A Ghost

Within the entirety of his organization, there may be less than 20 people who were at the same cultivation realm as him. It was even less if you differentiated them based on their proficiency to use the telepathy skill. The fact that Guan Rong did not sense anyone besides the wild Witch when their call connected proved to him that the 3rd party present was a master, a strong one at that.

Ever since the world of Insane Continent collided with a scientific realm filled with starships and mechs 100 years ago, sky rending wars between sects and space alliances have erupted over the centuries. Guan Rong couldn't help but shudder every time he recalled the battles he participated in against those interstellar lunatics. If it wasn't because of Insane Continent's abundance of divine artifacts and mythical arrays, Guan Rong believed that the galactic federations of Space Throne had a chance of defeating the sects they waged war on.

Alas, after the last world war between the inhabitants of Insane Continent and Space Throne, the world went into a spiritual qi depression (help me think of a better name) which the inhabitants of Space Throne took advantage of. Since the current world only had a thin amount of spiritual qi left, the masters who took part in the last war would need a very long tome to recuperate while it'd be harder for new experts to show up within the newer generations.

With the lack of manpower capable of defending their home world, the Silver Dragon Galactical Federation was the first to began deploying their troops to the nearby cities to take over before turning it into their bases for their own kind. In present times, the interstellar lunatics occupied 1/3 of Insane Continent while also preaching about the wonders of their technology to the rest of the world.

'Hello, are you there?' While Guan Rong was reminiscing about the past, a youthful voice full of vigor and vitality suddenly rang in his mind.

"Huh? What...what? Yes, I'm here." Still waking from his daze, Guan Rong replied in confusion.

'Good, good...I thought I lost connection there. Phew!' Sion, who was still floating behind the Wild Witch, let out a sigh of relief. After greeting the two on the telepathic call, a dead silence followed which Sion thought he was disconnected from the two. Horu wouldn't be pleased to know that Sion f**ked their chance of gathering info in their first encounter with a living being.

'Alright, let's restart our introductions. Hi, my name is Sion the Ghost. I'm eternally 17 and I hail from Ancient Ghost Clan. Technically, I founded the clan but it's members have all ascended into the Heavens, leaving this little o' ghost to fend for himself in the mortal realm. Considering I was the only member of AGC, I decided to turn my clan into a nomad clan before I began to wander the myriad realms in search for fun and adventure. Introduction done! Now it's you guys' turns.' [Sion]

"Sion the Ghost? Ancient...Ancient Ghost Clan? Multiverse? Huh?" Despite Sion enthusiastically introducing himself to the two, Guan Rong along with the Wild Witch were filled with confusion and hesitation towards the newcomer. Guan Rong especially, was incredibly confused by the newcomer's introduction. Although he may be a five thousand year old Dao Reincarnate expert who had wandered the world many times before, he had never heard of Sion the Ghost nor a clan called Ancient Ghost Clan within his own world.

Even after the merge of his world along with Space Throne and the appearance of Demonizers, Guan Rong had never heard of a master who called himself a ghost.

But before he could open his mouth, the ghost, who had a stronger spiritual sense than him read Guan Rong's thoughts and replied, "Of course you haven't heard of me nor of my clan. I'm a ghost. I'm not from this world. You wouldn't be able to find me unless I decided to show myself first. Despite reaching the Dao Reincarnate realm at this young of an age, your mind is still that of a child. You have not seen the peculiarities of the multiverse yet.'

"Wait, you are an actual ghost?" [Guan Rong]

'Yep.' [Sion]

"Wild Witch, could turn your head to the back?" [Guan Rong]

"No sir! I cannot and will not, sir!" The scared Wild Witch stiffly replied. Since he was a Demonizer who has control over the supernatural, he was certain that a being, albeit transparent, was right behind him.

"I'll quadruple your pay." [Guan Rong]

"I humbly reject, Sir!" [Wild Witch]

"I'll get you a ticket to the B**b World Theme Park." [Guan Rong]

"Rejected!" [Wild Witch]

This charade went on for another 30 minutes before Guan Rong made an offer that the Wild Witch could not reject.
