What the Shadows left behind 2

Cain and El who finally landed near the Beowolves were giggling in happiness as they saw the state the Beowolves were in. Gone were the warriors who knew not defeat and, in their place, the small squad looked no more like a group of drunks who partied too hard. Cain quickly said a few words while he still could.

"Well done Beowolves, the road was long and it was near impossible. But we won through it. Rest easy you have all earned it."

As the last vestiges of consciousness left Arthur, he embraced his wife, and they both fell to the ground together. Not without placing himself to hit the ground first as they fell of course. El who was bewildered by her husband suddenly bringing her to the ground could only meekly mutter out in embarrassment.

"Arthur! Not here! wait until we are alone!"
