Stop it

"It is that easy Wura, a choice" said Elvira.

"An easy choice" said Elvira.

"Would you rather stay here, looking after a man that will never remember you, that will never love you, that will always see another woman, and not you" said Elvira.

"No! this is not true, you are just lying to me, Liam will remember me, I just… I just have to tell him the truth, he will remember me" said Wura as she felt like crying right now, but she would not, not right now at least.

"I am not lying to you Wura, if anything, I am telling you the truth, even if you tell him the truth he will never believe you, he will continue to hate you, he will spend the rest of his days going around, looking for a woman that does not exist" said Elvira.

"He will go through all that pain, all that suffering, all that heartache because of you, because of your selfishness" said Elvira.

"But I love him!" said Wura as she could not believe this, what kind of choice was she faced with? Why was everything against her? Against them, it was not fair, they did not deserve any of this at all.

"If you really love him, you will leave him be and let him live happily" said Elvira.

"But he will only be happy with me! Me his wife and no one else!" said Wura,

"You see, there you go again with your selfishness Wura, think about Liam, think will this do him any good?" asked Elvira.

"As long as you are around him, he will never know peace, he will continually be chained just like that" said Elvira as she pointed to Liam as Wura looked at him, still chained and unconscious, she could not bear to see him like that, suffering, because of her, because of everyone.

"Think about what is best for Liam's safety and wellbeing" said Elvira as the Temple was still shaking.

"Either you stay here and continue to cause him more pain and suffering, or…" said Elvira as she paused.

"Or you go back to your Kingdom, the Kingdom that you have left for the longest time now, the Kingdom that needs you, they should not lose their King and Queen as well, think about what is best for the Kingdom" said Elvira as Wura was left contemplating, she did not know what to think.

"The Kingdom needs a ruler, and to be honest, there is only so much Nigel can do, he is already getting old, do you want the Kingdom to fall in your hands?" asked Elvira as Wura said nothing.

"So you have a choice, either you stay here with Liam and cause him more pain, or you go and walk out that door and the temple will lead you to a portal that will take you back to your realm a simple choice" said Elvira.

"Stop it" said Wura as she could hear Elvira's voice over and over and over again in her head, forcing her to make a choice, a choice that she did not want to make, she cared for Liam so much, she did not want to have to leave him, she could not bear it at all.

"Make a choice" said Elvira's voice with an echo as Wura closed her eyes and she covered her ears with her hands, she could not take it, she could not take it at all.

"Stop it Elvira, Stop it!!" shouted Wura as she opened her eyes and in the corner of her eye she saw a sword on the ground as she picked It up and she threw it straight at Elvira as Elvira disappeared and the sword fell down to the ground with a thud.

"Make a choice Wura, you do not have much time left" came Elvira's voice in the room as she was nowhere to be seen and Wura could finally find some peace to think.

Wura fell down when the ground shook more violently as she struggled to stand up, she walked to where the sword had been thrown as she walked back to Liam and she cut the chains with a the sword as she threw the sword away and she knelt down beside him.

"Liam" called Wura as she held his head on her lap.

"Liam please wake up, I need you right now" said Wura as she cried and tears dropped from her eyes as they landed on Liam's face and she wiped them off.

"I really need you right now, I do not know what to do" said Wura as she sniffed and the ground was shaking.

"I do not want to leave you, I really do not want to leave you, please tell me what to do, just wake up and tell me, if you say go, then I will go, if you say stay, I will stay and never leave your side, I promise you" said Wura as she cried.

"Please just wake up, talk to me, speak to me my love, I really need you" said Wura as she cried.

She just sat there while the ground shook, crying, she did not know what to do at all, she felt stuck, trapped at a dead end, she did not want to leave Liam, and yet she knew that she had been gone from the Kingdom for so long, she needed to go back, but she did not want to have to leave alone.

Wura looked up as she sniffed, she remembered that Liam would not want to see her crying, he always wanted her to be strong through everything.

"If I leave you will find me will you not?" asked Wura as she sniffed and she caressed Liam's hair.

"To you, the Kingdom is always important right? The people need us, they need you, they need me" said Wura as she cried.

"But I do not think that I can do it without you Liam, the Kingdom needs their King, and not me, I know nothing about ruling, I am not strong enough to do it on my own, I need you" said Wura as she cried, she felt like she could hear Liam telling her that everything would be okay.

"Alright fine, I hear you, I will go, but you better come back and look for me, come back home, because I miss you so much, so very much my love" said Wura as she sniffed.

"I love you so much, so very much that you cannot imagine, and every moment that we are apart my heart feels more and empty" said Wura as she smiled.

"I love you Liam, do not ever forget that okay?" asked Wura as she leaned in and she gave Liam one last long kiss as she pulled away, and as she pulled away, she felt her heart shattering, entering int emptiness already, and yet she knew that she was still here beside him.

"I miss you my love" said Wura as she stood up, she did not want to leave him here, but she knew that he would be safe here, she knew that she had to leave, no matter how hard it was right now.

Wura did not look back anymore, she opened the door as she ran, the ground started to shake even more as it felt like the ground was elevated and she almost fell when she closed her eyes and felt someone catch her.

"My Queen, what happened?" asked Mero as Wura opened her eyes and she saw that Mero had caught her.

"Mero…" said Wura as she started to cry.

"My Queen what happened? Where is Liam?" asked Mero as Wura held on to her.

"Mero, we have to leave right now, we have to, I will explain later" said Wura as she cried and Mero looked at her.

"My Lady!" called Nora as she and Zuph ran in from the opposite direction as Mero put Wura down.

"Oh Nora, Zuph, we have to leave right now" said Wura as she sniffed and she wiped her tears, now was not the time to cry.

"Mero!" called Elihu as he ran to where they all were.

"Look, this place feels like it is going to collapse, we need to leave right now, this way" said Wura as she walked in the opposite direction, Elvira said that the Temple would lead her there right? So it better have.

"Where are we going my Queen?" asked Elihu.

"We have to return back to Wyverdale right now, there is a portal here, we need to go now" said Wura as they all followed after her, and the hall seemed to expand right in front of their eyes as it became more and more narrow as the way behind them enclosed until they stood in front of a huge door.

Wura took a long deep breath as she opened the door, she repressed all thoughts of regret that she was feeling right now.

"Wait my Queen, let me go through first just in case" said Mero as he stopped Wura, he did not know what was going on, but he could tell that it was serious and Wura was not in the right frame of mind to explain to them what happened.

Wura nodded as Mero walked ahead of her and he walked through the door into the empty pitch dark room as Wura followed after him and so did the others as the door closed itself behind them.
