I showed up in front of Lauren's house with tears after Miles asked me to leave. She consoled me and vowed to get back at him for hurting my feelings. That's crazy because she could get fired but she didn't care.

So fast forward to today, it's Wednesday and Miles hasn't spoken to me after the incident at his place. He never called me to his office for anything. He conveyed the message to me through Lauren.

Today was the worst of all the previous days; we got into the elevator together. He was there before me and I couldn't wait for it to come back down. I had to share with him. He didn't talk to me as expected; he just wore a plain face throughout till we got out. Then he marched straight to his office without turning back, and I trailed behind to my office. I wonder how long he is going to keep this up.
