To be honest

Wura looked at her little cousin as she was just filled with joy, she loved her family so much, they were so important to her, and now, she had another addition to her family.

Wura could not lie she felt sad that she was not present when her cousin was born, but she just felt so happy right now that her cousin was born healthy, and her Aunt was alright.

"What is her name?" asked Wura with a smile as she looked at Tessa who smiled and looked at Richard.

"Lily Martagon Ridingfall" replied Tessa with a smile as Wura looked at her in disbelief.

"Lily?" asked Wura as Tessa smiled and she nodded.

"Yes my dear, we named her Lily, after the best cousin in the world" said Tessa with a smile as Wura felt her heart melting, all her previous anger and rage was all forgotten, she had received the best surprises today.

"Oh Aunt" said Wura as she felt like crying and she walked to hug Tessa while still holding her cousin.

"Oh I missed you so much my dear" said Tessa with a smile.

"I missed you too Aunt" said Wura as she broke their hug and she wiped the tear in her eye as she looked at her little cousin.

"Lily, my lovely cousin, I feel so honoured to have you named after me" said Wura with a smile as Lawrence smiled.

"Oh she is just such an angel, she is so quiet" said Wura as she caressed her cousin's cheek.

"Oh dear, that is what you think, just wait until she wakes up and she starts to wail uncontrollably" said Tessa as she laughed and Wura laughed.

"Well you do not have to worry Aunt, of course I will help you take care of her" said Wura as she smiled.

"Thank you dear, but you know that you are very busy as Queen" said Tessa as she smiled and she carried Lily from Wura who did not want to part with her beloved cousin.

"Oh I will always have time for family Aunt, you should know that" said Wura with a smile as Tessa smiled and Nora walked into the room.

"Greetings everyone" said Nora as she bowed and they all looked at her.

"Greetings Nora" replied Tessa with a smile as Nora smiled and the others greeted her.

"My Queen, I have prepared the rooms that you asked me" said Nora.

"Oh thank you Nora" said Wura as she smiled.

"You are welcome my Queen" said Nora as she bowed with a smile.

"I think we should go and get settled in now Tessa" said Ireti as she carried Lily.

"Oh yes mother you are right, Nora would you please show them to their rooms" said Wura as she looked at Nora.

"Yes my Queen" said Nora as she bowed.

"Please follow me" said Nora as Tessa, Richard and Ireti followed after her as Lawrence stayed back.

"My dear, we need to talk" said Lawrence.

"Yes father I know, shall we go to the library?" asked Wura with a smile, she could not lie that she was longing to speak to her father.

"Alright dear" said Lawrence with a smile as he followed after Wura.

"So my dear, how are you doing?" asked Lawrence with a smile as he sat down with Wura on a couch in the library.

Wura sighed, to be honest, she was not doing well at all, a part of her just wanted to tell her father every single thing that had happened, but another part of her did not want him to worry, because she knew that he would obviously worried about her.

"Oh father, I am fine" said Wura with a sigh.

"Are you sure my dear, you seem tired and overwhelmed" said Lawrence as he could see the tiredness in her eyes, he could see that Wura was hiding something from him, she could not hide her true feelings.

"Father, I really am fine…" said Wura.

"If you do not want to tell me about it, it is perfectly alright my dear" said Lawrence with a smile.

"Thank you father" said Wura as she smiled.

"But how are you father?" asked Wura with a smile.

"I am happier now that I have finally seen you my dear" said Lawrence with a smile as Wura smiled at him.

"Where is his Majesty?" asked Lawrence.

"Ahh about that father…" said Wura as she took a pause, she did not want to have to lie to him, even though it was necessary.

"Because before we left, we received a letter that says that his Majesty went on a secret peacekeeping journey, and that seemed odd to me" said Lawrence.

"Father, honestly, Liam did not go on any peacekeeping journey, but I cannot tell you where he is father, I am sorry" said Wura.

"That is alright my dear, that is not important" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"Liam?" asked Lawrence with a smile as he looked at Wura.

"Yes Liam, my husband Liam" said Wura as Lawrence smiled, the last time he had spoked to Wura, she still referred to him quite distantly, and now the way she called his name had changed.

"You have fallen in love with him" said Lawrence with a smile as it sounded like more of a statement than a question.

"Yes father, I have" replied Wura with a smile.

"I mean, how can I not fall in love with him when he is… he is himself, he is so sweet, so loving, so kind, and he loves me more than I ever knew" said Wura as she smiled.

"I love him so much, my heart belongs to no one but him" said Wura as Lawrence smiled at her, he was happy that his daughter was in love with someone who loved her.

"It makes me glad that you are happy my dear, It is clear to see that he makes you happy" said Lawrence with a smile.

"Yes father, he makes me very happy" said Wura with a smile.

"Before… I was not sure of my feelings, but now I am very sure, I am so sure that he loves me, he sacrificed himself for me, and I cannot live without him, not after everything we have been through" said Wura as she sighed, Lawrence could tell that there was something she was not telling him, but he did not want to push her, he knew that if he needed to know what was going on she would tell him.

"You love him so much, I can see it in your eyes" said Lawrence with a smile.

"Father, how do you feel when you love mother?" asked Wura with a smile.

"My dear, my definition of how I love your mother will be different from how you love your husband" said Lawrence with a smile as Wura nodded.

"Well my dear, we have been together for many years now, and the journey has been rough with ups and downs" said Lawrence.

"To tell the truth my dear, I was the one who fell in love with your mother first, she actually wanted nothing to do with me due to our stances back then" said Lawrence as Wura smiled.

"But before she loved me or accepted to be my wife, I had already been chasing after her, I fell deeply In love with her" said Lawrence with a smile.

"And now after so many years, I can tell you that I no longer love her the way I loved her when I met her" said Lawrence with a smile.

"When I fell in love with her, I loved her because of her wits, her beauty, her honesty and her hard work, and over the years I have come to love her as a mother, a wife and a woman who has been through quite a lot, but she does try" said Lawrence as he smiled.

"One thing you should know my dear is that love between a married couple can either die over the years, or grow and evolve into something deeper that is much more than shallow feelings of passion or fondness" said Lawrence as Wura nodded.

"So how do I make the love in my marriage grow father?" asked Wura with a smile as Lawrence laughed, his little girl was asking him about marriage, it made him feel so proud.

"Well my dear, I really cannot tell you that in detail, you will just have to find out for yourself, it is part of learning" said Lawrence with a smile as Wura nodded.

"Oh well, alright father, thank you" said Wura as she smiled.

"You are welcome dear" said Lawrence with a smile.

"I can just see you now, as my little girl, and yet you have grown so much" said Lawrence with a smile as Wura laughed.

"Oh father, I am always your little girl always, forever" said Wura with a smile as she hugged Lawrence.

"I know dear, I know" said Lawrence with a smile.
