Sugar Momma?

"Well, it was rare for me to go to the city, so it's not a bad idea to tail you around. I should take this as a great opportunity," said Victor.

"Great! I will show you around!" Violet retorted with glee. She was immersed in making plans; thus, she missed noticing the solemn glimmer in Victor's eyes.

"Are you sure I can't be a burden to you?" he asked.

With what Victor said, Violet curled her brow. "What are you talking about? I'm still very thankful to you for saving me back then. I will always be indebted to you."

Violet was genuinely sincere. She wanted to pay Victor with anything she could. Thus, maybe by showing him around Mainland City, she could pay him back little by little.

"Please, you don't need to exalt me as someone like a superhero. I'm just doing what every person on this planet would do. Hmm?" He could see how eager Violet was to pay him, but he was genuinely helping her without thinking of anything in return.

"Still, you are one," Violet pursued.

Seeing that she would not stop, Victor raised his hands to surrender. He rose from his seat, stood straight, and bowed like a knight. "Then, what an honor, milady."

Violet's eyes twinkled at his action. Victor behaves like a true gentleman. She wished Allen would get half at how gentle Victor was. 'Gosh. Why would I constantly think of him? Erase!'

Violet shook her head, burying all her thoughts about Allen, and shifted her attention to emptying her mug.

"Do you want some more?"

Victor noticed that Violet's mug was now empty, and he was quick to offer her more.

"Sure! Thanks!"

Victor went to the kitchen. When he returned, he had a tray in his hands—a pitcher of hot chocolate, then two slices of cheesecake.

"Umm... Did you bake this?" Violet asked delightedly. She did not wait for Victor to reply; she had already scooped up a large portion of the cheesecake and put it in her mouth. Violet savored and let the dessert melt on her tongue.

The cheesecake tastes superb! Her grandma Lucy argued that Allen was like her dad. But for Violet, Victor is more similar to her dad, and she stood on her belief that the guy is a better chef than Allen.

"Did grandma have a taste of this already?" Violet queried, as she had a plan to boost Victor to her grandma.

Victor smiled, nodded, and replied, "Yes. Nurse Madeline brought some for Grandma Lucy."

"Great!" Violet beamed. By dinner, she will compliment Victor in front of the older lady and prove that Allen is not the only man on the planet.

If only Victor did not have a unique sexual orientation; probably, she already asked the guy to pretend as her boyfriend so that her grandma stopped pestering her about Allen by mentioning him every single day.

Victor could be a perfect match against Allen. She believes Victor is as well proportioned as Allen, despite the former's face being covered with a beard.

Oh, there are times she saw Allen covered with a beard! Now that's bizarre.

Violet stared at Victor. She really has this impression that Allen and Victor both have gorgeous blue eyes.

Just that, Victor had a mix of blond and bronze hair, while Allen was closer to bronze brown.

Sadly, both are tall and lean. She could not tell who was greater in that aspect. She wondered if Victor could fight despite being gay because he didn't act like one. He only admitted that he had a boyfriend, and just recently, she met Dan.

Dan is also gorgeous, and you don't want to believe he has also had a unique sexual orientation because he has a body like Apollo. She was always in disbelief that the two of the most handsome men she met in this life did not interest girls.

Victor and Dan are absolutely every girl's dream. Their physique, perfect facial features, and even sense of humor are on top.

They were absolutely the ideal prince charming that every damsel in distress waiting to arrive and save them from loneliness.

And, oh, they were actually riding a white horse! The couple actually owns a ranch.

"Violet? Are you okay?"

Violet blinks several times. She stared at Victor for a moment as she slowly regained her senses. If Victor did not snap his fingers close to her face, she would still be in a trance.

'Gosh! How embarrassing!' Violet wishes for the floor to swallow her. She was lost in thoughts because of Victor and Dan. 'Violet, pull yourself together!'

What face could she show them if they knew she was fantasizing about them? She scolded herself over while a huge smile appeared on her face to cover her embarrassment.

"I'm just thinking about where I will take you around." She waves her hand as she makes an excuse. "I'm also not fond of strolling the city that much, so probably I will take you to the Art Museum if you'd like it. Then hit some pub at night for a drink and before we come back here, let's drop by Mainland Palace Garden for a shopping spree! Maybe you would like to customize a few suits? Oh! Let me pay for that! What do you think?"

Everything is already purchased online and delivered within the day through a robotic courier in this era. But it is still different to shop in the famous stores like the Mainland's largest mall to order custom-made clothes, which is only done by rich people who can afford the VIP membership.

"Don't you like the itinerary I prepared?" Hesitantly, Violet asked the guy when Victor did not reply but scrutinized her.

"Wherever you go. I'll follow you." Later, Victor quoted. Then, he flashed a striking smile that caused Violet's heart to flutter; she missed comprehending the meaning of Victor's phrase.

"Alright!" Violet rolled her eyes to avert her gaze not to meet Victor's. The guy is staring at her with intent; it feels like he is stripping her body for her soul to come into view.

Violet lowered her gaze and continued munching on the cheesecake. Later, what Victor had asked choked her.

"Are you treating me as your sugar baby?"

It was out of the blue, and Violet never saw it coming. She isn't sure how long it has been. If it weren't for her jaw growing numb, she would not realize that her mouth had dropped open for an amount of time.

'Am I really behaving like a sugar momma? No way! I just wanted to pay for the good deeds!'
