The Forces of Asgard then proceeded to deploy their forces at the outer edges of the twelve cities. all waiting for the start of the battle. Loki was with his Aesir army watching the Eymouri wander around in the city of Harkstad. There were no longer any souls alive in the city.

His Adjutant then asked in aggravation, "Lord Loki, are we even sure that the Earthling army is capable of such a feat?" Aware of how impossible his request was the god of mischief remembered the words of the blond swordsman of the Paladins.
