Just as expected, the universe came after me, thank God Lauren moved swiftly, because she was almost at the front door when there was an outburst of fire. It came through the wall behind and a lot of things were destroyed. At the end my waist and legs were submerged in the debris. The fire started coming down the stairs and Lauren just stood by the door watching. In no time, the fire surrounded the ground floor, but it hadn't engulfed everywhere.
