Chapter Thirty

I opened my eyes to find myself in an unfamiliar environment; tried called out to Miles, but he wasn't there. I tried running, but then they tied me up. When I looked around again, it seemed my mind was playing a game with me because the environment changed.

I was home at L.A, in my parent's room. My parents lay lifeless on the floor, close to where I was tied to their bed. I screamed in fear, and the door to the room opened. Then a man walked in. It took me only a few minutes to recognize him; it was Uncle Leo.

"How long did you think you would hide from me?" I heard him say, and I stayed there with my both hands tied to the stead of the bed.

"Where is Miles?" I asked in an angry tone, struggling to break free.

"Would you look at that, Juliet is finally awake and the first thing she does is to look for Romeo." He said, laughing.
