-He Hates Me- Chapter 6

Zach was not expecting that question just right after he finished his studies but he believes that he is indeed ready for his new beginning of serving the royal family. Zach kneeled and then said

"I may not be as capable as the others and I might not have been learning and training for that long but I can assure you that I will do my absolute best to serve the Royal Family"

The Queen panned her sight at the back of the room where Elijah was quietly standing together with Rowan and gave Her Highness a nod with a faint smile on his face to give his approval. The Queen smiled back and then stood up from her chair.

"I, Queen Rafa Eisenhower, declare Zach Braiseley to officially become a knight in command serving the Royal Family directly under the Prince, Dhrake Eisenhower for his whole life, do you agree and swear your loyalty to the Prince?"

"I humbly accept this opportunity of serving the Royal Family and swear my loyalty to the Prince of Eisen Kingdom that I, Zach Braiseley will never betray the Prince and will be willing to give my life for him if needed" Zach replied still kneeling

"Do you approve of him? Son?"

Zach was not expecting the Prince to be there nor did he see him walk inside the room making him suddenly look up to see the Prince that was standing just right beside the Queen.

The Prince looked at him with such a serious face. Despite the Prince being younger than him, he felt a bit frightened by that stare.

The Prince took at least ten seconds before answering the Queen's question.

"..Is he mad at me??.." Zach said in his mind

"I gladly accept this knight in front of me as my Personal Knight"

"Very well then," said the Queen

"You are now officially a knight working directly under the Prince, congratulations!" Elijah told Zach then tapped his back.

"Yeah," Zach said then smiled

"I'll get going now, Mother" the Prince suddenly said

"Why?" the Queen asked

"..." the Prince remained silent

"I see, you may go now," the Queen said as she saw the sad look his son had on his face.

The Queen was aware of the situation, she knows that Zach had lost his memories and that included the memories that he had with the Prince. The Queen decided to take Zach in thinking that not only could it help him regain his memories by getting treatment from Rowan but he could also probably be with his son to company him and play with him making Zach's memories probably recover faster, but her son is still a child so he probably won't make the first move even if he feels extremely devastated.

The Prince walked out not even looking at anything but the floor.

"Your Majesty..." Zach called quietly

"Yes?" She replied

"Does... the Prince not like me as..?" Zach who wasn't sure if he should ask the question couldn't continue what he was saying.

"Oh...that's not the case don't worry" The Queen reassured him

"The Prince does act older than his age," Elijah said bluntly

"I think he looks sad though. Is he sad?" Rowan added

The Queen just looked surprised at how good Rowan is at determining how other people feel and what emotions they're showing. He's been like this since he started serving the Eisen Kingdom.

"We should get going now Your Majesty" Elijah who can't bare Rowan's nosiness said

"Yeah..you may go, again congratulations Zach," The Queen said

"Thank you, Your Majesty," He said then they left

"I don't think the Prince likes me, no, I'm pretty certain that he despises me," Zach said while they were walking in the hallway

"He does not hate you," Rowan said with such a serious tone

"Is it because of that time?" Zach was referring to when he woke up and didn't recognize him at all

"Could be, but I'm sure that he doesn't hate you...probably" Rowan said

"..probably huh..." Zach faintly said

"Zach!!"

Someone suddenly called his name
