Soft, cold-blooded, and a good actress.

Iyare walked over to Josephine as Abel left the room. Josephine's heart was beating loud at a frightening speed, watching Iyare walk closer to her.

Everyone present thought Iyare would kill her too. In fact, none of them thought she could hurt an ant before she stabbed Cece in the heart. The scene was still unbelievable to them. Iyare raised her fist in the air and used it to knock Josephine unconscious.

Everybody in the room breathed a sigh of relief, seeing that she did not kill her. It was already enough trouble to deal with one dead body.

Abel returned to the room and handed over the phone to Iyare. Iyare immediately dialled the number on the phone.

"Hello, what's the update," Charles's voice came from the other end. "We need to see; I can't talk now; the security here is very tight," Iyare imitates Cece's voice. Her voice even sounds very anxious that anybody could have fallen for the trick.

"Okay, when and where?" Charles asked. His sixth sense told him not to go, but he had missed Cece's body so much that he ignored it.

"I will send you the address now; I can't be gone for too long; you know how overzealous Sam acts," Iyare said and ended the call.

The mouth of everyone in the room flew open. They were shocked, seeing her imitate Cece's voice perfectly. Shelley was amazed, she loved the different side of Iyare she witnessed. Soft, cold-blooded, and a good actress.

She wondered what other side there could be to this new boss of hers. 'I made a good choice taking this job,' she told herself mentally. She loved to work with an intelligent boss, not some spoiled heiress and the mystery around Iyare and her father would be fascinating to uncover.

She could already guess what happened due to Iyare's story, but she wanted to know every detail.

"Where is the closest motel?" Iyare asked. Sam told her, and she sent the address to Charles.

"Sam, clean her up and get her into a car," Iyare instructed, pointing at Cece. "Andrew, take Josephine to her room, and instruct someone to watch her; she can't step out of her room or talk to someone. No phones or any means of communication should be given to her,"

"I need an identical dress, like the one Cece is putting on; get a wig that also looks like her hair. Call someone to have that delivered here in five minutes. We also need blood. Can you arrange that, Shelley?" Iyare asked. Shelley looked at Cece; she was not wearing the maid outfit that morning. She was dressed in a floral gown. "Yes," Shelley nodded her head and immediately made a call.

"Abel, hack all the motel security cameras and Call the police the minute Charles arrives. I want all Cameras turned off when we get to the hotel. Sam, be careful while you move her; she is dead yet," Iyare notified. Sam doubted Iyare's words, but when she felt her pulse, he discovered she was right.

Everybody moved into action; they could already guess what Iyare had in mind.

...

Fifteen minutes later, a woman that looked like Cece was seen checking into a motel. A man and a woman carrying luggage were also checking into a room simultaneously.

The motel wasn't five-star, so their security was not tight.

Five Minutes later, Charles walked into the same motel and asked for Cece's room number, which was granted immediately since Cece informed them of his arrival.

Charles wondered why Cece chose a place like this. For some reason, he had a bad feeling about the arrangement. He concluded that Cece chose a place like this because of the time and the urgency of the situation.

Charles walked into the room smiling because he knew Cece was brilliant and should have calculated everything before calling him out. Although he felt something was wrong, he pushed the feeling to the back of his mind. Charles's smile was frozen when he saw the Cece before him.

Cece's lifeless body was on the floor in a pool of her blood. He was dumbfounded at sight. He immediately realised that he had been set up. Without wasting much time, Charles immediately turned around and left the room.

As he dashed out of the room, he bumped into someone; he immediately apologised and walked away. He walked to the reception desk, so he could ask the lady to take him off the record of his visit; he would deal with the Cctv as soon as he stepped out. But before he could say anything to the receptionist, the police walked in.

He froze on the spot. He knew there was no getting away from this problem easily. The motel did not have security cameras inside the room, so he could not prove he did not kill her.

"Someone call to report a scream from room 101," the police said, and Charles tightened his fist. 'Who dared to set him up?' he thought to himself.

He has done a lot of under-table deals, and he knew how all this work. Presently he would be unable to defend himself.

The receptionist turned her head and looked at Charles. "That's his room number," she said, pointing to Charles. She felt he was there to make a complaint since he had not said anything.

"Is everything okay?" One of the police officers asked Charles, who felt his tongue tired. He cursed himself for not listening to his sixth sense.

The police saw the complex look on his face, so they asked him to lead the way back to the room. He should have explained the situation, but he knew there was no was useless.

"What happened here?" One of the police officers asked, seeing Cece's lifeless body. Charles shakes his head. Whoever planned this was good. How could he explain that he just got set up? When everything was pointing to him as the suspect.

"I don't know when I got to the room I met her like this?" The two police officers immediately wore gloves to examine the scene, while the third officer called for backup.

"Sir, you will have to follow us to the station for questioning, the police officer informed him.

Charles nodded in agreement; he knew he had no choice but to cooperate. He was a well-known figure, and if news like this got out, his reputation would be ruined.

Cece's body was carried away by the police, and it was taken to the hospital for examination.

Charles went to the police station and made his statement. Of course, he told them he had not gone close to the victim.

As he was talking, a female officer noticed hair strings on his clothes, so it was immediately picked up.

Charles was shocked when he saw the hair just picked out of his clothes. He was sure he did not go near her. How was that possible.

He was sure someone was messing with him, but who could that be? He immediately regretted saying he did not touch her.

How could he explain her hair on his clothes now? He was surprised at how fast everything was moving. Who could be smart enough to mess with him like this? he asked himself.

"Thank you for your time; we will call you for further investigation. You can't leave the city for the time been," an officer told him. Of course,e the only reason they were letting him go was that the receptionist had confirmed that he did not spend up to five minutes before coming out again.

They needed to receive the report from the hospital before taking any action against him. The hair found on him has increased the officer in charge suspension since it was the same colour as Cece's heir. But they had to get it tested to confirm.

The CCTV record was already a severe mess up. Knowing Charles's connection, the police concluded that he could have altered the footage for his benefit. Besides, it is also possible he bought the receptionist over.

Charles frowns as his driver picks him up from the police station. He vowed to make whoever did this to him would pay.

He smiled when he thought of the bright side of the situation. He did not have to worry about Cece betraying him anymore since she knew too much about him.

He could never guess that the people he was scared of learning the truth were the ones messing with him.

He immediately picked up his phone to make a call. He needed to ensure that the incident did not link to the media.

Of course, the motel will be very comparative. They could not get into a murder scandal; it would not be suitable for their business.

"Sir," a voice came in from the other side of the phone.

"I want you to make sure that the incident today doesn't get linked to the Media," Charles ordered the person on the phone.

"I am already working on it, sir," the person replied. "Goo," Charles nodded in satisfaction. He was always impressed by the man's work since he always knew what to do before he was told.

'But who could have pulled this off on him?' he wondered. The person must have been watching him and Cece for a long time. But how did the person guess he would be coming to meet Cece? "Stupid," he cursed himself. Of course, Cece only goes to the hotel or motel to meet him; it is easy for anyone who has been watching them to guess it, he concluded.

"I will make whoever did this pay," he shouted. His driver focused on driving like he heard nothing.
