"I am glad that you are feeling better" said Elihu as he did not dare come any closer to Darla.

"Yes" said Darla as she nodded her head and there was silence between them for a while, Darla wanted to say something but she just could not say what she needed to say right now.

"Darla, I am sorry for what happened to you, it is all my fault, I should have never left you alone" said Elihu as he bowed his head.

"Please forgive me" he said as he truly felt guilty for the state that she was in right now, he was only relieved that she was fine and that nothing worse happened to her, a broken foot is better than a broken life.

"No Elihu, you do not need to be sorry, and I… I should be the one to ask for your forgiveness" said Darla as Elihu looked at her in surprise, he could not believe what he was hearing right now, she was actually apologizing to him, Darla of all people, apologizing, this was something new.

"I was the one who pushed you to leave me… I was insensible, I was wicked, I was just horrible, and I realize now that my attitude back then was unbearable, and I want to make a change" said Darla as she looked down and Elihu was brought to silence, he did not know what to say, he was surprised that Darla would ever apologize to anyone, not much to even talk about him.

"When I was on the verge of death, I thought on my life, and I realize now that it was not worth it, all my wickedness, all my bad attitude, it was not worth it, I was a horrible person, and I only have one life to live, and instead of wasting it doing bad, I should use it for good, because good people live long, they will always find people to help them" said Darla.

"Being good pays… and being bad does not pay at all, Lily told me that there is nothing better to do than to let go of all the bitterness and anger that you feel, because all it does is eat you up from the inside, and I do not want that to happen to me" said Darla.

"Which is why Elihu, I ask for your forgiveness right now, because I really need it" said Darla.

"I am sorry for being wicked to you, for wronging you repeatedly, for shouting at you, for cursing you, for insulting you, for calling you an idiot many times, I am so sorry, please forgive me, because you did not deserve to be spoken to like that, you did not deserve it, so I am sorry" said Darla as she stared to sniff.

"Who am I not to forgive you Darla?" asked Elihu as Darla started to cry.

"Please forgive me Elihu, I need your forgiveness" said Darla as she cried and Elihu could not bear to see her cry, he never could get used to people crying in front of him, he did not like it at all.

"Darla, please do not cry, I beg you" said Elihu as Darla cried even more and Elihu sighed as he did not know what to do, so he walked closer to her and he hugged her as she cried.

"Please forgive me Elihu" said Darla as she cried.

"I forgive you Darla, I forgive you, please do not cry, I beg you" said Elihu as Darla nodded and she sniffed.

"Do you feel better now?" asked Elihu as Darla nodded and she sniffed.

"I am so sorry for crying on your shoulder like this" said Darla.

"No there is no need to be sorry, as long as you feel okay" said Elihu as he smiled and Darla stopped hugging him, she never knew that Elihu was such a good man, well maybe she did know it deep within her, but she had never wanted to admit it.

"Darla, do you feel okay?" asked Malcom as he walked into Darla's room without knocking and he sae Elihu there as he frowned and Elihu moved away from Darla as he cleared his throat.

"Well like I said Darla, I am glad that your foot feels better now, and I hope it heals well, I will take my leave now, hello Malcom" said Elihu as he walked past Malcom.

"Mhmm" replied Malcom as he closed the door behind Elihu and he turned to look at Darla.

"What did he want?" asked Malcom as Darla quickly wiped away her tears, she did not want Malcom to know that she had been crying.

"He came here to apologize and ask for my forgiveness" said Darla.

"I see" said Malcom.

"Do not be like that Malcom, stop blaming him for what happened to me" said Darla.

"But if he had been there, you would not have gotten hurt" said Malcom.

"It was not his fault that he was not there, I chased him off, because I was being stupid, and if anything, I asked for his forgiveness, because I need it, and you should not be angry at him anymore Malcom, I beg you, he has tolerated me enough, and he does not need you being angry with him" said Darla.

"Fine" said Malcom reluctantly.

"What do you want to tell me?" asked Darla.

"I wanted to check your foot, the healer that I bought the potion from said that because your foot is broken, it would take at least five days to heal and the bones to join back together" said Malcom.

"I see, well there is no rush at all, we cannot move until the census is done" said Darla as she hate some of her eggs.

"Yes that is true" said Malcom.

"Darla, I want to ask you something about Liam" said Malcom.

"What is it Malcom?" asked Darla.

"Do you like Liam?" asked Malcom as Darla looked at him and she did not say anything at all.

"You do, do you not?" asked Malcom as his sister's silence spoke a great deal, but Darla cleared her throat.

"No, no I do not like him, if as a friend yes, but as something else no" said Darla.

"Then how would that explain your attitude towards Lily?" asked Malcom.

"Well that was in the past, and now I see the error of my ways, Lily and I are no longer enemies, I know that I was being unfair to her" said Darla as Malcom nodded his head.

"When I realized that life was so easy to lose, I decided that it was not worth it to be bad, and to leave your loved ones, so Malcom I ask for your forgiveness" said Darla.

"Oh you know that I can never stay upset with you Darla" said Malcom as Darla smiled at him and she gestured that he give her a hug, which he did.

"Thank you" said Darla as she smiled.

"I am so tired" said Wura as she laid on her bed and she sighed as she looked up and she heard the door open as she looked up and saw Nora walk into the room with two buckets of hot water.

"Why do you have buckets of hot water with you Nora?" asked Wura in confusion.

"I want to make a bath for you my lady" said Nora as she smiled.

"But that is not necessary at all Nora, you do not have to stress yourself" said Wura.

"Oh I am not stressing myself my lady, there is a well nearby, and also it has been a while since you have had a proper bath, so I want to make one for you" said Nora as she smiled.

"Nora, me having a proper bath is not really important right now" said Wura.

"Oh but it is my lady, we are not going to be going anywhere for a long while, so we might as well get comfortable" said Nora as Wura laughed and she shook her head.

"I will put this in the bath my lady" said Nora with a smile as Wura shook her head.

"You will not allow me to refuse this bath will you now?" asked Wura as she laughed.

"No I will not my lady, if I have to, I will carry you into the water myself" said Nora as Wura laughed.

"You cannot be serious?" asked Wura as she laughed.

"No my lady, I am only joking, but I know that you need a hot relaxing bath to do you some good, you have bene through a lot lately, and did you not say that your joints are aching?" asked Nora as Wura nodded.

"So take a bath my lady" said Nora as Wura smiled.

"Well thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled.

"Let me go and get some more hot water" said Nora as she smiled and she walked out of the room as Wura laughed and she shook her head as Nora closed the door behind her.

Liam saw Nora walking and he quickly walked to catch up to her.

"Nora, do you know where Wura is?" asked Liam as Nora stopped walking.

"Ahh well yes, she is in her room, I am going to get some water for her bath" said Nora.

"I see" said Liam as he could not lie that he felt a bit sick that they had not been able to spend some time together.

"Yes" said Nora as she smiled.

"Do you want to see her?" asked Nora as she smiled.

"Ahh well no, I was only curious that is all" said Liam.

"Alright then" said Nora as she smiled and Liam smiled at her as he walked away and Wura laughed as she shook her head.

"Oh Nora, was right, that bath was wonderful" said Wura to herself as she sat down in front of the dressing table mirror and she brushed her hair gently as she smiled.

She could not help but think about Liam, did he miss her the same way that she missed him? Because she missed him, and it was not for the reason that he was far away, but for the reason that he was so close and she could not be any closer to him.

"*Sigh*, I miss you Liam" said Wura to herself as she smiled at her reflection in the mirror as Nora entered the room.

"My lady, I have something to tell you" said Nora as Wura turned to look at Nora.

"My lady, I found a girl that fell down in the well and I saved her, and she happens to be a witch, and she says that she is in my debt" said Nora as she smiled.

"I see Nora" said Wura as Nora let the girl walk in and the girl smiled.

"Greetings my lady" said the girl as she bowed her head.

"Greetings" said Wura as she smiled.

"My lady, you did say that your hair was annoying you, so I asked if she could do something about it, and she said that she would do what she could to thank me for saving her" said Nora as she smiled.

"That is not necessary Nora, really, I am glad that Nora saved you" said Wura as she smiled.

"Oh but please let me do something for you my lady, please let me pay back my debt" said the girl as Wura sighed, she seemed insistent.

"Well okay" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you my lady" said the girl as she smiled and she looked at Nora as Nora nodded and the girl looked at Wura as she waved her hand and she muttered something under her breath and the next moment Wura looked in the mirror and she gasped.

"Oh my goodness" said Wura as she gasped and she touched her hair that had suddenly turned straight and fine, all her curly hair was gone and her hair was straightened.

"Good Lord, my hair… it is straight" said Wura in surprise as she ran her fingers through her hair and it did not get tangled at all.

"I used magic to straighten your hair my lady" said the girl as she and Nora laughed.

"Oh my, magic is wonderful, it really is wonderful" said Wura.

"Thank you, thank you" said Wura as she smiled and the girl laughed.

"You are welcome my lady, but your hair will only stay straight for a few days" said the girl.

"That is still better than nothing, thank you" said Wura as she hugged the girl and the girl smiled.

"No thank you to Nora for saving me, I was about to lose consciousness when I fell into the well by accident" said the girl as she smiled.

"Well I have to go now my lady, thank you once more" said the girl as she smiled and she walked out of the room
