her nose.

"I do not know" said Liam as Wura looked at him in surprise.

"Really Liam? You do not know why you would poke someone's nose?" asked Wura as Liam nodded.

"Oh Liam, you are not serious" said Wura as she laughed and she shook her head, she wondered if he was alright or what.

"How would you like it if I poked your own nose just like that, with no warning at all?" asked Wura as Liam just laughed at her, which made her feel even more annoyed as she stretched out her hand to the right to find Liam's nose and poke it as well, which made Liam laugh even more, she had short hands.

He was on his horse and she was on hers, and she tried to reach out and poke his nose but she could not do it at all.

"Oh curse my short hands" said Wura to herself as she scoffed.

"I think that you should stop trying to reach over here Lily, before you end up falling off your horse" said Liam as he laughed.

"Oh you be quiet, I am not going to fall, you are so annoying, come over here so I can pay you back with your own actions" said Wura as Liam laughed.

"Stop laughing and come over here" said Wura.

"Alright, alright fine, I will come over to you, just stop reaching out for me, I do not want you falling" said Liam as he laughed.

"Fine" said Wura as she stopped reaching out for him and she stopped her horse as Liam laughed and he moved his horse closer to her as he made the horse stay still and as soon as he was close to Wura, she pinched his nose.

"I thought that you were only going to poke my nose" said Liam as he laughed.

"Poking and pinching are mostly the same thing" said Wura as she laughed and Liam laughed.

"Anyway, we are even now" said Wura as she laughed.

"And you call me the childish one" said Liam as he laughed and he shook his head.

"Well you started it, I only emulate what I see" said Wura as she smiled.

"Like a child" said Liam as Wura stuck her tongue out at him briefly.

"And so what if I am? I am younger than you, so you have to be the one to act maturely" said Wura as she laughed.

"You know, that is really not fair coming from you, are you indirectly trying to tell me that I am old?" asked Liam as he raised an eyebrow at her.

"Well what do you think?" asked Wura as she laughed, because of course no she did not think that Liam was old at all, he was young and able-bodied.

"Oh I see, so this is how it is" said Liam as he smiled.

"How what is? I do not know what you are talking about Liam" said Wura as she smiled innocently at him.

"How about I show you that I am not as old as you think?" asked Liam.

"And how exactly would you do that?" asked Wura as Liam leaned in closer to her and she felt her heart skip a beat.

"Wait and see" said Liam as he pulled away and he smiled as he sat up straight on his horse and Wura caught her breath as she looked at him in nothing but confusion as Liam started to ride his horse.

"Liam, what are you doing? Where are you going?" asked Wura as Liam rode away from her.

"Watch and see Lily" said Liam as he smiled and he shouted back as he continued to ride his horse as Wura wondered just what he was up to, until he turned back and he started to ride back to her, and then Wura saw Liam do what looked like he was trying to stand up.

"Wait Liam, wait, do not tell me that you are trying to stand up on a moving horse?" asked Wura in nothing but disbelief and concern.

"I will" said Liam as he smiled.

"Liam are you insane, do not try that, what if you fall and hit your head? Stop this madness right this instant, this is dangerous, very dangerous" said Wura as Liam did not seem to listen to her as he stood up on his moving horse as if he had done it several times.

"Liam stop it, sit down, do not stand like that" said Wura in nothing but worry as Liam just smiled at her.

"You see, I am perfectly alright Lily" said Liam as Wura still did not look pleased at all.

"I see, I see, just stop it and sit back down" said Wura as Liam laughed and he attempted to sit back down when suddenly his horse slowed down without warning and that cause Liam to lose his balance and slip as he fell down from his horse.

"Liam!" said Wura in worry as she gasped and she quickly got off her horse and she rushed to Liam who had landed on the ground on his back as he coughed.

"Liam, are you alright?" asked Wura as Liam smiled at her.

"I am alright, so at least now you see that I am not that old" Liam as he coughed and he laughed as Wura scoffed at him.

"You are an idiot you know that" said Wura as she laughed and she tapped him on his cheek.

"Ouch, that hurts coming from you Lily" said Liam as Wura rolled his eyes.

"Well it is the truth, making me worry over you, what if something worse happened to you and you had hit your head on a rock? What would we do then? You really should not do dangerous things like that just to prove a stupid point, of course I do not think that you are old, you are still young and very agile and full of strength, so please do not use that strength of yours to do nonsense things just like these" said Wura as she smiled.

"You sound like a mother scolding her child" said Liam as he laughed.

"Well I am not, I am just someone who cares about you that is concerned" said Wura as she smiled and she replied as they both looked into each other's eyes as Wura realized what was going on and she cleared her throat.

"We should get going now, and you better go look for your horse Liam" said Wura as she walked away from him to her own horse as Liam laughed.

"That I will do" said Liam as he got up and Wura shook her head at him.
