Summons (Ch.159)

"My King, Her Grace needs us to keep a clear head at this time. She would be waiting for you to come to her rescue, you cannot lose composure now." Riley reasoned.

At the mention of Kaylani, the tremors grew even more violent before they abruptly stopped.

Kelevi ran a hand through his hair in frustration, a quiet hiss escaping him.

Kelevi could not believe himself, he had been so focused on getting Kaylani to love him back that he had completely neglected her safety.

He had been so focused on his desire that he had let things come to this, he had let Kaylani face the very danger that she wanted no part of.

Kelevi's throat clogged up in despair and his hands trembled, a feeling of self loathing settled heavily on his heart.

"Cain, please proceed to the war room first." Jodi excused the hunters knowing Kelevi was not in a good state.

Cain nodded in understanding and led his hunters away, shutting the door to the throne room behind him.
