Lauren sat quietly for a moment without making an order and Ophie watched her carefully. She was watching through the glass display at the counter. That way she could clearly see her and she wouldn't be able to spot Ophie.

"What are you doing?" Tracy walked in and said loudly.

Then Ophie put her hands over her lips, signalling her to be quiet. Tracy, who was confused, bent down close to Ophie.

"Why are we talking in low tones," she whispered.

She found it funny, because to her they were playing detective. But nothing was funny to Ophie as this was a matter of life and death for her family.

Watching Lauren was getting boring, as she only sat there doing nothing. One of the workers at the restaurant walked over to her to take her order and she only ordered a bottle of water. The worker came over to the counter, and Ophie gently hit Tracy to get the order, and she did just that.
