Allow me to love fictiously

After our productive day at work, I and Jacob agreed to have dinner at his house. But we had to call Corianne beforehand and inform her of our coming. Corianne was quite elated at this news because it had been a while since we all sat down to eat [asides from the pancake incident].

In turn, Cory called Aurum and asked her to meet us later during the evening. Afterwards Aurum called to question why I didn't tell her that we'll be having dinner at Cory's before making plans. I had to explain that I and Jacob thought about it on our way to work and it wasn't pre-planned.

Once my explanation sank in, she became elated too. Mostly at the thought of not having to eat take-outs as dinner for today.

"Makena please pass the ketchup", Jacob gestured to me from across the table.

I looked up from my plate of salad to pass the ketchup, "Sure"
