She bit him?

"How did I get into this situation?" Flare asked himself as he badly wanted to cry.

He was laying on the bed. But he did not feel the usual comfort when he lay there at all.

On the contrary, he felt like he was in hell, being tortured for the most serious crimes one could ever commit.

Otherwise, why would he have to lay on the bed beside the woman named Estella whose stench he couldn't bear at all?

But his torture did not end with that. In addition to the fact that he had to breathe in the stench of that woman, he also had to allow her daughter to hold his tail. 'Ahh my poor tail. Leave it alone already!!!'

He would have ran away long ago if he did not consider the fact that she was just a small baby who wanted to drink milk only after holding his poor tail.

For the sake of a small baby, Flare had no other choice but to sacrifice his tail. 'But why does she have to squeeze it so hard? It hurts, alright?!!'

What could he do? The size of the girl reminded him of his human sister, Hao Ran, and thus couldn't harden his heart enough to make the little girl cry.

For the sake of this little girl, Moana, even the hateful woman, Estella pleaded with him so that she could finish her food calmly.

Thus, though regretfully, he had no other choice but to resign to his fate by allowing the girl to play with his tail however she wanted.

What he did not expect was that when he closed his eyes to bear the grunt within himself, some wet mouth suddenly took a bite on his tail making him jolt suddenly.

"What are you doing?" He shrieked at the little girl who just bit his tail like he was her food.

Luckily for him, the little girl still did not grow her teeth and hence her bite was not as painful as it was supposed to be.

But he was scared when he saw the girl smacking her lips like she just enjoyed her meal.

Flare subconsciously took a couple of steps away from her as his fur stood straight with fright.

"Am I your dessert after your meal? What do you think of me?" He shrieked again.

Of course, Moana did not understand what he was screaming about but she had fun looking at his jumping figure. Her eyes shone with amusement as she giggled looking at him.

Estella on the other hand did not stop her daughter's endeavors but pursed her lips while her shoulders shook. It was very clear that she was trying her best to control her laughter but was failing miserably.

"Damn woman, stop laughing and hang a leash on your daughter," Flare scolded Estella, which she did not understand.

But looking at his expression as he looked at Estella, she could almost understand what he was telling her. This only further elevated her laughter instead of controlling it in.

"Grr…" Flare 'roared' with his soft voice before he darted out of his bedroom leaving the mad mother and daughter duo alone.

He was scared that if he stayed in the same room with them for a few more minutes, he would be chewed alive by them both.

He ran and jumped onto Yao Xinyu's lap before curling his small body into her arms. Only in her arms would he feel safe.

"Mom, save me from your friend and her daughter, alright?" He softly mewed into her stomach.

Sadly for him, she did not understand his words but nevertheless she cajoled him by caressing his head.

He felt happy in her arms and her soft caresses as he slowly closed his eyes, enjoying, while he heard his human mother saying, "Flare, Estella and her family would be our new neighbours from now onwards. Now, you got another sister. Do you like her?"

"Whaaaattt????" Flare couldn't believe his words. He wanted to shout his answer, no, he doesn't like that new sister at all. She would eat him alive but he also knows that his mother wouldn't understand his words.

Hence he desperately shook his head showing his displeasure to her.

"..." Yao Xinyu was dumbfounded by his huge reaction as she did not understand what her friend and her small baby would have done to the poor raccoon to make him hate them so much.

After all, this was the first time the calm and collected Flare had given such a huge reaction for something.

On the other hand Estella was laughing out loud enjoying his 'cute' reaction while her husband was equally dumbfounded as Yao Xinyu was.
