Everything from the very beginning was intriguing , the world building , characterization and vivid description kept me wanting more . Mai is not your typical maiden in distress ,she had a rough beginning and that had me hooked . I recommend this book , try it! !

The action at the beginning was what really drew me to this story, though it slowed up a bit... but it just as quickly picked up again... and gosh Mai, such a brave girl. Just seeing her develop so amazingly made me happy. Kudos, author 👏👏👏
The book name was what caught my attention first but then, reading the book, I began to understand the true meaning of those words. I love how fast paced the book is. it's action packed and full of suspense, truly living up to it's name. Good work, Author.
The starting made me realise what is the meaning of the words. If a person see her parents in blood and dying in front of her but there is a person who trying to keep person the person safe is enough to make one crave for revenge and blood. I m waiting for more to happen..
